Error when creating an Oracle connection from Pentaho Kettle 8.0.0.0-28 - pentaho

I need to connect to an Oracle database from the Spoon and adding all the data requested to create the connection, when making the TEST, it always tells me that the usr / passwd is incorrect, when in fact all data is OK. I have an Oracle Database 12c installed, download the JAR file: ojdbc7 and add it in the path: ... \ data-integration \ lib
Attached screen with connection settings
This is the error message

thank you very much

Solved! When having a DB 12c, it is not necessary to put in the SID of the DB, it is necessary to put in the connection the name of the PDB before putting an "/" and with that connects of correct way.

Your password verifier is stored on the server in the "scram-sha-256" format, but your driver is too old to support that format. Upgrade the JDBC driver. Or less prefered, change password_encryption on the server to "md5" and then reset the password.

In JDBC, the DriverManager will query all registered drivers to see if they can use the URL to connect. If a driver doesn't support the provided URL (eg because the driver queried is for Firebird, and the URL is for PostgreSQL), the Driver.connect implementation should return null:
The driver should return "null" if it realizes it is the wrong kind of driver to connect to the given URL. This will be common, as when the JDBC driver manager is asked to connect to a given URL it passes the URL to each loaded driver in turn.
Long story short, if you look at the stacktrace you will see at the bottom:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid connection URL url jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/prueba
at org.mariadb.jdbc.JDBCUrl.parse(JDBCUrl.java:144)
at org.mariadb.jdbc.Driver.connect(Driver.java:95)
at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(Unknown Source)
In other words, the org.mariadb.jdbc.Driver is misbehaving and throwing a java.lang.IllegalArgumentException instead of returning null as it should. This causes the DriverManager to stop trying other drivers, and as a result it never even tries to use the PostgreSQL driver.
Possible solutions or workarounds are:
Remove the MariaDB driver from the classpath of Pentaho
Check if there is a newer version of the MariaDB driver that has this bug fixed
Check if there is an older version of the MariaDB driver that doesn't have this bug
A quick search shows this is bug CONJ-167 which should be fixed in the MariaDB Connector/J 1.2.2, which hasn't been released yet.

Could this be issue from J Meter side or server side? Please let me know.
If it works fine with few requests & it is failing with 80 requests at a time, then it could be app server issue. Definitely you should be seeing some exceptions in the log in case the server is not responding. If you are not checking, you should do that. You also need to have monitoring tools to monitor server performance.

Is the firewall on the server you are running MariaDB on, configured to allow connections from the server/workstation Pentaho is running on?
You should be able to find enough information about the above and other related information to allow remote access to your MariaDB on this page: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/configuring-mariadb-for-remote-client-access/
