Ionic 3 - Load translation from API URL - api

I'm actually working on a mobile app with Ionic 3, everything is ok till now. Eveything work fine. I set translation with ngx-translate. So i got all my files in a folder "/assets/i18n/". I can call my data in templates or components so everything is ok.
But my client, wants that those translation files come from a web API. SO they can update them as they want. I searched here on found some things like this link "Ngx-translate - TranslateHttpLoader with external URL" ( I didn't want to answer this topic cause I don't have answer, just questions and as my profile is new I can't comment it )
I read all of this but i can't understand it perfectly so, i keep missing something, so please how can i create a custom loader for calling those translation file ?
I tried to create a provider/service but is that a specific kind of file for a loader ? Where to put it in my app ?
That's the last stop for my app to run. So please if someone know the answer can you help me a little bit with it ? I want to understand exactly how to call those json film from URL !
I can add more code if you want, but actually i got no error i just don't know how to create this "loader" from last topic. And where to put it.

Shopify Interact with product page HTML via app

We plan to create a Shopify app but we face some problems to find in documentations how to interact with pages.
I`m not sure we must ask every time users to add codes and etc, so I need to know if I miss something.
I need to interact with the product pages in Shopify from an app.
I search and read all the web for this and everything is how to start but not the actual examples.
I know for the ScriptTags and how to include them but that is.
If someone can give me a simple example of how for example to hide the Buy button and insert something on instead.
I know how to select it with the default theme with JQuery but what about all other themes?
There are two ways to interact with the front page:
1) Inject some code in the page ( the live one )
2) Use ScriptTag as you mentioned.
The code injection script will modify the product template for example and inject your code if you like to do this automatically or you can instruct the user to do so on their own, but if they are not code savvy there might be issues.
In addition this code will live only on the live theme in most cases. And if the user likes to delete your app at a specific time you must be sure to write the logic in such way that it won't affect the site if your app is no longer present ( since it will be really hard to clean up the files once you add the code automatically )
For this approach you will need to use the Asset API.
You will need to get the content of the file with a GET request to the file and make a put request in order to update it.
The better approach is to use ScriptTag API.
This will allow the use of a script file that will be attached on EVERY theme. This will not modify the theme files in any form or shape.
It seems that this is the approach that you are looking for.
Please have in mind that you will be the one hosting the file from your app so pretty much you can write what ever you like there. So if you like to use jQuery you must be sure that the themes have included jQuery or you will have to add the jQuery core code inside your script.
As for how to write a script tag, there is a pretty straightforward documentation here: https://help.shopify.com/en/api/reference/online-store/scripttag#create-2020-01

Splash issue with https://sailing-channels.com/by-subscribers

I'm attempting a scrapy-with-splash project to get a few fields off the website "https://sailing-channels.com/by-subscribers". This site uses java to retrieve and delete listings as you scroll.
I've not had any luck getting the splash server to give me the whole set of data, or any of the detailed listings for that mater.
My first question is can splash even do this?
I really don't care how I get this data. I would prefer doing it with a program but any tool that can get me fields from this site in an .csv file would do the job. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any advice
Why do you want render it? They have pretty good API, check https://sailing-channels.com/api/channels/get?sort=subscribers&skip=0&take=5&_=1548520116425. So you can iterate, increasing skip argument and parsing json each time.
Looks like very promising way.

Can't upload new product image backend prestashop

I need a little help here, i hope someone here can help me for a hint or clue.
First of all, I'm not programmer. I'm just web admin who can use cms and basic html.
I was using PrestaShop for my online shop. In the backend, I can't upload new product image anymore.
The error just blank without any sign for me. Here for the screenshot:
I appreciate it, if someone can help me, thanks, and sorry for my english.
#PanjiWiyono This errors don't really give us a quality information, but this is a start. In your JS code should be a ajax query that has an error when converting results to json (first error). You should check what's the exact error that this request is returning by inspecting in browser developer console.
If you detect that the second error is in fact, the response of this ajax query, well now we almost have the problem.
The second error should be related to data size. Check this: Error while sending QUERY packet
Anyway, you should check DbPDO.php class. You can use debug_backtrace function to display the complete stack, but definitly if error is related to a basic PHP class issue you will have not help knowing wich classes are in calling stack.
Good luck.
Simple solution
maybe a extra module is in a conflict with the prestashop core files. go to advanced parameters, performance and disable third party modules and try again.
other option is reupload admin folder with other name and
js folder check again
hope it will work for you

Joomla: Allowing a user to upload an image

Alright so I learned that to have an upload button on a page, what you do is basically call a php file (call is upload.php) that would upload a file to the server. I have no idea where I am supposed to put the php file inside the server so I can call it.
I feel stupid because I can't find any answers online. I am getting very frustrated and confused because I am told I need to create a database but I have no idea how to edit a database in Joomla. I took a class in SQL so I don't have to learn about that. I just don't know where it is. I was also told I need to make a component. But this is confusing because all I want to do is have an upload button that will upload an image to the server.
I understand your frustration. I've got the basic idea on what you are trying to do. Here are a couple of options:
You might wanna take a look at Joomla! Extensions Directory ™. You might just find there a component or a module that already does this for you.
If you want to do it on your own, than you need to create a small module or a component inside Joomla! Please refer to the Joomla! Documentation or tutorials on this topic. Please note that you won't get this working instantly, because you first need to understand how Joomla! works. So your upload.php file will go in your module / component files. I don't think you need to do any SQL.
Now the part with "allowing a user" is a bit confusing... you want to "allow" any user to upload things to your server or just let's say, registered users? Generally uploading scripts need to be very strong from the security point of view. If this is the case, that you need to do a search for Joomla! ACL
You can simply create a form and add the "media" field type.
http://docs.joomla.org/Standard_form_field_types
You can also opt for the "file" field types to allow different types of fields.
Both fields can be added using the Joomla Component Creator: http://www.notwebdesign.com/joomla-component-creator/
And you might also want to take a look at K2 which has an excellent image upload functionality that allows scaling of images into three different sizes.

Sending Data to JS Form from iOS App

The Red Cross has a locator page where you can submit a zip code by means of a form and that runs through a JSP to return contact information for your local Red Cross office.
From an iOS app, I have the user's zip code and would like to run this process and get that contact information back... or at least the appropriate URL to link to. I was hoping I could find some way to pass the zip code by URL but it doesn't look like it's going to be that easy.
Could anyone offer some direction as to how to go about this? I've done some simple things with forms before but I'm not quite sure where to start with this one.
According to the <form> action parameter, that's the URL you have to post your data to:
http://www.redcross.org//portal/site/en/template.MAXIMIZE/ziplocator/;jsessionid=MWwKPvjSWmvz8p4XrRtNLVL0VCTM7fcwfnFnKHpwRhJTnwLMMDcv!-1938881463!-1334769155?javax.portlet.tpst=2bd907ea326f7e9e934afa36c23f78a0_ws_MX&javax.portlet.prp_2bd907ea326f7e9e934afa36c23f78a0_viewID=result&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&vgnextoid=6d65e821cbdf9110VgnVCM1000002bf3870aRCRD
The field name is zipcode. The AFNetworking documentation is quite okay explaining how to send a POST request. I would also recommend the nsscreencasts series, he has an episode on AFNetworking as well.
I hope this helps. :)
You can use NSURLConnection to execute a post request and return the result, you may have to do some parsing of the result though depending on the format it is returned in.
Here is an example:
