How to configure org-mode in spacemacs - spacemacs

I did not know where to ask that question, so I am asking here.
I have trouble onfiguring org-mode (specficly org capture) in spacemacs.
In my .spacemacs file (in the fucntion dotspacemacs/user-init) I have added the following code :
(setq org-default-notes-file "~/Desktop/notes2.org")
(setq-default dotspacemacs-configuration-layers
'((org :variables org-projectile-file "~/Desktop/TODOs.org")))
But whene I press SPC a o c saves the "TODO" in ~/notes.org file and not in ~/Desktop/notes2.org.
Also it throws the following error message :
Error (use-package): org-projectile/:config: Symbol’s function definition is void: org-projectile:per-repo
Thanks in advance.

This is not your fault. It's a bug for which the fix has not been merged into master for a very long time (scroll to the buttom to see how people still confirm having the same problem):
https://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacs/issues/9374

One thing that you can do is use the develop branch of spacemacs. The bug is fixed and merged there, and the release is not that ¨unstable" as it may sound.

BG95 Can't Activate - AT+QIACT=1 returning error

I'm trying to get a BG95 to activate on hologram.
Here are my commands:
AT+QCFG="band",F,180A,180A OK
AT+QCFG="iotopmode",2 OK
AT+QCFG="nwscanseq",020301 OK
AT+QCFG="nwscanmode",0 OK
AT+QCFG="snrscan",0 OK
AT+QICSGP=1,1,"hologram","","",1 OK
AT+QIACT=1 ERROR
At first I thought it was antenna/signal related so I ran AT+CSQ and got this:
+csq: 11,99
This tells me I have a good signal I believe.
Next I tried AT+QNWINFO and get this:
+QNWINFO: "eMTC","311480","LTE BAND 13",5230
In my mind this is saying it's connected to a network.
After trying that I tried to activate again and got this:
AT+QIACT=1
ERROR
The weird thing is it activated just fine about a week ago with pure AT commands. I did try and use an Arduino library with it (WisLTEBG96TCPIP) which may have changed a setting in it. I've done a factory reset but the it still woln't activate.
Another strange thing is the hologram dashboard. Every once and a while it will show the SIM as connected, even though I can't activate.
I have tried with 2 different SIM cards any get the same activation error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Verizon has cut off all non ODI products. If your hardware has not been Verizon ODI 'certified' it will no longer be allow to be connected to their network, I have 5 new pet rocks thanks to them. The solution is to purchase new modems from vendors that have been through the Verizon ODI program or switch carriers.
I had the same problem before, after a lot of maling with network operator I find out that there isn't a LTE-CAT-M1 (eMTC) network in my area, I tested in another area successfully
Also before setting AT+QCFG commands try AT+CFUN = 0
and after setting AT+QCFG commands try AT+CFUN = 1 .
before sending AT+QIACT, try 'AT+CEREG?' command several times and tell me what is the return of it

debugging vxworks loadModule failure

I have a VxWorks Image Project project without a File-System on MPC5200B, using DIAB tool-chain.
I need to dynamically load a module from flash.
I allocated memory on my stack char myTemporaryModuleData[MAX_MODULE_SIZE]
and filled it with the module data from Flash.
(checked that the binary data is intact)
then i create a memDevice('/mem/mem01', myTemporaryModuleData, moduleReadLength)
open the psuedo-stream int fdModuleData = open("/mem/mem01", O_RDONLY, 777);
when i run int mId = loadModule(fdModuleData, LOAD_ALL_SYMBOLS);
did not see anything in the console after running loadModule();
but mId = 0 which indicates failure :(.
getErrno() returned 0x3D0004 (S_objLib_OBJ_TIMEOUT)
NOTE: it didn't take long at all to fail => timeout?
i tried replacing the module with a simple void foo() { printf(...); } module but still failes with same issue.
tried loading an .out instead of .o
unfortunately, nothing got me nowhere,
How can i know what caused it to fail? (log, last_error, anything i should check?)
FOUND IT.
Apparently, it was a mistake in the data read from the flash.
What I can contribute is that 'loadModule()' from memDrv device is possible and working.

pastebinit doesn't work correctly

The pastebinit in my system(Fedora 21 32-bit) doesn't work as expected, such as:
echo asdasdas | pastebinit
The output is:
http://fpaste.org/
nothing else, it should be something like http://fpaste.org/spdvsd right?
I didn't use pastebinit very much, I remembered that a long time ago, the same thing happened to to me once, and I didn't figure it out at that time either. But after I re-installed my whole system because of some other reason, pastebinit worked again.
So can anyone here tell me the reason???
The API had some changes since, try updating the pastebinit package to v1.5 or build it from the source : pastebinit-1.5.tar.gz

How to resolve this (disagrees about version of symbol) for example for (journal_restart)?

I try to modify Jbd Module.symvers and make versions of these functions of jbd the same as what is in /proc/kallsyms (for all symvers:ext3, root kernel directory and jbd), but when compiling it will be the same old value in jbd/Module.symvers (not seeable in jbd.mod.c). I've seen scripts/mod/modpost.c and there was no instance of those symbols (like journal_restart. I see a lot of disagree about version of .... and the next line this Unknown symbols... of that in disagree symbold in dmesg.
How can resolve this problem for example for (journal_restart)?
Thanks!

QuickFix Trouble - Repeating Groups

My fix engine keeps rejecting messages and I was hoping someone could help me figure out why... I'm receiving the following sample message:
8=FIXT.1.1 9=518 35=AE 34=4 1128=8 49=XXXXXXX 56=YYYYYYY 52=20130322-17:58:37 552=1 54=1 37=Z00097H4ON 11=NOREF 826=0 78=1 79=NOT SPECIFIED 80=100000.000000 5967=129776.520000 453=5 448=BCART6 452=3 447=D 448=BARX 452=1 447=D 448=BARX 452=16 447=D 448=bcart6 452=11 447=D 448=ABCDEFGHI 452=12 447=D 571=6611540 150=F 17=Z00097H4ON 32=100000.000000 38=100000.000000 15=EUR 1056=129776.520000 31=1.2977652 194=1.298120 195=-3.5480 64=20130409 63=W2 60=20130322-17:26:50 75=20130322 1057=Y 460=4 167=FOR 65=OR 55=EUR/USD 10=121
8=FIXT.1.1 9=124 35=3 34=4 49=XXXXXXX 52=20130322-17:58:37.917 56=YYYYYYY 45=4 58=Tag appears more than once 371=448 372=AE 373=13 10=216
But as you can see it's being rejected by the quickfix engine. I am using the 5.0sp1 data dictionary and have configured it in my config file:
[DEFAULT]
ConnectionType=initiator
HeartBtInt=30
ReconnectInterval=10
SocketReuseAddress=Y
FileStorePath=D:\XXX\Interface\ReutersStore
FileLogPath=D:\XXX\Interface\ReutersLog
[SESSION]
BeginString = FIXT.1.1
SenderCompID = XXXXX
TargetCompID= YYYYY
DefaultApplVerId = FIX.5.0
UseDataDictionary=Y
AppDataDictionary=FIX50SP1.xml
StartDay=sunday
StartTime=20:55:00
EndTime=06:05:00
EndDay=saturday
SocketConnectHost= A.B.C.D
SocketConnectPort= 123
Does anyone have any idea why the Engine would be rejecting this message? I know that quickfix is normally able to handle messages with repeating groups, is it a config thing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Your message seems to be in order. Try putting this in your config file.
ValidateFieldsOutOfOrder=N
Quickfix by default puts that as Y and the underlying structure storing the tab and field values is unable to see the count before. 453 > 448.
As a sidenote always check these fields. They should point you to the source of the problem.
58=Tag appears more than once
371=448
Maybe it's a shot in the dark, but I had a similar a problem when using a 5.0sp2 dictionary.
I resolved using an updated version of the quickfix library compiled from the library SVN repository. If I remember correctly this was the bug.
It seems that the quickfix library has not been updated since a long time, and for newer version of fix I suggest you to use the "trunk" of the repo.
I had the same problem and i resolved it by tweaking my DataDictionary like the following in message AE TradeCaptureReport
