There is a table: prov_dl
| ID | Code | Value |
+----+----------+-------+
| 2 | PRC | 0,1701|
| 2 | Stad | 3 |
Data is stored in this form, that is,
there are several entries by code
You need to pull the data in this form:
| ID | Stadya | Percent |
+----+----------+-----------+
| 2 | 3 | 0,1701 |
I try this:
select id,
case when code='Stad' then Value end Stadya,
case when code='PRC' then Value end Percent
from prov_dl
| ID | Stadya | Percent|
+----+----------+--------+
| 2 | | 0,1701 |
| 2 | 3 | |
use max()
select id,
max(case when code='Stad' then Value end) as Stadya,
max(case when code='PRC' then Value end) as Percent
from prov_dl group by id

I have a table like this in MS SQL SERVER
+------+------+
| ID | Cust |
+------+------+
| 1 | A |
| 1 | A |
| 1 | B |
| 1 | B |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | B |
| 3 | A |
| 3 | B |
| 3 | B |
| 3 | C |
| 3 | C |
+------+------+
I don't know the values in column "Cust" and I want to return all rows where the value of "Cust" appears multiple times and where at least one of the "ID" values is "1".
Like this:
+------+------+
| ID | Cust |
+------+------+
| 1 | A |
| 1 | A |
| 1 | B |
| 1 | B |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | B |
| 3 | A |
| 3 | B |
| 3 | B |
+------+------+
Any ideas? I can't find it.
You may use COUNT window function as the following:
SELECT ID, Cust
FROM
(
SELECT ID, Cust,
COUNT(*) OVER (PARTITION BY Cust) cn,
COUNT(CASE WHEN ID=1 THEN 1 END) OVER (PARTITION BY Cust) cn2
FROM table_name
) T
WHERE cn>1 AND cn2>0
ORDER BY ID, Cust
COUNT(*) OVER (PARTITION BY Cust) to check if the value of "Cust" appears multiple times.
COUNT(CASE WHEN ID=1 THEN 1 END) OVER (PARTITION BY Cust) to check that at least one of the "ID" values is "1".
See a demo.
Let's say I have the following table:
| sku | id | value | count |
|-----|----|-------|-------|
| A | 1 | 1 | 2 |
| A | 1 | 2 | 2 |
| A | 3 | 3 | 3 |
I want to select rows that don't have the same count for the same id. So my desired outcome is:
| sku | id | value | count |
|-----|----|-------|-------|
| A | 3 | 3 | 3 |
I need something that works with Postgres 10
A simple method is window functions:
select t.*
from (select t.*, count(*) over (partition by sku, id) as cnt
from t
) t
where cnt = 1;
This assumes you really mean the sku/id combination.
I have a table that looks like this
+----+------------+------+
| ID | Session_ID | Type |
+----+------------+------+
| 1 | 1 | 2 |
| 2 | 1 | 4 |
| 3 | 1 | 2 |
| 4 | 2 | 2 |
| 5 | 2 | 2 |
| 6 | 3 | 2 |
| 7 | 3 | 1 |
+----+------------+------+
And I would like to count all occurences of a type that are in a sequence.
Output look some how like this:
+------------+------+-----+
| Session_ID | Type | cnt |
+------------+------+-----+
| 1 | 2 | 1 |
| 1 | 4 | 1 |
| 1 | 2 | 1 |
| 2 | 2 | 2 |
| 3 | 2 | 1 |
| 3 | 1 | 1 |
+------------+------+-----+
A simple group by like
SELECT session_id, type, COUNT(type)
FROM table
GROUP BY session_id, type
doesn't work, since I need to group only rows that are "touching".
Is this possible with a merge sql-select or will I need some sort of coding. Stored Procedure or Application side coding?
UPDATE Sequence:
If the following row has the same type, it should be counted (ordered by ID).
to determine the sequence the ID is the key with the session_ID, since I just want to group rows with the same session_ID.
So if there are 3 rows is in one session
row with the ID 1 has type 1,
and the second row has type 1
and row 3 has type 2
Input:
+----+------------+------+
| ID | Session_ID | Type |
+----+------------+------+
| 1 | 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 1 | 1 |
| 3 | 1 | 2 |
+----+------------+------+
The squence is Row 1 to Row 2. This three row should output
Output:
+------------+------+-------+
| Session_ID | Type | count |
+------------+------+-------+
| 1 | 1 | 2 |
| 3 | 2 | 1 |
+------------+------+-------+
You can use a difference of id and row_number() to identify the gaps and then perform your count
;with cte as
(
Select *, id - row_number() over (partition by session_id,type order by id) as grp
from table
)
select session_id,type,count(*) as cnt
from cte
group by session_id,type,grp
order by max(id)
Im have table
+----+-----------+-----------+--------+
| id | peer | whom | action |
+----+-----------+-----------+--------+
| 1 | 200000001 | 213321213 | 0 |
| 2 | 200000001 | 124321213 | 1 |
| 3 | 200000001 | 124321213 | 1 |
| 4 | 200000001 | 124789123 | 1 |
+----+-----------+-----------+--------+
I need to get how many pluses and minuses the user received in total, those should result in the following table
action 0 is minus, action 1 is plus
+-----------+------+-------+
| whom | plus | minus |
+-----------+------+-------+
| 213321213 | 2 | 1 |
| 124789123 | 1 | 0 |
+-----------+------+-------+
With conditional aggregation:
select
whom,
sum(action = 1) plus,
sum(action = 0) minus
from tablename
where peer = ?
group by whom
You seem to want a simple aggregation:
select whom, sum(action) as plus, sum(1 - action) as minus
from t
group by whom;
I've used SQL for a while but wouldn't say I'm at an advanced level. I've tinkered with trying to figure this out myself to no avail.
I have two tables - Transaction and TransactionType:
| **TransactionID** | **Name** | **TransactionTypeID** |
| 1 | Tom | 1 |
| 2 | Jim | 1 |
| 3 | Mo | 2 |
| 4 | Tom | 3 |
| 5 | Sarah | 4 |
| 6 | Tom | 1 |
| 7 | Sarah | 1 |
| **TransactionTypeID** | **TransactionType** |
| 1 | A |
| 2 | B |
| 3 | C |
| 4 | D |
The Transaction.TransactionTypeID is a Forein Key linked TransactionType.TransactionTypeID field.
Here's what I'd like to achieve:
I'd like a query (this will be a stored procedure) that returns three columns:
Name - the value of the Transaction.Name column.
NumberOfTypeATransactions - the count of the number of all transactions of type 'A' for that person.
NumberOfNonTypeATransactions - the count of the number of all transactions that are NOT of type A for that person, i.e. all other transaction types.
So, using the above data as an example, the result set would be:
| **Name** | **NumberOfTypeATransactions** | **NumberOfNonTypeATransactions** |
| Tom | 2 | 1 |
| Jim | 1 | 0 |
| Mo | 0 | 1 |
| Sarah | 1 | 1 |
I might also need to return the results based on a date period (which will be based on a 'transaction date' column in the Transaction table but I haven't finalized this requirement yet.
Any help in how I can achieve this would be much appreciated. Apologies of the layout of the tables is a bit odd - haven't worked out how to format them properly yet.
This is just conditional aggregation with a join:
select t.name,
sum(case when tt.TransactionType = 'A' then 1 else 0 end) as num_As,
sum(case when tt.TransactionType <> 'A' then 1 else 0 end) as num_notAs
from transaction t join
transactiontype tt
on tt.TransactionTypeID = t.TransactionTypeID
group by t.name;
