Hi I have begun to use the package for some very simple tasks, mainly cloning a Git-Wiki repo and subsequently pulling the changes from the server when needed.
Now I can not see any methods corresponding to the Task-Async (TAP) pattern. Also in the documentation I could not find anything concerning.
Could you please give me some direction how to wrap the LibGit2Sharp methods into a TAP construct? Link to documentation (if I missed something) or just telling me which callback to hook up to the TaskCompletionSource object would be nice.
It also doesn't really help that I am a newbie with Git, and normally I only do basic branching, merging, pushing with it.

First of all, you should never try sync over async or async over sync. See this article.
If you're thinking of using Task.Run, don't. That will just trade on thread pool thread for another with the added cost of 2 context switches.
But you should reconsider your whole approach to this. You don't need to clone the repository just to get the contents of a file. Each version of a file, has a unique URL. You can even get the URL of a file for a specific branch.

Background:
I'm building an SPA (Single Page Application) PWA (Progressive Web App) using Vue.js. I've a remote PostgreSQL database, serving the tables over HTTP with PostgREST. I've a working Workbox Service Worker and IndexedDB, which hold a local copy of the database tables. I've also registered some routes in my service-worker.js; everything is fine this far....
I'm letting Workbox cache GET calls that return tables from the REST service. For example:
https://www.example.com/api/customers will return a json object of the customers.

At this point, I need Workbox to do the stale-while-revalidate pattern, but to:
Not use a cache, but instead return the local version of this table, which I have stored in IndexedDB. (the cache part)
Make the REST call, and update the local version, if it has changed. (the network part)
I'm almost certain that there is no configurable option for this in this workbox strategy. So I would write the code for this, which should be fairly simple. The retrieval of the cache is simply to return the contents of the requested table from IndexedDB. For the update part, I'm thinking to add a data revision number to compare against. And thus decide if I need to update the local database.
Anyway, we're now zooming in on the actual question:

Is this actually a good way to use Workbox Routes/Caching, or am I now misusing the technology because I use IndexedDB as the cache?

How can I make my own version of the StaleWhileRevalidate strategy? I would be happy to understand how to simply make a copy of the existing Workbox version and be able to import it and use it in my Vue.js Service Worker. From there I can make my own necessary code changes.
To make this question a bit easier to answer, these are the underlying subquestions:
First of all, the StaleWhileRevalidate.ts (see link below) is a .ts (TypeScript?) file. Can (should) I simply import this as a module? I propably can. but then I get errors:
When I to import my custom CustomStaleWhileRevalidate.ts in my main.js, I get errors on all of the current import statements because (of course) the workbox-core/_private/ directory doesn't exist.
How to approach this?

I don't think using the built-in StaleWhileRevalidate strategy is the right approach here. It might be possible to do what you're describing using StaleWhileRevalidate along with a number of custom plugin callbacks to override the default behavior... but honestly, you'd end up changing so much via plugins that starting from scratch would make more sense.
What I'd recommend that you do instead is to write a custom handlerCallback function that implements exactly the logic you want, and returns a Response.

You could do this without Workbox as well, but if you're using Workbox to handle some of your unrelated caching needs, it's probably easiest to also register this logic via a Workbox route.
I'm trying to make my online bot undetectable. I read number of articles how to do it and I took all tips together and used them. One of them is to change window.navigator.webdriver.
I managed to change window.navigator.webdriver within puppeteer by this code:

Try this,
First, remove the definition, it will not work if you define and delete from prototype.

Why does it work?
Removing directly just remove the instance of the object rather than the actual definition. The getter and setter is still there, so browser can find it.
However if you remove from the actual prototype, it will not exist at all in any instance anymore.
Additional Tips
You mentioned you want to make your app undetectable, there are many plugins which achieve the same, for example this package called puppeteer-extra-plugin-stealth includes some cool anti-bot detection techniques. Sometimes it's better to just reuse some packages than to re-create a solution over and over again.

it sounds like a stupid question and maybe I'm just blocked by whatever ... Using the new NIO2 of Java I can perfectly track the occurrance of new files, I can parse them and send the content so somewhere. But I have no glue how I can easily track the update and read the new stuff only ....

You track the update by watching the parent directory for ENTRY_MODIFY.
Now for the bad news: Nothing in the Java in API tells you what is new.
To learn about the new stuff you can use several methods e.g.
a) keep a copy of interesting files and send the diff
b) use a wrapping filesystem that hooks into writing and sends from there

And everytime I try to publish it and enter the given link I get the error "Unknown macro doGet". I know this is a common problem when somebody doesn't use doGet() function but I do - and it still doesn't work. I also believe that Google should create a thorought documentation on Google Apps Script, which would work the way the Unix manual does, since I just cannot get through all these strange pages of goddamn help :) It's neither a Windows help, nor a good manual ;)

I have a suspicion that you made a "version" once, published the app, went to the "real" link and not the "development" link, and then added the doGet() function. When you make a version, it freezes the code at that time. The version that the app is published at is the version of the code that will run at the "real" link (what you give users), which allows you to keep editing the code without disturbing existing users of your app. There is a special "development" link given to you in the publish dialog that always refers to the most recent version of the code, but which will only work for you and no one else.
I'm affraid there is a little misunderstanding on your side concerning the use of the 'doGet()' function. When you want to run an application as a webapp, the doc says indeed that it must contain a doGet function but what it doesn't say explicitely is that this function is supposed to be the starting point of the whole app, ie the function that the url will call in the first place. So it doesn't make much sense to have the doGet function called from a so called "main" function since the "main" function is not the main function...
I cannot imagine right now a situation where some function calls the doGet function since every function in the script is called initially (directly or indirectly) from this doGet function.... in fact the 'end' of any other function in the script 'returns' to the doGet initial function. Well this is maybe not absolutely true in every case but it gives you the general idea about how it works.
I'm hoping this is clear enough and, to return to your code snippet, if you remove the doGet(e) call, it will ideed show a nice "I love Apps Script!" but it will never do anything else, certainly not see the "main" function.

Only thing I can think of is there is something else in your code not copied into the snippet that is throwing the exception.

Thank you both for help. Serge, yes, it's really not obvious what the structure of Google Apps Scripts should be. They are based on JavaScript, however, due to lack of HTML in the code they have completely different flow - so naturally, there has to be a main function which is executed first. And of course in every programming environment it has to have a different name to make it more distinguishable ;-)
I created a new copy of my application, not changing the code completely - deployed it and it works beautifuly. Since I haven't changed anything in access options, it's quite strange that two applications with the same code and the same options don't give the same result. I think it may be a kind of the environment flaw, maybe someone from Google should look at this :)

Currently I am struggling with a Entity Framework issue. I have a wcf service that sits on top of the ef framework, and allows queries to the framework. At some point the user is able to request a file from the framework. The files are referenced by solution entries, so when you request a file from a solution, the reference is loaded to gain access to the file store.
That all works fine, but from that point onward, whenever you do another query that returns that solution entry, the whole file gets attached to the return result. I need some way of detaching or unloading the reference, such that the result entries will only contain an unloaded reference to the file store again.
I have tried to create a new context and query that context to retrieve information from, but when I do that, the entity in the original context is also changed.
I have tried to detach the entity from the original context and then query from the new context. That does not work either.
I have found one way of doing this. For all the non file-download queries, I detach the result entity, and send that over the wire. I am not sure if that is the best way to go about it though.
I hope someone might be able to provide some insight, thanks for the effort.
The issue you are experiencing is probably do to Change Tracking, which is on by default.
Possible Solution:
Disable Change Tracking with MergeOption.NoTracking

I struggled with a similar issue recently. The problem was the result of the context maintaining a reference to the object I was using (obviously). Every time I made a change to an object of the same type, even when obtained with a new context (so I thought), the object was being changed.
With help from one of my peers, we determined the context was hanging around due to the way I was registering it with my IoC container (lifestyle per web request). When I changed the lifestyle to transient (which definitively provided a new instance) then changes to objects of the same type were unaffected.
