Why is my form still in memory - vba

I have the following code opening a form and then doing some stuff.

Then I have the following code in my form

However, even if the cmdAvbryt-button is clicked in the form, the first code-snippet enters the if-statement, as if the form is not unloaded. Why is this, and how can I prevent the code in the if-statement to be executed if the cmdAvbryt-button is pushed?

Even though your frm variable isn't Nothing, the form is unloaded. Add a little check before and after the frm.Show:
Debug.Print VBA.UserForms.Count
frm.Show
Debug.Print VBA.UserForms.Count
and you'll see that it is not in the list of loaded forms. If you set the object variable to Nothing it will not do the "Doing stuff"

Actually, frm declared as ufNyA3 will not become Nothing after the userform unloading. Try to use the following IsUserFormLoaded() function to check if the userform is loaded:

How to check if a userform is closed with "X" Windows button?

There is a sub, it creates a CourtForm userform and then takes a data from it. The problem appears when said form is closed prematurely, by pressing "X" window button and I get a runtime error somewhere later. For reference, this is what I'm talking about:

One of the possible solutions is to pass a dictionary to the user form, and store all entered data into it. Here is the example:

Note the user form in that case can be closed (i. e. unloaded) right after all data is filled in and action button is clicked by user.
Another way is to check if the user form actually loaded:

VBA Input Value From Another UserFormB into TextBox From UserFormA

I have a userForm (mappingGuide) that allows user to pick a smartyTag from a list of more user-friendly names.
I have a second user-form (conditionalBuilder) that I would like to call this userForm upon double-clicking a text field so that a user can lookup which smartyTag to apply (in case they don't know).
So logic, is:
open conditionalBuilder
double-click Field text box
mappingGuide opens
pick a smartytag from listbox
fill smartytag value into field text-box in conditionalBuilder
unload mappingGuide
The issue I think I having with completing the requirement is that when I load the forms themselves I cannot find a way to set the text of the fieldName textbox of the loaded instance of conditionalBuilder (see last code block below). I've been searching around, but cannot figure it out.

If there is a better set-up that would be great to know too. I have the forms separate because there's a couple of levels a user can create tags with.

You can do this with a presenter class which controls userform instances and pass values between them. I mocked up something similar to give you an idea.

I actually solved it by placing the below block inside the IF where I check for the form being loaded and I will leave open for better answers, if there are any.

Function to clear UserForms checkbox in VBA

I am creating a program which has several UserForms.
At the end of the program I need to clear every Checkbox inside some UserForm. I have created a Function, but it cannot recognise which UserForm it should clear, can you help me there? Here is the code:

Is it possible to pass a range to a userform-property?

I am trying to adapt the code found here (the third method, as that is what seems to be deemed best-practice), to suit my needs, but I'm not having any luck - the code I have so far, more or less copy-pastaed from that page is the following:

Your variable calling_cell is initialized in the form frm and not in ufRegLuft

Why VBA global variables loses values when closing UserForm?

I have a macro code behind Worksheet. When button is clicked on the sheet, new user form is initialised and showed to user. If user closes the windows with red X, or form is closed with "hide" function/method, all global variables that are behind Worksheet loses their values. Is it possible to preserve this values?

Experiments show that the module-level variables are cleared upon exiting a procedure that involves calling = New Form, provided that the form designer window is opened somewhere in the IDE.
Close all user forms designer windows you might have open in the VBA IDE and try again.
NewMeasurement as been declared but never assigned.
You could do something like Dim NewMeasurement As New measurement to create an instance of the object.
