I would like to install and use Google EarthEngine's Python API in a Google Colaboratory notebook. And I haven't gotten very far with that at all. After I type the following code into a cell,
!pip install earthengine-api
!earthengine authenticate
the earthengine-api and its dependencies install, but the authentication requires me to log into my account and to enter an authorization code (which then, presumably, stores OAuth credentials locally) and enables use of this API subsequently via ee.Initialize().
I have two issues:
In the Colaboratory interface, which does not have a command line kind of interactivity, I am unable to enter the authorization code that EarthEngine needs to authenticate. Is there any workaround?
Where, if at all I got around the issue above, would the OAuth credentials be stored? Would this be per-session, or per-user? And would it be accessible to this or other notebooks in subsequent sessions, or in different notebooks?
I have found an example here. It uses --quiet

I read all similar questions without arriving to the point.
I have a node instance and it runs on my "index.js" only in my local machine.
I have to take a cvs and put on new google sheet.
I have "credentials.json" in my project. Google say me "incorrect redirect_urls". But I cannot put a redirect url since it's a node script.
And I do not want to pass in a browser for a login. This because maybe tomorrow I will put the same script on a real server.
If you are trying to use the Google Sheep API I'm pretty sure you are not getting the results you want. ;)
Assuming you have enabled the Sheets API in you project, and you plan to use a server to deploy the application, then you need to configure you consent screen accordingly.
During development you can use localhost as a redirect URL, which will enable you to test the app.
You should have a read through this help article to correctly set up your OAuth credentials and consent screen for each type of project.
I managed to get the code runing to a point where i can upload and download files in my android app from google drive using the api. However i uploaded my app to Google Play and when a user installs it the first time the oauth 2 screen pops up and requires to select account(which is great) but when the user selects Google account the oauth screen just keep appearing and looping.
Did anyone encounter this before?
As stated in this thread, maybe you did not create credentials for your app. As described in this documentation, you must retrieve your SHA-1 keys for both the debug and production environments and add them in your credentials in the Google Developers Console.
I've tried various tutorials and links on how to get Google Sign-In to work in Meteor to no avail. How can I create a google sign in button on my login page that redirects to my user dashboard--using iron:router perhaps (and shows the persons name in the corner), and restrict the google emails to only .edu accounts?
Also as the admin of the page how would I be able to see the emails/names of all the people who have logged into my website? Is this done through Google Analytics?
Try adding the accounts-google package. You'll need to configure the Google sign in with the application key and secret. The easiest way to do this is to also add the accounts-ui package and using
{{> loginButtons}}
which will display detailed instructions on the steps to follow on the Google page. It will also save your app key and secret tokens appropriately.
Once this is done you'll be okay using the method
Meteor.loginWithGoogle()
as explained in the docs. It takes an optional array of options and a callback function
e.g
Meteor.loginWithGoogle({}, function(error){
if(error)
//Couldn't log in
else
Router.go('/dashboard');
})
Good luck
For Google Sign-in, I would recommend installing the accounts-entry package and configuring it from your browser:
install with latest meteor version
meteor add joshowens:accounts-entry
and for meteor version before 0.9 use
mrt add accounts-entry
For your dashboard redirection, review the documentation for that package on atmospherejs.com which demonstrates how to configure your dashboardRoute:
dashboardRoute: '/dashboard'
The iron-router package is a dependency of accounts-entry, so it will be installed as well.
Access the data by launching the MongoDB shell (after starting your app):
meteor mongo
Query for the accounts using the MongoDB shell:
db.users.find()
This is not handled via Google Analytics
I'm using the dropboxd service under Linux, which requires you to log into their website e.g. https://www.dropbox.com/cli_link?host_id=2173bf325f94beee3b1879d2c7b49e69 to link the machine to your account.
Is there any programatic way to do this (ideally using Java)? To access the website above it seems you need to login using forms (which seems tricky to do programatically), and their basic REST API (https://www.dropbox.com/developers/core/docs) doesnt seem to cover the cli_link command.
I could write an app to do the sync using their full API, but it seems like overkill since aside from the cli_link requirement the basic dropboxd does all that I need.
The official Dropbox desktop client is unrelated to the API, though both the API and the Linux CLI require user interaction on the Dropbox web site (once per link) to authorize the linking. Also, note that automating/scraping the site itself is not allowed by the terms:
https://www.dropbox.com/terms#acceptable_use
Not really a solution for DropBox users, but in the end we just moved over to use MediaFire instead. That has a full REST API and doesnt require any manual intervention.
Im using the Google PHP API Client http://code.google.com/p/google-api-php-client/ to retrieve data from the google API.
Logging in thru OAuth2 and fetch user information works like a charm, but when I'm attempting to access the goole analytics api i get this 403 code error every time. Hundreds of users with the same problem forgot to activate the Google Analytics API in the service settings, or simply provided incorrect credentials (client_id & client_secret). I've tried to enable/disable the Google Analytics multiple times, and logging in/out from my google accounts, but no result.
Anyone that has any pointers for me?
(Remember, the OAuth procedure works, since I'm getting both an access_token and refresh_token)
I'm using the simple.php example in the class examples folder...
I'm working on Drive myself and understand the issue. I've been having some troubles understanding Google and their PHP api somewhat. I've finally got it to work with some clarification of examples found around the internet.
Your problem sounds like you didn't set your scope to Google analytics but, please be clear in the steps you've taken as well as the code you've tried using.
The error could be as simple as forgetting this line in your oAuth callback file:
$client->addScope(Google_Service_Analytics::ANALYTICS);
To something complex as understanding if you need a full paid account to access information from Google about your Analytics (not included as free like Google+ and Google drive).
