No module named '_pywrap_tensorflow_internal' - Tensorflow CPU version - tensorflow

While trying to upgrade to latest version of Tensorflow(1.8) i came across the below error. I am using windows 7 os and 64 bit system. python 3.6.0.
The worst part is i am facing the same issue even after downgrading to Tensorflow 1.7 which was working fine for me before. Any suggestions are welcome.

The issue got resolved, when i did conda install instead of pip.
Please use 'conda install tensorflow'. It should work.

At the beginning, I used tensorflow on CPU to run a model and got no issues. But later on I realized that I will have more data and using CPU will take too long so I switched to tensorflow on GPU. But when I run the model I get errors:

I have looked up many solutions and none of those can fix the errors. I have followed the instructions to install CUDA 9.0, CUDNN 7.0 and Visual Studio C++ Redistribution 2017. The only problem I can still think of is that I did not add VS C++ Redistribution 2017 into %PATH%. However, I can not find the directory which contains the file and so don't know what to add to the PATH(VS C++ Redistribution installer does not let me select which directory to install it). Does anyone know what to add to PATH? Or is there another solution to this issue?

Failed to load the native TensorFlow runtime. Import Failure

I installed tensorflow with GPU as instructed, using the pip3 command. This went smoothly, without any errors.
Now when I import Tensorflow in the command line I get the following error.
Any ideas?
As I understand there seems to be two DLL module which can't be loaded and two "_pywrap_tensorflow_internal" which can't be found.
Thanks in advance!

I'm not quite sure what's wrong at the moment. I had Tensorflow working (with a pip3 install I believe), but when I went to install Keras and Theano with miniconda, and also installed tensorflow with conda, TF would not work anymore.

Process finished with exit code 1
By now I'm lost where the problem might lie, I've uninstalled-reinstalled a bunch of modules, manually imported some stuff back and forth, then threw it all away and reinstalled it all from scratch to get the same error.
Theano and Keras work fine by the way, it's just TF that's not budging.
Any help is appreciated!
