API to clean scanned documents - api

I have a system in PHP, and i will receive photos from users, that are scanned photos of their personal documents... and i want to smart remove (auto crop) the boundaries of the photos, to leave ONLY the personal document (as a drivers license).
I spent hours looking, but were not able to find an API service that does that...i ll i can find was SDK for ios or android...
Any one has a suggestion?
I would want to replicate what dropbox did:
https://blogs.dropbox.com/tech/2016/08/fast-and-accurate-document-detection-for-scanning/
Thanks

Filestack provides these services. In particular, the Document Detection endpoint has the following description:
You can detect your document in the image, transform it to fully fit the image...

How to use Google Street View Publish API to publish in video mode?

We are trying to develop a utility to upload GSV tours that consist of a series of 12K and 14K 360 photos shot along each route. The GPS data is recorded with a GPS logger. For efficiency, we would like to convert each tour/series into a video and upload it using the Google Street View Publish API. We've found where it explains the metadata track (camm) required for the video. However, We have searched the API documentation and cannot seem to find where it explains how to upload the actual videos. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Best practice for bulk uploading to Street View Publish API?

We're currently in the process of recording 1fps time-lapsed 4k 360 photos of every island in the Bahamas, with embedded GPS EXIF data. An average hour of filming tends to produce around 600 image frames, which can easily expand to 2000-10,000 images per day on bigger routes. 2000 or so are approved on Google Maps already, but we're hitting a larger brick wall.
The Street View app is obviously the best way to upload when you have 50-100 image files, but it obviously struggles when it starts to hit over 500+ uploads in a batch (publishing doesn't start, or the app crashes), so we're left manually submitting collections. Add that to the standard 4000/day quota, and it's quite a challenge.
Having looked at the Publish API, it's rather tricky to leave a CLI tool running as it's designed with OAuth flow in mind with 1hr access tokens. The service account route seems to the way to go, but the PHP API client seems to have scant documentation for SV Publishing. Connecting photos is also tricky with that many images.
We ideally need a desktop uploader (like the backup tool), or a way to directly import from folders in Google Drive. The first seems discontinued, and there's no data on the second.
Can anyone explain or elucidate on the best practice for this kind of volume upload with the Street View publishing service?
Since you are only capturing 4K images, it will be much simpler to use video mode, depending on if your camera supports it at the desired framerate. You may check this documentation for more information.
Additional information:
You may also check out some of the desktop utilities at the bottom of the Street View website which may be able to help.
You may want to consider one of the Street View ready cameras (also listed on the above webpage) that is capable of recording and uploading 360 videos to Street View. Upon publication, the 360 photo frames are extracted from the video and used to create an automatically connected Street View experience on Google Maps.
Check these pages to learn more about this option:

Upload and share image on Google+

I can't seem to find any documentation or reference on upload and sharing images on Google+.
Is this action current supported in google+?
Their moment sharing seems to accept thumbnail url, but I don't want to keep the image hosted on my site once it is created and shared by visitor.
You have a few different options, but I'm not sure any of them are really what you're looking for.
Google+ doesn't really allow outside apps to upload and share something automatically.
As you've observed, the closest you can get is generating a Moment for them to share. And while there are similarities to Instant Upload, it isn't identical. You could probably use a data url to encode and store the image as part of the moment, but I haven't tested this.
Another alternative is to use the Google Drive API to store the image in their Drive space, permit the image to be read publicly, get a link for it, and use this link as the thumbnail URL. Similarly, you might be able to use the Picasa Web Albums Data API to store the image. Both have good, but different, integration with Google+. The former is more modern, while the latter has more features that are tailored for images.

Sharing on Google+ with big image (photo sharing, perhaps)?

I'm currently working on a Google Hangouts app that, among other things, features posting links to certain pages on the user's Google+ page.
Because the shared content is mainly a visual thing (dynamically generated images, to be precise), I have been looking at ways of having the post
on user's stream display a big, full-width picture, essentially an effect similar to one visible here (disclaimer: I do not endorse the company linked in any way, it was simply one of the first examples I have found of the look).
Now, I've read through Google+ documentation on Share Button and Snippets about ways to have sharing from a single click and customisation of the content that comes with the link, but visually, the attached thumbnail is somewhat smaller than what I'd find ideal for the task (as visible ).
The example of a big picture display was tied to the photo sharing functionality, so I've looked at Google+ API, to see if there's a way to automate it, but as stated on the API docs landing page, "The Google+ API currently provides read-only access to public data.". No ability to pursue the goal through the official channels then.
Next step, GitHub. There are some sites for which the wrappers around their internal communication have been written, thus creating sort of unofficial API, so I tried my luck there. Among various libraries, I have found one that was not a wrapper around an official API, google-plus-extension-jsapi, but being written for the context of Chrome extensions rather than webpages, I couldn't get it to work, mainly due to usage of WebSQL and cross-domain XMLHTTPRequests.
Without any further leads, I ask the community thus - is there any way for a webpage app to provide the user with the ability to share a full-width picture on their Google+ stream or am I limited to standard sharing thumbnails?
I will confirm, you can not do what you're trying to do using the Google+ API because there is no stream write API and you do not have control over how shares will render.
As you have already determined, you can not write posts, such as a picture, directly to a user's stream, without the user's interaction (e.g. share). For branded pages, there is the Pages API, but it is currently not public and would be restricted to Pages as opposed to People/Profiles.
You can generate a share link to an external image and then if the user clicks it, the image can appear in their stream. As you noticed, the image will be a small thumbnail as opposed to a full-bleed photo and will render as a share - undesirable if you want the image to fill the whole stream area.

How can I use Appstore API to get top100 list? What is the common architecture to build a appstore application website?

I've found a PDF file of Appstore search API, that I can use some parameters to fetch an application's detail information.(sorry I forgot the download url, but I found it in stackoverflow)
But there are so many sites that show you a Top100 list(like appshopper.com), and such as Mobclix.com also provide you the rank information. How can they do that? I didn't find the related API in the PDF file.
I also found an Appstore API by ABTO(http://www.abtollc.com/AppStoreAPI.aspx), but I really wanna do it by myself.
If I clear the 1st question, then I'd like to know the common architecture of building a website based on the appstore data. Do I need a database to cache the appstore's data, and create a batch to fetch the data frequently, execute like once per hour? I think it might not be clever to access the appstore for every user request, and may be there is a access limit of appstore?
Thanks for your help!
You can use the following link to generate a url for querying iTunes Data for things like the top 100 apps in a particular category.
http://itunes.apple.com/rss/generator/
For the top 100 free productivity apps the generated url is
http://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStoreServices.woa/ws/RSS/topfreeapplications/sf=143441/limit=100/genre=6007/xml
The PDF that you link to is very old and hasn't been updated in quite some time, but even if you did get that working, it doesn't have "Top 100" selections (to my knowledge).
1.The way people do to get information from the AppStore is to parse the Xml returned from ITunes web call, and get the information they want. There's no official api release from apple.
You may be right, its more clever to save a copy of app information on your server.
