Postman: Check date equals yesterdays date - testing

I'm running a GET request using Postman and the JSON response is below:
{
"Version": "1.0.524.0",
"BuildName": "Live",
"BuildDate": "04/12/2018 18:58:50.85 \r\n"
}
The build date increments by one each day and I want to write a script to check the date has been incremented and if it hasn't then its a failed test.
Currently I have this:
pm.test("Check Build Date", function (CheckDate) {
pm.expect(pm.response.text()).to.include("04/12/2018 18:58:50.85");
});
However I know if I run this script tomorrow it won't work and I will get the following error:
FAIL Check Build Date | AssertionError: expected '{"Version":"1.0.524.0","BuildName":"Live","BuildDate":"05/12/2018 18:58:50.85 \\r\\n"}' to include '04/12/2018 18:58:50.85'
Can anybody assist, please?

If your response body is an object, like in your question, you can use pm.response.json().BuildDate and check that it equals that value.
pm.test("Check Build Date", () => {
pm.expect(pm.response.json().BuildDate).to.equal("04/12/2018 18:58:50.85 \r\n");
});
Not sure why you have those \r\n values in string on that response, they seem in the wrong place to me.
To know that the day has incremented by 1, you would need to store the state of the last run and do a check against that. You could be that with setting it as an environment variable.
Send an initial request to get and set the BuildDate. You will now have that value to use in a Check request.
pm.environemnt.set('lastBuildDate', pm.response.json().BuildDate)
In the check request, you could have something like this:
const moment = require('moment')
let dateDiff = moment(pm.reponse.json().BuildDate).isAfter(pm.environment.get('lastBuildDate'))
pm.test("Check Build Date", () => {
pm.expect(dateDiff).to.be.true
})
If you just want something that checks if the BuildDate is the after the time that that you are making the request - You could use something like this:
const moment = require('moment')
let dateNow = moment().format("DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss.SS")
let dateDiff = moment(pm.response.json().BuildDate).isAfter(dateNow)
pm.test("Check Build Date", () => {
pm.expect(dateDiff).to.be.true
})
This is obviously not what you want to do but I would suggest taking a look at the momentjs module as see if that is something in there that you can use for your use case.

Gatling use session.set and feed simultaneously

If I use .get("/***/quotes-${endPoint}/quotes?source=rtbp&userid=test&symbol=${pTypeSymbol}${authM}${pEqSymbol}") then ${pEqSymbol} work but
${pTypeSymbol} will be ${pEqSymbol} it's incorrect example of get it should be in code below
val getApiKeyScenario = scenario("getApiKey")
.feed(getApiKeyData)
.feed(pEqSymbolFeed)
.feed(pOptionSymbol)
.feed(pOtherSymbol)
.exec(session => session
.set("endPoint", "v1")
.set("pTypeSymbol", "${pEqSymbol}")
.set("authM", "&apikey=***********"))
.exec(http("getApiKeyRequest")
.get("/******/quotes-${endPoint}/quotes?source=rtbp&userid=test&symbol=${pTypeSymbol}${authM}")
.check(status.is(200))
.check(checkIf(doLogResponse) {
bodyString.saveAs("pResponse")
})
)
.doIf(doLogResponse) {
logResponse()
}
If I try .set("pTypeSymbol", pEqSymbolFeed.readRecords.head("pEqSymbol")) will be loop
If I try .set("pTypeSymbol", s"${pEqSymbol.isDefined}") not found: value pEqSymbol
If I try s"${pEqSymbol}" not found: value pEqSymbol
I logs now is GET *******/quotes-v1/quotes?source=rtbp&userid=test&symbol=${pEqSymbol}&apikey=******
But should be GET *******/quotes-v1/quotes?source=rtbp&userid=test&symbol="Here my value from feed"&apikey=******
Please read the official documentation:
This Expression Language only works on String values being passed to Gatling DSL methods. Such Strings are parsed only once, when the Gatling simulation is being instantiated.
For example queryParam("latitude", session => "${latitude}") wouldn’t work because the parameter is not a String, but a function that returns a String.
In your example, you don't need to copy pEqSymbol into pTypeSymbol, you can directly write:
.exec(session => session
.set("endPoint", "v1")
.set("authM", "&apikey=***********"))
.exec(http("getApiKeyRequest")
.get("/******/quotes-${endPoint}/quotes?source=rtbp&userid=test&symbol=${pEqSymbol}${authM}")
)
)
But if you insist on copying, you have to use the Session API:
.set("pTypeSymbol", session("pEqSymbol").as[String])

Vue.js Nuxt - cannot access Array (value evaluated upon first expanding error)

I have the following function which gives me an array called URLs
const storageRef = this.$fire.storage.ref().child(fileName)
try {
const snapshot = storageRef.put(element).then((snapshot) => {
snapshot.ref.getDownloadURL().then((url) => {
urls.push(url)
})
})
console.log('File uploaded.')
} catch (e) {
console.log(e.message)
}
});
console.log(urls)
console.log("about to run enter time with imageurls length " + urls.length)
When I run console.log(URLs) initially I do see the array like the following
[]
0: "testvalue"
length: 1
__proto__: Array(0)
However, there is a small information icon stating
This value was evaluated upon first expanding. The value may have changed since.
Because of this, when I try to get the length of URLs, I get zero, meaning the value is being updated.
Does anyone know what's happening? I am using Vue.JS/Nuxt.

How to pass an array as a parameter to statementExecPromisified(statement,[]) function of sap-hdbext-promisfied in nodejs?

I have an array of users as below
let usersarr = ["'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC','SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_DEF'"]
I want to fetch data about the above users(if exists) from Hana database. I am using sap-hdbext-promisfied library in node.js.
My database connection is working fine. So, I am trying to execute a select query as below
async function readUsers(xsaDbConn){
try{
let usersarr = ["'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC','SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_DEF'"]
const checkuserexiststatement = await xsaDbConn.preparePromisified("SELECT USER_NAME FROM USERS WHERE USER_NAME IN (?)")
let checkuserexistresult = await xsaDbConn.statementExecPromisified(checkuserexiststatement, [usersarr])
console.log(checkuserexistresult)
return checkuserexistresult
}catch(err){
console.log(err)
return;
}
}
Below is the output I get
PS C:\Users\Documents\XSA\SAC_POC\cap_njs> npm start
> cap_njs#1.0.0 start C:\Users\Documents\XSA\SAC_POC\cap_njs
> node server.js
myapp is using Node.js version: v12.18.3
myapp listening on port 3000
[]
I get an empty array object as output. This is not the expected output, instead it should provide details about the users as they exist in the database.
The above code works when I provide single user value instead of multiple users in an array as shown below
async function readUsers(xsaDbConn, tempxsahdbusers){
try{
let usersarr = 'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC'
const checkuserexiststatement = await xsaDbConn.preparePromisified("SELECT USER_NAME FROM USERS WHERE USER_NAME IN (?)")
let checkuserexistresult = await xsaDbConn.statementExecPromisified(checkuserexiststatement, [usersarr])
console.log(checkuserexistresult)
return checkuserexistresult
}catch(err){
console.log(err)
return;
}
}
Output Of Above Code -
PS C:\Users\Documents\XSA\SAC_POC\cap_njs> npm start
> cap_njs#1.0.0 start C:\Users\Documents\XSA\SAC_POC\cap_njs
> node server.js
myapp is using Node.js version: v12.18.3
myapp listening on port 3000
[ 'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC' ]
So, why is it giving an empty array object when I provide an array as a parameter instead of a variable? Is it possible to provide an array as a parameter to the function statementExecPromisified(statement, []) of sap-hdbext-promisfied library in node.js ?
Your
let usersarr = ["'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC','SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_DEF'"]
has exactly one value, the String:
"'SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_ABC','SAC_XSA_HDB_USER_DEF'"
When passing the userarr in the statementExecPromisified function as a parameter you are actually passing a nested array in an array. You could either try
xsaDbConn.statementExecPromisified(checkuserexiststatement, [usersarr[0]])
or separate the values in the userarr and add multiple ? in the prepared statement and reference each single value with userarr[x].

Been working with paypal php sdk for some days now and my code stop working.
So i went back to basic and i am still getting the same damn error.
I am trying to create a plan for subscription but getting the following error:
"NotifyUrl is not a fully qualified URL"
I have no idea how to fix this as i dont use NotfifyUrl in my code?
Could be really nice if anyone had an idea how to fix this problem :)
Thanks
PayPal did a update to their API last night which has caused problem within their SDK.
They are sending back null values in their responses.
I MUST stress the error is not on sending the request to PayPal, but on processing their response.
BUG Report : https://github.com/paypal/PayPal-PHP-SDK/issues/1151
Pull Request : https://github.com/paypal/PayPal-PHP-SDK/pull/1152
Hope this helps, but their current SDK is throwing exceptions.
Use below simple fix.
Replace below function in vendor\paypal\rest-api-sdk-php\lib\PayPal\Api\MerchantPreferences.php
public function setNotifyUrl($notify_url)
{
if(!empty($notify_url)){
UrlValidator::validate($notify_url, "NotifyUrl");
}
$this->notify_url = $notify_url;
return $this;
}
If you get the same error for return_url/cancel_url, add the if condition as above.
Note: This is not a permanent solution, you can use this until getting the update from PayPal.
From the GitHub repo for the PayPal PHP SDK, I see that the error you mentioned is thrown when MerchantPreferences is not given a valid NotifyUrl. I see you're setting the CancelUrl and ReturnUrl, but not the NotifyUrl. You may simply need to set that as well, i.e.:
$NotifyUrl = (some url goes here)
$obj->setNotifyUrl($NotifyUrl);
Reason behind it!
error comes from.
vendor\paypal\rest-api-sdk-php\lib\PayPal\Validation\UrlValidator.php
line.
if (filter_var($url, FILTER_VALIDATE_URL) === false) {
throw new \InvalidArgumentException("$urlName is not a fully qualified URL");
}
FILTER_VALIDATE_URL: according to this php function.
INVALID URL: "http://cat_n.domain.net.in/"; // IT CONTAIN _ UNDERSCORE.
VALID URL: "http://cat-n.domain.net.in/"; it separated with - dash
here you can dump your url.
vendor\paypal\rest-api-sdk-php\lib\PayPal\Validation\UrlValidator.php
public static function validate($url, $urlName = null)
{
var_dump($url);
}
And then check this here: https://www.w3schools.com/PHP/phptryit.asp?filename=tryphp_func_validate_url
you can check here what character will reason for invalid.

Thunderbird extension code not returning all the threads

I am using the below code and expecting to retrieve all the messages belonging to the same thread. However, it always returns only the selected message details. The message is already an hour old so indexing should be done. Also i tried this on multiple threads but same result. Please advise whats wrong here
this.query =
Gloda.getMessageCollectionForHeaders([msgHdr], {
onItemsAdded: function (aItems) {},
onItemsModified: function () {},
onItemsRemoved: function () {},
onQueryCompleted: function (aCollection) {
add("\t\t\t/---------------------------\\\n");
add("\t\t\t| vik Gloda results |\n");
add("\t\t\t\\---------------------------/\n\n");
add("Gloda found "+aCollection.items.length+" items\n");
// Iterator over the messages Gloda found...
for each (let [i, glodaMsg] in Iterator(aCollection.items)) {
add("This message is from: "+glodaMsg.from+"\n");
add("This message is to: "+glodaMsg.to+"\n");
add("This message is from lists: "+glodaMsg.mailingLists+"\n");
}
},
}, true)

See the last paragraph of https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird/Creating_a_Gloda_message_query?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Thunderbird%2FCreating_a_Gloda_message_query ; in your case, you need to launch a second query by doing glodaMsg.conversation.getMessageCollection. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Thunderbird/Gloda_examples?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Thunderbird%2FGloda_examples has a bigger example.
