CucumberJvmSMFormatter: start has failed - intellij-idea

Here is total information about my project:
- Cucumber for Java v191.6014.8;
- Gherkin v191.5849.16;
- II 2019 Community.
After start I get message: "Error running... /CucumberJvmSMFormatter".
But that decision didn't help me.
CucumberJvmSMFormatter Error on IntelliJ IDE
I expect the normal start of my test, but I see the message "Error running... /CucumberJvmSMFormatter"

This is caused by a mismatch between Cucumber version and IntelliJ / plugin version.
Try installing the Cucumber plugin again. If that doesn't work, try removing the CucumberJvmSMFormatter from your run arguments.

I've tried to change the gradle version into the gradle-wrapper.properties from 2.0 to 2.6, It just lasted longer.
I'm not a professional in this but my workaround when I had this problem was replacing forge gradle with anatawa12's fork. I think what happened was some urls changed in one of the forge updates and forge 1.7.10 wasn't considered in the change.
New gradle: https://github.com/anatawa12/ForgeGradle-1.2
How to fix the Problem Method 1:
Follow: https://github.com/anatawa12/ForgeGradle-example#how-to-replace-forgegradle-12-with-anatawa12s-fork
Edit Gradle wrapper to use gradle 4.4.1 or higher.
How to fix the Problem Method 2:
Download and use anatawa12's example gradle template (same commands for cmd):

Problems in IntelliJ since version 2022.1 / java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

As of today, when I try to run some of my programs in IntelliJ today, this message was shown:
Executing pre-compile tasks...

Running Ant tasks...
Running 'before' tasks
Checking sources
Finished, saving caches…
Module 'Listen' production: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/intellij/DynamicBundle

13.04.22, 14:54 - Build completed with 1 error and 0 warnings in 4 sec, 39 ms
This line is printed in red: Module 'Listen' production: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/intellij/DynamicBundle
I don't really have too much of an idea where I should look for the problem.
It seems to not have anything to do with the project itself. I already created a new Project and created a Hello World-program, which resulted in the same error.
Remarkably, yesterday my IntelliJ IDEA version was updated to version 2022.1.
Runtime version: 11.0.14.1+1-b2043.25 amd64
VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o.
I have no idea either whether it has anything to do with the new version either.
I maintain another Project, which uses Scala language. That one is messed up even more:
Cannot process toolwindow sbt

I had the same problem after upgrading to Intellij 2022.1
For me, the fix came from Gen's answer. I also had an old Scala plugin, and just removed it as I'm not using it anymore.
If you are looking to upgrade it, go to File -> Settings -> Plugins. From there just hit Upgrade for the plugins you want. After that restart the IDE.
I found that Scala plugin was not updated and updating it to at least version 2022.1.13 fixed it for me.
I upgraded to Intellij 2022.1 and encountered this issue when trying to sync the old gradles projects that used to work for me :
Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/gradle/internal/impldep/com/google/common/collect/Lists
Cleaning the caches folder's content (Gradle_HOME/caches) resolved this issue for me
Make sure to also check that the SDK is correctly configured for your project (Java 17 by default) and the Gradle home is well specified in the Settings>Gradle section.
For info, I'm using Java 8 and Gradle 5.5.1 (yes I know :))
Just upgrade the Scala Plugin and its done!
visiting
scala plugin's page
and install it from there worked for me on ultimate version 2022.2.3

Databricks Connect: Unable to run scala program in databricks cluster from IntelliJ

Followed the steps mentioned in this docs. databricks-connect test command works fine. However, when I launch the test scala program from Intellij, I'm seeing following error:

Environment details:

I had the same error message, turns out I did not add the databricks-connect library properly. You should add the library like described here: https://docs.databricks.com/dev-tools/databricks-connect.html#intellij-scala-or-java

How to make Sonar Scanner (Runner) find objc plugin

Currently, I'm setting up Sonarqube for objective-c project.
SonarQube : 5.4 (worked)
Sonar runner: 2.8
Sonar Plugin for Objective C : https://github.com/octo-technology/sonar-objective-c
but when I try to run sonar runner for the project then terminal said:
ERROR: Error during SonarQube Scanner execution
ERROR: You must install a plugin that supports the language 'objc'
ERROR:
ERROR: Re-run SonarQube Scanner using the -X switch to enable full debug logging.
ERROR - Command 'sonar-runner ' failed with error code: 1
Could you please give me some advice ?
I am not sure which version of SonarQube you are using but for SonarQube version 6.7(Latest), you can download Objective-C plugin from here and copy it to :
SONAR_HOME/extensions/plugins/
In my case it was /usr/local/Cellar/sonarqube/6.7.1/libexec/extensions/plugins/
Restart the SonarQube server and you're good to go.
It's an old issue but I hope this helps someone.

SeleniumRC FF3.5.x-3.6 lock file troubles

With Selenium RC 1.0.1, and FF3.5.x or 3.6 I keep seeing this error when trying to run any test,
Failed to start new browser session:

when running the server with either,
java -jar selenium-server.jar -multiwindow
or
java -jar selenium-server.jar
Any one found a way to run a selenium RC test against those version of FF? Here's the full stack trace,

Restarting the browser, and clearing the cache didn't help. Using FF 3.0.x works just fine.
Seems seleniumRC 1.0.2 just came out today with claimed support for FF3.6 and such. Is working for me.
I was able to fix this issue by following these instructions:
http://jira.openqa.org/browse/SRC-507
This is for an older version of Selenium, but it works just the same. I am having to use 1.0.1 (for IE compatibility) and it has the MaxVersion of FF at 3.5. It was throwing the same error as above.
I changed the various files to '3.6' and it works now.
I just downloaded Selenium RC 1.0.3, and it did NOT fix the problem for me.
