Repost from user Jin G.
After going through the Flow installation tutorial I tried to run the sumo demo example using the following terminal command:
python examples/sumo/sugiyama.py
I got the following error message: Could not connect to TraCI server at localhost: 40335 [Errno 111] Connection refused
Any thoughts on what to do to fix this issue?
After days of retrying and searching I found a fix..
My issue was that I did not activate the conda environment when running the simulations.
To do so before running any simulations type the following into the command prompt:
source activate flow

my original aim was to run a headless selenium webdriver on a Raspberry Pi 3 (rasbian). After hours and hours of failing, I make a step back and now I only try to run chromium-browser which needed for the webdriver.
There... I recognize some errors after execute:
sudo ./chromium-browser --headless --no-sandbox --disable-gpu --disable-extensions
Error-Stack:
--disable-quic --enable-tcp-fast-open --disable-gpu-compositing --ppapi-flash-path=/usr/lib/chromium-browser/libpepflashplayer.so --ppapi-flash-args=enable_stagevideo_auto=0 --ppapi-flash-version=
[1015/183516.617458:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(670)] Failed to put Xlib into threaded mode.
[1015/183516.625190:ERROR:gpu_process_transport_factory.cc(1029)] Lost UI shared context.
I search for solution in internet but I found no results.
Following I have to add:
-everything works fine if run the webdriver on my windows system
-I reproduce the error on two complete different raspberry Pi's
-I also try to run on a Raspbian virtual machine
-I try to run the webdriver with iceweasel and geckodriver with the result "Error: connection refused"
So I am out of ideas, thankful for any response.
For others who are still struggling to find a solution:
It seems that the issue is with diplay resource when running the program on a remote server having multiple display.
You may try setting the DISPLAY environment parameter
export DISPLAY=:1.0;
I use Anaconda Navigator for my machine learning experiments. Recently, I have started getting this strange SSL error no matter what I try to install using conda prompt. The error is SSL error. I am posting the error message that I get
Solving environment: failed

I have an institutional proxy server; the credentials, apt.conf file etc are all OK.
Even then I am not able to install any package using conda.
Interestingly, I have installed numerous packages using conda prompt and I never faced any such error until recently. Also, I am able to follow the links (using the browser) given in the error message which means that the proxy is not blocking the site.
I was asked to use
conda config --set ssl_verify True
but even this did not help. Any help ?
I even entered the proxy server details as given in HTTP error while using conda for installation of any packages
Try copying these files from Anaconda3/Library/bin to Anaconda3/DLLs :
libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll
libssl-1_1-x64.dll
When I had an SSL error related to conda on my work laptop behind a firewall, I had to set ssl_verify to false to get it to work.
This should do the job.
conda config --set ssl_verify False
This is due to .dll error
go to location where you've install anaconda3>Library>bin. search and copy following dll files
libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll
libssl-1_1-x64.dll
and paste to anaconda3>DLLs.
then restart your pc.
issue will get resolved.
The following steps worked for me:
Use this command to see proxy_servers
conda config --show
This will remove saved proxy servers from anaconda configuration.
conda config --remove-key proxy_servers
conda clean --source-cache
Hope this helps you.
When I try to add new python interpreter via ssh (WSL), I get an error: Connection to sshuser#localhost:22 failed: Error finalising cipher.
I have the last version of Pycharm. I tried to connect to WSL via ssh using Putty and it works.
I have found this post: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360000192424-Cant-connect-via-shh-to-choose-intepreter-WSL- This is a similar issue, but port changing was not helpful for me.
What am I doing wrong? Please help!
Need to remove or rename c.kdbx file at the Pycharm config folder.

I'm following the Getting Started Tutorial, using eris version 0.12.0
I stuck at the point where to deploy the smart contract ~/.eris/apps/idi/idi.sol
eris pkgs do --chain simplechain --address $addr
By random I get either of following two errors:
Performing action. This can sometimes take a wee while
Could not perform pkg action service: Could not perform pkg action: Docker: {"m
ssage":"Cannot link to a non running container: /simplechain-a49e7fc2-45d4-44df

or:

When I install eris version 0.11.4 the error looks like this:
Performing action. This can sometimes take a wee while
Sorry, the marmots were unable to load the eris-pm jobs file. Please check your

Container interactive-39ac3a49-52fa-4f1d-953e-1662b1af7f21 exited with status 1
I restarted Docker Quickstart Terminal several times and also deleted the default VM in VirtualBox.
What I'm doing wrong? Thanks for help!
In addition to David's answer, you also should run
eval $(docker-machine env eris) to activate the docker-image.
I had been missing the eris docker-machine running. You can check this with
docker-machine ls
And you can recreate it with:
docker-machine create -d virtualbox eris
Thanks to quick help from Monax / Eris team.
I have a Raspberry Pi that I'm trying to hook-up to walkie-talkies to announce the current time every half hour plus different status updates automatically.
I had a CRON job running mpg123 that was announcing the time over the walkies perfectly, but then when I installed the drivers for this RasClock module as specified here (https://www.modmypi.com/blog/installing-the-rasclock-raspberry-pi-real-time-clock), all audio stopped working.
speaker-test says:
speaker-test 1.0.25
Playback device is default
Stream parameters are 48000Hz, S16_LE, 1 channels
Using 16 octaves of pink noise
Playback open error: -1,Operation not permitted
and mpg123 says:
[module.c:142] error: Failed to open module jack: file not found
[module.c:142] error: Failed to open module portaudio: file not found
[pulse.c:84] error: Failed to open pulse audio output: Connection refused
[nas.c:220] error: could not open default NAS server
[module.c:142] error: Failed to open module openal: file not found
[audio.c:180] error: Unable to find a working output module in this list: alsa, oss, jack, portaudio, pulse, nas, openal
[audio.c:532] error: Failed to open audio output module
[mpg123.c:897] error: Failed to initialize output, goodbye.
Now, the machine tends to freeze up a lot, too. When I tried suggestions I found online, such as adding "LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/mpg123" or "export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib:/usr/lib/mpg123" before the command, it made no difference.
What little hair I have left thanks you in advance for helping me through this.
I had the same error message with mpg123.
Before this message, I installed all these packages: mysql-server, build-essential, libmysqlclient-dev, libapache2-mod-wsgi.
I also changed group:
# usermod -G anothergroup pi
One of these two manipulations have caused my problem.
The solution in my case ?
Go in the /etc/group file and modify the line beginning with "audio" from this...
audio:x:NN:
to that...
audio:x:NN:pi
N.B.: NN is the GID. pi is the Raspberry Pi's default username.
To achieve the same result, there is also this command :
# usermod -a -G audio pi
Log out from your session and log in again.
P.S.: Could somebody add the mpg123 tag because I spent a lot of time without finding this topic, as I have exactly the same problem with mpg123 ?
I had the same issue run this command should fix it modprobe snd_bcm2835
