How to re-download Vault Credentials - azure-backup-vault

One of my backups has failed because seemingly the pass phase is corrupted.
I am attempting to re-register the server (I do not know if this will fix the problem but I do know that in this process the pass phrase is entered) and so need to re-download the Vault Credentials.
In the old Azure portal the download of the Vault Credentials link was right there as soon as you went to the particular vault.
In the new Azure portal I cannot find it anywhere. I have looked and looked and Googled and Googled.
I get the feeling that one has to start the whole backup setup again for the server in order to get the credentials via Getting Started > Backup.
So I am in vault that the server backs up to and I go to Getting Started > Backup and follow the steps and then I end up with a list of servers that I need to choose from but my server is not there because it says "VMs in same region as vault and not protected by another vault are shown....".
Anyway I am stuck.

Path to download the vault credential file: Home>Recovery Services vaults>Select your recovery services vault>Properties>Backup credentials
See the screenshot:

OK I fixed my problem but I did not resolve the "How to re-download Vault Credentials".
In the Azure Backup app on the server I went to Actions > Change Properties and re-entered the pass phrase and tried to save it.
I got a message that nothing was saved because the pass phrase had not changed.
So how the heck did it know that if my initial problem was that the pass phrase was corrupted???
I chanced my luck and tried a "Backup Now" and lo and behold it worked.
GO FIGURE AND THANK YOU TEAM AT MS FOR YET ANOTHER CONUNDRUM I HAD TO SOLVE WITH SMOKE AND MIRRORS.
Don't get me started...

Azure Storage account opening issue

I have an RBAC access to Azure portal. Previously I was able to access storage account and blobs successfully. But suddenly I am unable to access container or blob. I am able to view the storage account listed for me, but cannot access it.
I get error as "Something went wrong while getting your resources. Please try again later." I tried refreshing, clearing cache and signing again. Still facing same issue.
In portal I get notification as "Refresh the browser to try again.
Microsoft_Azure_Storage extension failed to load"
There is no network issue, as I can access all other resources from portal at same point.
Also there is no Unauthorized access issue notification.
Unable to figure out what is the issue.
Any help highly appreciated.
I'd recommend checking the activity logs for recent RBAC changes in case if they happened and someone changed access to containers/blobs, here's how: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/change-history-report
I'd also recommend checking the list of roles/access you currently have by following these steps: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/role-based-access-control/change-history-report
If you are still experiencing the issue, in case if you have a co-admin, check if they are facing the same issues. if they are, please send me your subscription ID, link to this thread, and include attn Adam in the subject to AzCommunity[at]microsoft.com ?
I'll enable a free support ticket to quickly escalate it.
I hade the same issue while I was using VPN from Bangladesh. When I disconnected from the VPN, it works fine.

Cannot login after installation like service AranangoDB Windows7

I looked at the config files everything is fine, made environment variables PATH's, started and restarted the service put in the right password, searched for someone with similar problems(not found).
Every time i go to the default location via browser I get the login screen but when i put in 'root' and the password I get an error message 'Login Failed'.
When I set athenticate=false in the conf file i can access the web manager.
Anybody know how to solve this or at least what might be wrong?
During the installation, the ArangoDB Installer will ask you the password for the administrator user.
Use root as user name with your password to gain access to the database.
Open a CMD-Window in your ArangoDB installation directory.
To re-gain access to the database, stop the ArangoDB database service using
sc stop ArangoDB
after the database was stopped, invoke
.\usr\bin\arango-secure-installation
which will ask you for a new password.
After that, start the service again using:
sc start ArangoDB

GitKraken Unrecognized allowed types:8

I'm using GitKraken 1.8.0 on windows 10 machine to connect TFS 2015 and when I try to do (Push, Pull, Fetch) I always get toast message error says
Unrecognized allowed types:8
however, I can do these operations successfully using the CLI or Source Tree.
What is the cause of this issue!? and how to overcome that!?
First disconnected and reconnected your TFS account and try again. Also try to clear TFS cache.
Try to directly use Visual Studio with GIT when connecting TFS2015. If this also can work and since you can do the operations successfully using the CLI or Source Tree ,then the issue should related to GitKraken.
To use Gitkraken connect other remote Git repo such as the one hosted on GitHub. If you still got the same error. You may need to give a try with reinstall GitKraken.
It turned out that TFS on a different domain and connecting my computer to this domain solved the problem and everything is working fine now.
The error message doesn't say much but I guess that Unrecognized allowed types:8 error message is some sort of authentication error using the username in [domain\username] format isn't working in this case
Generate GitKraken key, the step is Preference -> Authentication, choose General tab, and press Generate new Private/Public key "Generate" button.
Copy your gitkraken_rsa.pub key by press copy icon button. (SSH Public key item)
Paste your key into TFS server.
Copy your project SSH path from TFS to your Gitkraken Remote push/pull path and be careful there is no unnecessary ".git" word behind your path, if there is, delete it.
Try to Git Fetch/Pull/Push by GitKraken!
I know this is very old thread, but in case any of the mentioned solutions doesn't work for future readers, especially if you are NOT using any kind of integrations inside GitKraken, go to Credential Manager (Windows users) and under "Windows Credentials" -> "Generic Credentials" try to find your "git:" that is causing this issue and update the password to correct one for your git credentials.

Cyberduck Error "Login Failed"

Exhausted available authentication methods. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.
I continue to receive this error on Cyberduck. I was able to log into the account when I first downloaded Cyberduck. When I was finished with my work I saved/ closed everything, and it was so far so good. I hadn't logged out of the account. But since I have been trying to log back in I have been receiving this error.
Please help.
If you are using Mac, try removing the application password from Keychain. There's a possibility that the old password is corrupted.
For me, my password was set to "$this->request()". So no matter what I type when connecting, Cyberduck used this "old" password.
You use Cyberduck to connect to an FTP server right?
If it's at all possible that anyone else has access to this account and failed to login a magical number of times (usually 3) then the server may have locked your account and needs to be restarted.
Or something is wrong with the server itself.
I hate to say it but contacting whoever is in charge of the server, as it said, is probably best. Without more information there's no way to know what went wrong.
I tried to remove the application password but it kept failing to connect.
The solution was simply to remove and re-install the app.
In my case i was passing the username wrong.
I typed ununtu instead of ubuntu.
Check you server details you entered.

RavenDB periodic backup bundle + web admin does not persist changes

I'm using the latest stable version (3.0.3660) on a VM on Windows Azure and would like to enable period backup. Have tried to enable both local backup and backup to Azure but the GUI doesn't seem to persist the changes. Modal dialog says "Saving..." but nothing more.
Is there a log for this so that I can troubleshoot what doesn't work?
/Erik
I tried it too and the database is non-responsive for several minutes (a co-worker was waiting for tens of minutes). But after waiting a while it actually does something. I configured the Azure backup and that went wrong because it couldn't upload a blob of that large a size. The error was logged and can be found in the studio > status > logs.
Running the server standalone (instead of running as a service) doesn't give any additional feedback either.
Managed it to work by setting "Raven/AnonymousAccess" to Admin and then save the changes, not sure why. Connected with API key that should have full access.
