apex addError - remove default error message - error-handling

I have added addError to my record like in the following.
v.addError('My Error message');
But I get the error message like in the following.
I don't want the default part "Error: Invalid Data. Review all error messages to correct your data".
I tried adding to some field instead of adding it to the whole record.
But in this case, it implies that the error is specific to what the user has entered in that field. But this is not what I want. My error is record specific.
In a nutshell, based on some condition, I want to stop a record being inserted. This is actually to be added to before insert of my trigger.
Please help.

Try this Code for field level error message:

While using the code able I'm getting an error message as below and also I'm getting the output table.

It's not a true error, exactly; it's a data error, which SAS will let by. What it's saying is the value in serv_to_DT_KEY is not a valid yymmdd8 for some records. (The rest of the message, about "limit set by ...", is just SAS saying it's only going to tell you about 20 or so individual data errors instead of showing you every single one, so your log isn't hopeless.)
To fix this you have several options:
If there is a data issue [ie, all rows should have a valid date], then fix that.
If it's okay that some rows don't have a valid date (for example, they might have a missing), you can use the ?? modifier in the informat in input to tell it to ignore these.
Like this:
input(put(serv_to_DT_KEY,8.),?yymmdd8.)

UI5 Odata batch update - Connect return messages to single operation

I perform a batch update on an OData v2 model, that contains several operations.
The update is performed in a single changeset, so that a single failed operation fails the whole update.
If one operation fails (due to business logic) and a message returns. Is there a way to know which operation triggered the message? The response I get contains the message text and nothing else that seems useful.
The error function is triggered for every failed operation, and contains the same message every time.
Maybe there is a specific way the message should be issued on the SAP backend?
The ABAP method /iwbep/if_message_container->ADD_MESSAGE has a parameter IV_KEY_TAB, but it does not seem to affect anything.

Clarification following conversation.
My service does not return a list of messages, it performs updates. If one of the update operations fails with a message, I want to connect the message to the specific update that failed, preferably without modifying the message text.

If you want to keep the same exact message for all operations the simplest way to be able to determine the message origin would be to add a specific 'tag' to it in the backend.
For example, you can fill the PARAMETER field of the message structure with a specific value for each operation. This way you can easily determine the origin in gateway or frontend.
If I understand your question correctly, you could try the following.
override the following DPC methods:
changeset_begin: set cv_defer_mode to abap_true
changeset_end: just redefine it, with nothing inside
changeset_process:
here you get a list of your requests in a table, which has the operation number (thats what you seek), and the key value structure (iwbep.blablabla) for the call.
loop over the table, and call the method for each of the entries.
put the result of each of the operations in the CT_CHANGESET_RESPONSE.
in case of one operation failing, you can raise the busi_exception in there and there you can access the actual operation number.

Instamojo payment gateway error

After I checkout choosing instamojo as my payment option, the following error shows up. I filled in the email field in the billing details and yet, it shows up. How do I fix this?

I tried commenting the email line (line 42) in which case 'this field may not be blank' still shows up except without the error message
I think the quick fix to this would be to push the email to session data and fetching it from there instead of order_info array, before you send it to instamojo.. I hope that should help.

Issue raising an error in after trigger

I'm having an issue raising an error in an after trigger, and I don't see any reason why I can raise an error one way, but not the other. Let me give you an example.
The following trigger will fail and raise the following error:

However, raising an error this way works. Please note there is always ever only 1 record in the keyset, at least in this test scenario.

addError() doesn't roll back your insertion it will just prevent the further execution of the script, so the data is never inserted if an you throw an error on UI.
By doing this
Trigger.new[0].addError('However, this works?');
You're simply throwing an error on the first record in the list thereby stopping anything processing.
Something like this will solve your first code snip

You were querying out the account Ids and by that time they were already committed to the database, which won't allow errors to be flagged on the records

Yii CDbException.. invalid input syntax for integer: "1,075"

I started receiving this error from a production site since this morning and I'm wondering why I don't get the same in UAT or the developer environment..
Is any one familiar with an error like this ?

The issue was actually because used number_format() function to a primary key and later in a code section it inputs the formatted number to search query.. i.e select * from user where id = 1,075 (instead of id = 1075)
Changing the number_format() function to apply only on selected areas worked.
