Upload file at checkout - bigcommerce

Is it possible to add a input type=file element to the checkout.html and persist it as an attachment to a checkout?
It seems the only way to make a file attachment in an order that would be visible from the store admin is to create a file option https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Options-SKUs-Rules#file-upload, and add that to the cart to support the attachment.

No, at this time it is not possible to add a input type=file element to the checkout.html and persist it as an attachment to a checkout.
Current Options

Product Option
File Upload Product Option - https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Options-SKUs-Rules#file-upload
A file can be stored as an option-value on a product that is dynamically added to the cart.
This would require effort in hiding the product that represents the purchase order from showing up in the cart and checkout.

file upload field support is coming soon for the S2S Cart API - thanks #KarenWhite

How to reflect the changes in Order Confirmation Files from Bigcommerce Checkout-JS?

How to add image uploader in shopify?

In my shopify store I make custom arts based on customer's image. I need to add an image uploader where user selects the image and when they hit continue I should take them to checkout. I am using the debut theme. How can I make this happen?
You can add additional details to a product by including an input field with a name of properties[some-property-name], and this also works for input fields with a type of file.
For example, you could add the following to your product form to create an image upload field. (Note: Make sure your form has enctype="multipart/form-data" set so that browsers submit the form correctly)
<input type="file" name="properties[Uploaded Image]" class="custom-upload" />
The resulting file will be uploaded to Shopify and will be accessible to you through the order in the Shopify admin. Your customers will be bound by whatever limits Shopify enforces regarding file sizes, which from a quick Google search looks to be set at 20MB currently.
NB: If your theme uses Javascript to submit your product form, it may or may not be compatible with file inputs out-of-the-box. Many simple stay-on-page features assume that all of the form data can be treated as text, so would ignore your file field. Here's an answer to a similar question where I tried to provide some ideas on how you could get around this problem: https://stackoverflow.com/a/58271610/2592369

BigCommerce Edit Finishorder.php page for custom stencil theme

We designed and developed a custom theme for BigCommerce using Stencil for a client.
After an order is submitted, the finishorder.php page is shown. I've attached a screenshot. We cannot find a way to modify this page. I know the checkout.php can't be edited other than targeting CSS, is the same true for finishorder.php? By default its showing base pricing. The customers' products use options to create the final price, so products appear cheaper than they actually are after a checkout. We would also like to style the buttons and modify the block listing the products that "Customers also liked" to match the rest of the theme.
Screenshot from Finishorder.php page
It is possible for BigCommerce staff to enable an editable checkout (checkout_express.html) and thank you for your order screen (order.html). This will appear under Design Options > More > Template Files and be accessible through WebDAV.

Shopify: Change metafields for store

My problem is that when you login on my store - you (not necessarily registered) could add your e-mail and other information.
In this topic:
https://ecommerce.shopify.com/c/shopify-apps/t/allowing-a-customer-to-edit-their-profile-and-metadata-186665
I see that there is a possibility to change the metafields of the customer.
But I need to change the metafields of the store.
Does someone know where to find a list of requests or is there any options to change Metafields?
If you, as somebody with admin access to the store, needs to manually set or modify metafields on your store and either don't want to (or cannot) use a custom app to do so:
Get the (free) ShopifyFD extension for your browser (Link to the extension on the Chrome store)
Log in to your store and go to the 'Settings' (gear icon)
Click ShopifyFD's green '+' icon in your browser to load the extension on the page. You should now see your store metafields appear
You can now add metafields by filling in the boxes, or select existing metafields to manually edit their values.
Note: Metafields that are set by any of the apps that your are using should generally not be edited manually - changing an auto-generated field could really confuse the app that relies on it!

BigCommerce Add Products To Cart API

I'm just setting up my first BigCommerce store, and I'd like to know if I can use their API to add products to a shopper's cart and forward them to the checkout page programmatically?
The problem I'm trying to solve is creation of bundles of products in the store. I need to have each product in a bundle show up as a separate line item and sku on the order, but BigCommerce does not natively support this. The next best thing I can think of is to send the user to a specially crafted php page that will add the constituent parts to their cart, then forward them to the checkout page.
Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there a simple way to do this that I've missed?
You can use the Cart api to
- Create cart
https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/v3/cart.html#post-carts
and use the created cart id to
Generate cart URL
https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/v3/cart.html#post-carts-cartid-redirect_urls
Then you can move the user to this url
