How to group by a "custom field" in a search view? ODOO 10 - odoo

I created a custom field called Commission in the product form (POS module). Its technical name is x_commission.
I want to be able to group by "Commission" in the POS > Reporting > Orders menu.
Is there a way to access that field from another view?
Thanks in advance.

You can use this field on other views of product.product model.

Create the field in a module since as I remember the fields used for group by in read_group method are filtered to be real fields

Carry page values to another model page, Odoo

I want to carry notebook page One2many field to another model page.

How can fill these page fields after creating method.
Brother, Please state your question clearly.
I hope that notebook has a one2many relation with the purchase ?
If so, Before that you have to know in which purchase order id you want to add those field values.
Then create a object button in your custom model, use create method in that and in the dictionary pass the same purchase order id in that.

Is there a way in Access reports to show only one of each item but all of its attributes?

I'm not sure exactly how to explain it but basically I want to go from something like this
to this
The easiest method would be to create a report from your query, add a group to the report grouping by the Food field, and place the Food field within the group header.

How to add a many2one relation to a custom model

I try to add to an order a new attribute that relates to a custom many2one relation. The goal is to choose for each order one specific contract condition. I would like to manage those contract conditions in the database, so that I can easily manage them.
I sort of got far. I can edit those conditions, assign them and get them properly printed. However, on the sale-order form they get displayed in a weird way. Instead of the descirption-text of the condition, I see sort of a description of the associated record. So my question is, how to show the proper description attribute. See here:
Below I added a few screenshots that explain the type of changes that I did.
custom data structure:
many2one relation from sale.order to custom structure:
views for custom structure:
reference from order form, which is displayed oddly
Define _rec_name into your class.
_rec_name = 'x_condition'
It's because it will looking for name field into your custom model when you add many2one field for that model, when you define _rec_name it will take that field value.
Try to use x_name instead of x_condition for field name

When relating 3 entities in CRM 2011 using Advanced Find only 2 entities show up in edit columns

I'm trying to create a view in CRM 2011 that will show a few columns from Customers (Account), Orders (SalesOrder), and Order Products (SalesOrderDetail). I already know I need to start at the child-most entity so under Advanced Find I select "Order Products" under Look for. When I do this I'm able to select columns from Orders but unable to select columns from Customers.
Is this even possible to accomplish in CRM?
I'm trying to create the following result set:
Account.Name,
Account.Email,
SalesOrder.OrderNumber,
SalesOrderDetail.NetAmount,
SalesOrderDetail.ShipDate
I verified that you cannot manually add a second link within a view query. To my knowledge it is also not possible to add these columns though javascript. You can get the account name in your view simply by using the account lookup on the Order. If you need for the account email to also be in the view, then I suggest you add this field to the order entity and populate it with post callout logic on the account.
I Second Zach’s idea, but suggest adding a direct relationship between customer and orderdetail . This way you can use fetchxml to show account.email or any other account.* for that matter.
The downside is you’ll need to sync order.customer changes to orderdetail.customer.
The better option is to simply create a report and show that in an iframe or a webresource.
This is not possible even if we edit the fetch xml it wont work

SAP Business One I Query inventory base on user defined field

I am running a query on a product. I need a field that will look at the user defined field which contains another product and check that stock level. Any help would be great.
What is the main objective?
Are you trying to check on that item because that item is the material/component? or act like a substitution?
Using UDF is quite not feasible as you have to get the link to the Item Master Data, and I have not figured out yet how to do that.
But if you are using it as substitution, why don't you use Alternative Item in Inventory > Item Management > Alternative Items? It will show on Sales Quotation for you to display it to customer. Or during Sales Order, you can get it displayed for alternative should your main item is shortage.
If you are using those item as a component, I suggest you use Bill of Material. During Production Order you will be able to see those component's availability in qty, and also you can have more than one, unlike UDF.
Hope this helps.
I think the key part you're missing here is the naming convention which SAP adpots for user defined fields.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that you're capable of querying these fields from a SQL point of view.
UDFs by defuault, will have their column name prefixed with "U_".
For example, the UDF 'AnotherProduct' will be referred to in SQL as 'U_AnotherProduct'.
Hope this helps, if not, please explain your problem in some more detail.
