I want to change the ui based on device type like mobile,tablets and iPad. Is there any best practice to achieve this in react native.
Well, it really depends on what you're trying to achieve.
There are two options that you can consider:
1) Use a library like react-native-device-info to detect if the device is a tablet or a mobile phone. If you're intending to have completely separate features for tablets vs mobile devices, you could render specific components depending on the device type.
2) Write style sheets/ component styles to scale to any device size. You should be doing this anyway but if you are not wanting specific features for specific devices types, this is the correct way to do it.

First and most important: I am by no means a developer. We hired an agency to develop an APP for us, and i was given by a developed solution that i am not convinced if it is the best solution, So i would like to ask you guysfor advice.

All items appear to have fixed sizes applyed to them: When testing the app on different devices, the size of the elements is not responsive at all. In fact on small devices (Moto G5) There are elements that fall behind the bottom navigation bar making them unaccessible.
Lot of stuff fall below that said bottom navigation bar.
My question is the following:
Is react native responsive?
In web development there is a lot of flexibility when it comes to responsiveness with CSS and JS. Is React native any different? or there is a way to prepare the layout so it fits most of the common sizes without losing acces to interactions?

I am very new to programming and I am currently using react native to make android applications. Now I am just testing out my code in my own physical smartphone. I want to know if it is more apt to use '%' unit in dimensions to properly scale apps in different phone sizes.
It depends upon your UI like how your UI is look like, But general approach is use react native default view property like flex, flexbox which have different property as per your UI so it will scale your UI in any point upto 99% of devices. Some of devices may very depend on resolution and screen height so for that you can use % in width and height but remember only specific condition not every where .

I've got an application in React Native to be developed in Android and iOS, in which I'd like to take the camera stream, make some processing, and render it multiple times.
Imagine an app like Instagram, in which you can add filters to the camera live and it shows the applied filters with on live previews. It would be more or less the same.
I need to get the camera stream and be able to show it on screen multiple times.
I've tried react-native-camera, but it only lets me to get one instance of the camera to be shown.
With this same library, I've tried to take pictures in intervals of the camera and to render them via <Image> container but, of course, it's a performance kill and the app ends up crashing.
How can I achieve what I'm trying to do? Do you know of any module or any approach that allows me to do so?

I am very new to Xcode and so as with auto layouts and i want to make my app which i've created, adaptive in a very easy way. I have seen lots of tutorials on internet but nothing helped me with my app. so i don't know how to make my app adaptive. so i need a help.
I have made an app that generate report in second view controller after providing inputs in first view controller.so i need to see how can i use auto layouts in my respective app to make it adaptive or there any easy way to get the results. i have seen all the videos related to it.

The best way is to use Auto Layout and Size Classes. This way your app will work with all iPhone sizes and all iPads. It will also behave correctly in portrait and landscape.

I have implemented iphone application using Titanium..But I want to convert in to android application.

Understand How iPhone works and Android works. Compare them in terms
of working model and OS Architecture. This will purely give you more idea on how to make an real Android App... else you would end up cloning your iPhone feel to Android again.
List out all the components i have used in iPhone and check out the
similar component available for me to replace. { For instance,
TableView has a delete option for iPhone and not for Android }
I would remove the back button implemented in iPhone and check how i
can move between windows with the Android BackKey.
Styles and Animation i have used in iPhone will not be the same for
Android. I think they don't have full supported ones too.
For example: style:Titanium.UI.iPhone.ActivityIndicatorStyle.BIG,
maybe you experience some performance differences depending on your implementation since the javascript engine is not the same. if so, you maybe need to restructure your app to ensure a performance enhancement.
