We can define Vue component by:
Vue.component('element-name', {})
But where is source of method definition of Vue.component? I've spent hours on reading source files from https://github.com/vuejs/vue, but still can't find it.

So, I am trying to follow a number of the file pond example and each of them include some form of CSS import (I get it, there is a lot that comes with beauty). However, no matter what I try, Filepond or Pintura (formerly Doka), I get this error in some form:
Compiled with problems:

I have NO IDEA how to fix this as I am not experienced enough with what would be going on. I am guessing it has to do with Webpack and build but no idea what I need to do to fix it. Any help?
I also want to mention this is a Laravel/VueJS/Tailwind stack
The solution is to add the CSS files to the app.css file under /resources/css/app.css
#import 'filepond/dist/filepond.min.css';
#import "filepond-plugin-image-preview/dist/filepond-plugin-image-preview.min.css";
I'm not sure this is even possible, but it looks like some of the moving parts are there.
GOAL:
Create a library of single file Vue 3 components that will compile into separate chunks using Vite, and be dynamically/async loaded at runtime. The app itself will load, then load up a directory of individually chunk'd elements to put in a toolbox, so afterward each element could be updated, and new ones could be added by putting new chunks in the same path.
So far, I can create the separate chunks within the vite.config as follows:
...
build: {
rollupOptions: {
output: {
...buildChunks()
}
}
}
...
The buildChunks function iterates over SFC files in the ./src/toolbox path and returns an object like...
{
'toolbox/comp1':['./src/toolbox/comp1.vue'],
'toolbox/comp2':['./src/toolbox/comp2.vue'],
'toolbox/comp3':['./src/toolbox/comp3.vue'],
...
}
This all works, but I'm not sure how to make that next leap where the server code dynamically loads all of those generated chunk files without explicitly listing them in code. Also, since the Vite build adds an ID in the file name (e.g. comp.59677d29.js) on each build, referencing the actual file name in the import can't be done explicitly.
So far what I've considered is using defineAsyncComponent(()=>import(url)) to each of the files, but I'd need to generate a list of those files to import...which could be done by building a manifest file at build time, I guess.
Any suggestions? Is there a better approach?
If you read the jax source code you'll hit something called xla_client. Often imported like this
from . import xla_client
This implies that xla_client is a python module, but I can't find any file with that name or reference to a variable of that name.
I assume that it is related to https://pypi.org/project/jaxlib/, but this package just links back to the jax source code.
Can anybody clue me in?
The file you're referring to is stored at https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/tree/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python
Let me expound further: xla_client is partly a wrapper around a specially compiled c++ file called xla_extension.so, for example see
from . import xla_extension as _xla
and numerous references to _xla throughout xla_config. The source for this file is https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python/xla.cc, which we know because it says so quite clearly in https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorflow/compiler/xla/python/BUILD
pybind_extension(
name = "xla_extension",
srcs = [
"xla.cc",
],

I try to use Cro to create a Rest API that will publish messages in rabbitMQ. I would like to split my routes in different modules and compose them with an "include". But I would like to be able to share the same connection to rabbitMQ in each of those modules too. I try with "our" but it does not work :
File 1:
unit module XXX::YYY;
use Cro::HTTP::Router;
use Cro::HTTP::Server;
use Cro::HTTP::Log::File;
use XXX::YYY::Route1;
use Net::AMQP;
our $rabbitConnection is export = Net::AMQP.new;
await $rabbitConnection.connect;
my $application = route {
include <api v1 run> => run-routes;
}
...
File 2:
unit module XXX::YYY::Route1;
use UUID;
use Cro::HTTP::Router;
use JSON::Fast;
use Net::AMQP;
my $channel = $XXX::YYY::rabbitConnection.open-channel().result;
$channel.declare-queue("test_task", durable=> True );
sub run-routes() is export { ... }
Error message:
===SORRY!===
No such method 'open-channel' for invocant of type 'Any'
Thanks!
When you define your exportable route function you can specify arguments then in your composing module you can create the shared objects and pass them to the routes. For example in your router module :
sub run-routes ($rmq) is export{
route {
... $rmq is available in here
}
}
Then in your main router you can create your Queue and pass it in when including
my $rmq = # Insert queue creation code here
include product => run-routes( $rmq );
I've not tried this but I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work.
The answer by #Scimon is certainly correct, but it does not addresses the OP. On the other hand, the two comments by #ugexe and #raiph are spot-on, so I'll try to summarize them here and explain what's going on.
The error itself
This is the error:
Error message:
===SORRY!=== No such method 'open-channel' for invocant of type 'Any'
It indicates the invocant ($XXX::YYY::rabbitConnection) is of type Any, which is the type usually assigned to variables when they don't have a defined value; that is, basically, $XXX::YYY::rabbitConnection is not defined. It certainly is not since XXX::YYY is not included among the imported modules, as indicated by #ugexe.
The additioal problem indicated by the OP
That module was eliminated from the imported list because, as indicated by the OP
I certainly code it the wrong way because if i try to add use
XXX::YYY;, i get a Circular module loading detected error
But of course. since use XXX::YYY::Route1; which is file 2, is included in File 1.
The final solution is to reorganize files
That circular dependence probably points out to the fact that they should be in the same file, or else common code should be factored out to a third file, which would be eventually be included by both. So you should have something like
unit module XXX::YYY::Common;
use Net::AMQP;
our $rabbitConnection is export = Net::AMQP.new;
await $rabbitConnection.connect;
And then
use XXX::YYY::Common;
in both modules.
I am writing a Play Framework module in order to share some common logic among multiple Play apps. One of the things I would like my module to do is provide some frequently-used functionality by way of 3rd-party modules, for example the excellent Markdown module.
First of all, is it possible to do this? I want all the apps that include my module to be able to use the .markdown().raw() String extension without needing to explicitly declare the Markdown module as a dependency. The Play Framework Cookbook chapter 5 seems to imply that it is possible, unless I am reading it wrong.
Secondly, if it is possible, how does it work? I have created the following vanilla example case, but I'm still getting errors.
I created a new, empty application "myapp", and a new, empty module "mymod", both in the same parent directory. I then modified mymod/conf/dependencies.yml to:
self: mymod -> mymod 0.1
require:
- play
- play -> markdown [1.5,)
I ran play deps on mymod and it successfully downloaded and installed the Markdown module. Running play build-module also worked fine with no errors.
Then, I modified myapp/conf/dependencies.yml to:
# Application dependencies
require:
- play
- mymod -> mymod 0.1
repositories:
- Local Modules:
type: local
artifact: ${application.path}/../[module]
contains:
- mymod
I ran play deps on myapp and it successfully found mymod, and generated the myapp/modules/mymod file, containing the absolute path to mymod.
I ran myapp using play run and was able to see the welcome page on http://localhost:9000/. So far so good.
Next, I modified myapp/app/views/Application/index.html to:
#{extends 'main.html' /}
#{set title:'Home' /}
${"This is _MarkDown_, by [John Gruber](http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/).".markdown().raw()}
I restarted myapp, and now I get the following error.
09:03:23,425 ERROR ~

And just to confirm I'm not crazy, I tried adding the play -> markdown [1.5,) line to myapp/conf/dependencies.yml and restarted the app, and confirmed that it works.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious. Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help! :)
Yes I had the same problem, it seems that transitive dependencies through custom home made modules does not work
