Can the google spreadsheet api be used for print range definition - google-sheets-api

Please would someone give me the syntax for sending a range to a printer?
I have a script that defines what I want to print but I cannot find how to direct the print request to a driver and specify portrait/landscape etc.

I'm using Datalogics APDFL SDK. how to print only the pdf pages containing a certain word?

I have imported Datalogics maven sample source project in eclipse but don't know how to find the word and add them to print range and print specific pages that contain certain word
Have you contacted my company's Support department (tech_support#datalogics.com) already? If not, you should do so to get more direct expert assistance.
The Java sample ListWords illustrates how to find the words on a page, iterate through that list of words, and retrieve the text. The PrintPDF sample illustrates how to specify a range of pages to print and how to print a document. Examining these two samples would be helpful to see how you could selectively choose pages to print based on trigger words you find on those pages.

How to use Smartsheet- API to export specific data on Excel file

I am trying to find out if it's possible to use Smartsheet API or any other method to export specific columns data from Report Builder results to Excel file rather than the whole column that was generated from it. I am new to Smartheet and if you need better clarification or if there is any method to this approach, please let me know.
You can get the results of a Report via the Smartsheet API. When you make the request the Report is run to give you the current results of the Report just as if you opened it in your browser. There is also a specific request in the Smartsheet API on Reports to get the data provided as an Excel file. With this you can then work with the data in Excel as you need. This request is listed in the Smartsheet API docs here:

How to write filter {key} for a 'get items as xlsx' request via Podio API

I'll get this out of the way first: I'm an amateur programmer (at best)...i have some knowledge of how APIs work, but little to no experience manipulating the podio API directly (ie I use zapier/globiflow a lot and don't write any php/ruby). I'm sure other people can figure this out via the API documentation, but I can't. So i'm really hoping someone can help clarify and give some more detailed instruction.
My Overall objective:
I frequently export podio files as xlsx from the podio front-end. This is used by my team and me to do regular data analysis tasks in excel. I would like to make this process easier by automating the function of getting an updated podio export into my excel. My plan is to do this via excel VBA. I understand from other searching that it is possible to send an HTTP request using VBA, so i want to make sure i understand what I need to send to the Podio API to get what I need. The method of how to write the HTTP request in excel VBA is outside the intentional scope of this question (though i'd accept any help on this!)
What I've tried so far:
I know that 'get items as xlsx' is part of the podio API: https://developers.podio.com/doc/items/get-items-as-xlsx-63233
However I cannot seem to get this to work in the sandbox environment on that page so that i can figure out a valid request url. I get this message: 'Invalid filtering key' ... because i have no idea how to fill in that field. The information on that page is not clear on this. Nor is it evident on the referenced 'views page'. There are no examples to follow!
I don't even want to do any filtering. I just want to get ALL items in the app. Or i can give it a pre-existing view_id, but that doens't seem to work either without a {key}
I realise this is probably dead simple. Please help a noob? :)
Unfortunately, the interactive API sandbox does not behave appropriately for this particular endpoint. For filtering, this API endpoint expects query string parameters where the field-value pairs consist of integer field IDs and the allowed values for each field. Filtering by fields is totally optional. It looks like this sandbox page isn't built for this kind of operation with dynamic query string field names; wherever you see the {key} field on that page is meant as a placeholder for whatever field IDs that you would use for filtering.
If you want to experiment with this endpoint, I would encourage you to try another dedicated HTTP client first. I was able to get this simple example working with the command-line program wget:
wget --header="Authorization:OAuth2 $MY_SECRET_TOKEN" \
--content-disposition \
"https://api.podio.com/item/app/16476850/xlsx/"
In this case, wget downloaded an Excel file containing all the items in my app without any filtering applied. The additional --content-disposition argument tells wget to save the output as a file with a name using the information in the server's Content-Disposition response header.
With a filter applied:
wget --header="Authorization:OAuth2 $MY_SECRET_TOKEN" \
--content-disposition \
"https://api.podio.com/item/app/16476850/xlsx/?130654431=galaxy"
In this case, the downloaded file filtered the results to items where field id 130654431 (which is a category field) contain the value galaxy.

How to find the source location of a dynamic token in JMeter?

I've been using Fiddler tool to capture the HTTP request-responses, then manually finding out the source location of a dynamic token (in a recorded page). I'd then use regular expression extractor on that source page to extract and store the value of that dynamic token in a variable, and use that variable in later pages.
Just wondering if there's an easier way for this. Is there any tool in JMeter that can help us find the source location of a dynamic token?
Thank you,

As of may 2015, there's nothing available OOTB except to save request / responses to file with ViewResultsTree and search in resulting file, or search in each response in ViewResultsTree gui.
An option would be to write a BackendListenerClient implementation that writes data in jdbc or ElasticSearch instance and uses it to search through SQL or elastic search queries.
A contribution would be welcome.
It is possible that this is implemented in future releases.

Need your ideas to automate

In my project we have a web based tool where it collects all the exceptions that occur in log. The list of exceptions will be displayed in table and a icon will be displayed in a column to get the stack trace. Some one needs to check all those exceptions and we need to assign to different teams based on the keywords.
Eg : If the stacktrace contains "DB Connection error" it has to be assigned to DB team, if it contains code error like "classcast exception" in particular file then it has to be assigned to individual owning the module. Currently some one has to open each n every row in the table displayed and open the stack trace and do Ctrl + F and if any of those keywords are found assign it to respective team.
We don't have any access to the tool's database and it's web based. I need some good ideas to automate it. Please suggest me with which technology and idea to automate it.
Sounds like selenium + programming language of your choice is a good fit (even without a selenium).
You need to:
download source code of the page containing exceptions table.
Use any of these: wget, curl, selenium, urllib for python, etc.
put it into variable and extract exceptions list in convenient to you format.
Use any xpath-powered tool, like selenium, lxml for python, etc.
do your thing with the extracted exceptions list: search for keywords, assign tickets, etc.
Use programming language of your choice.
Definitely you can achieve this using selenium.
Following are the steps to follow.
Supply date criteria with type command to the boxes text boxes element.
click search button.
store the required text in variable using storeValue(locator, variableName).
click on image link if you are able to keep track of popup window else you have to use
$second=$sel->getAttribute("//html/body/.../a#href"); and now your $second has link address $sel->openWindow($second,"MyWindow2"); now select that new window $sel->selectWindow("MyWindow2"); and do operation of storing required data from the popup.
Now agian for selection of previous window use `$sel->selectWindow("null"); // hear $sel is object of selenium (i.e. $this).
Select your required option using select(selectLocator, optionLocator).
Use selenium RC for above steps so that you have more manipulation with the data stored and as per requirement operations.
In above steps syntax are of PHPUnit.
Please try the steps may help you.
Regards.
