MS Access/SQL--Transitioning Columns to Rows for Dynamic Data - sql

I have a document list that is updated periodically. The list may have up to 5 associated doc numbers associated with it. I need to generate a report that will have the primary document listed and the other 'sub documents' listed as well.
I basically need a table as show in the picture. I attempted a UNION, but if the data is dynamic, I would also continually need to update the query.
Any help or direction with this concept would be greatly appreciated.

I do not see other solution but read the recordset row by row and insert the data into new table. PIVOT would not work in this case.

PowerApps filter returning incomplete data record...?

I have an Azure SQL database, and my records inside table Spiderfood_RITMData in that database includes 13 different fields. Lots of stuff. I have confirmed in SQL-SMS that the records have data in each field.
There are way more items in the database than PowerApps can see using LOOKUP (1600-9000 records or more). However, I know FOR A FACT that there is only ONE record that has any given value in the NUMBER column. It's not a primary key, but it is unique in the table.
In PowerApps, I am trying to pull that field so that I can eventually parse out the individual items.
So, the commands I'm trying are:
ClearCollect(MLE_test1, Filter('Spiderfood_RITMData', "RITM2170467" in Number));
ClearCollect(MLE_test2, Search('Spiderfood_RITMData',"RITM2170467", "Number"));
However, the Collection results for MLE_test1 and MLE_test2 both are empty EXCEPT for the value of NUMBER. Say what?!
I'm trying to use the examples posted on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-filter-lookup but I am honestly getting baffled by this.
How should I be formatting this call such that I can pull the whole record?
Big picture explanation: I need to do a lot of data LOOKUPS into my table Spiderfood_RITMData table, but it has way more than 2000 rows, and PowerApps will not perform the Lookup correctly. So my presumably smart idea is to create a MUCH SMALLER "version" of Spiderfood_RITMData as a local collection, using a more delegateable function (such as FILTER or IN). If I filter by all records containing the values of NUMBER, then I go from, say a 10,000-record SQL table to a 10-record Collection. And I can do LOOKUPS against that collection for the rest of the function (uh, I think -- I'm still trying to experiment accordingly). Please let me know if this is crazy or not.
LookUp is just used to get one record, instead try this:
ClearCollect(MLE_test1, Filter('Spiderfood_RITMData', "RITM2170467" = Number));
This gets a collection with all the items where Number is = to "RITM2170467"
Collections are limited to only 2000 records in each collections.
I had same issue. Go to App settings. Under Upcoming Features make sure Explicit column selection is turned off. Hope this does it for you.

How do I insert a table into a cell using word vba or a table within a table?

I am new on VBA, I am creating a script to generate a report from a DB, I have been able to assemble a general draft of my report but I need to insert a table into an existing cell inside a word document, I have been surfing around but I am unable either to do a websearch with the correct terms in order to find some guidance on how to achieve this, If I am able to do it with my mouse I am sure I am able to do it through scripting, any resources that would help me in the right direction will be deeply appreciated.
Ok I found a way, The secret is in the Range, to specify where do you want your nested table to be placed.
so, I am using Powershell so the syntax might vary a little
For creating the Table in the Document (assuming you already have a created document, if not you are missing that part which I am not going through since they already are several question/answer pairs on that subject).
$TableX = $oDoc.Tables.Add($oDoc.Bookmarks("TableX").Range, 4, 3)
So TableX is our actual table, then we are telling word to use the helper method on the oDoc (Which is the name of our document object) to add a table, with a Bookmark named TableX (I will again not do a large explanation on this one, just for practical purposes, we name the Bookmark so we can reference to the table by Bookmark name later if we need to add data to it or manipulate it in any way we need) and at the same time we are calling to the method Range which is going to tell the Document Object where do we want the table to be placed, since we have not defined the range explicitly it will insert it in the next available line on the document,
Finally we specify how many rows and columns we would like in the table.
That is what we need for creating a table, now the tricky part, how do we insert a nested table, and moreover how do we specify where do we want this second table to be nested.
Well, with this:
$oNestedTable = $oDoc.Tables.Add($TableX.Cell(4, 2).Range,7,3)
We name our nested table oNestedTable, then we are calling the same helper method we called before to add a new table to the document, but wait, look carefully at the differences, the range part of the command is pointing to a specific cell on in our first table, that is in the fourth row within the second cell, it is there where we are explicitly telling the document to insert a new table with 7 rows and 3 columns.
I hope this gives you some bare minimum guidance.

Set order of rows in Pivot Table with VBA

I am currently using a Pivot table which is linked to several tables in other sheets in a workbook. However I need to the rows to be ordered as per the Hierarchy I determine when I enter the data. I have the position number in one of the source tables but need to use that data to set the position within the pivot table using some VBA code. I'm not sure if this is possible so any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Unable to sort SSRS report in Excel

I need to figure out a way to fix an issue our customers having while exporting SSRS report to Excel. The report successfully gets exported to Excel, but is not sortable. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Here is a screenshot of what the report structure looks like in Excel (I have deleted all the data from report to upload it here). In SSRS, I am not combining two columns or anything. All that is done in stored proc.
Let me know if I need to include additional information!
Screenshot:
This is a common problem with SSRS. Your header cells overlap your table columns, likely in an uneven manner, causing entire columns of your table to be merged cells between two columns.
A good solution is to add rows to the top of your table, and insert your header pieces in the table itself, so all alignment will be perfect and your table cells won't result in merging.

Updating information in an Access table linked to SharePoint

I have a table in Access linked to a SharePoint list. The table is comprised of about 15 fields whose contents are originally pulled from another data source (in Excel format). There are an additional 10 or so fields after the original 15 that make up a questionnaire (added via SharePoint) that contain answers to questions about the first 15 fields.
The data in the first 15 fields needs to be updated periodically when new data from my external source is available to download. A lot of the information will remain the same, however some of the fields within each of the rows will change and need to be updated. It is also important that the 10 fields that contain the questionnaire are not modified at all during this process.
Is there a way for me to easily update the cells that have changed using an Update query or something similar? The data does have a unique identifier column (ID NUMBER) that is present on the current SharePoint list and the external data source.
I was thinking from a logical standpoint to put the new external data into a table, find the ID Number in the SP list and new external data, compare the values in the rest of the row on the SP list to the row of the external data, and if a value is different update the cell with the value from the external data. Not sure how to accomplish this using Access queries though.
I really appreciate any help at all! If you need more information, please let me know. If you think there's a more logical way to do this, please let me know your feedback!!
Here's how to get started:

After you get the connection set up, it's just a matter of writing the queries correctly. If you need to run multiple queries periodically, you can setup a form with buttons, and attach some VBA code to the buttons that runs the queries.
