Windows Hardware Lab Package tab not available when tests are completed and passed - testing

I am getting to know the HLK Studio and have run the recommended tests against one of our drivers ( a USBStorageFilter driver). When the driver was selected in the list of available components on the test machine the studio recommended the "HyperVisor Code Integrity Readiness Test" and the "TDI Filters and LSPS are not allowed" only. These ran without error and the studio is now showing test status of total 2 & passed 2.
However the PACKAGE tab is greyed out and will not allow me to proceed in creating the package for submission. There is no indication of any other steps and the documentation suggests that once the selected tests have completed you should be able to move on to the Package tab.
Anyone got any clues as to what is preventing this from happening?
Windows 10 Pro x64 16209 target machine, 2016 server (hperv) as the HLK server studio machine.
Thanks
Nick

I had the exact same issue and the only thing I did was exit HLK and start it again. It remembered the results and the Package tab wasn't greyed out anymore. I was able to continue with package creation.

minispy only works for one of my computer

I am trying to develop a new driver based on minispy code. I have successfully install minispy on my windows 11 (Surface computer) But i am trying to install the driver also on a window 10 (HP) and a Windows 11 dev (VM created with hyper-V) but it doesn't work... I have found the base code in this link : https://github.com/microsoft/windows-driver-samples/tree/main/filesys/miniFilter/minispy
after that i build it in Realease mode with visual studio 22 17.1.7 and i tried to install it by right-clicking on the minispy.inf and on install.
After this part I see minispy when i am running the command
driverquery
in my computers and VM, but when i am trying to start the service by running in an administrator command prompt
net start minispy
I get this result on my VM and my windows 10 computer (translate form french) :
error system 127
the procedure is unfindable
I don't really know what are the differences and I am feeling kind of lost here... If someone can help me i would be very happy!

QTP has stopped recording and spying

I've been working for few months with QTP (UFT One 15.0.2), and today it has stopped recording (when I do the actions no lines are written in the script and no objects are added to the objects repository) and recognizing objects with the spy feature.
I am using the WEB add-in, and as I've been working for months with Mozilla Firefox I have checked that the WebExtension.xpi is well added to the browser.
I've tried to open mozilla before and after UFT One, I've also restarted my computer, I've checked the size of the screen browser is 100% and that in the Record and Run Settings the option " Record and run on any open browser" is checked for Web.
This situation usually occurs because the company's IT department has changed the related policy, causing the UFT Firefox extension to fail to run normally.
You can check if the HP.UFT.Firefox.NativeMessagingHost running in Windows task manager after openning Firefox while the extension is enabled, and check if the Micro Focus UFT Agent content script loaded in Firefox debugger's Sources tab(note: you need to check the "Enable browser chrome and add-on debugging toolboxes" in Web Developer Tools' Setting firstly).
If one of these things does not exist, you should check the policy change with your IT: did they block the related thing running?
If they all exist, you can open a CPE case to UFT One support. They will help you to do the further investigation.
I have checked that I had the same problem with chrome browser, so not an Extension problem.
Finally I have decided to uninstall and reinstall UFT One, but while uninstalling an error appeared and UFT persisted on the system.
After two trys I have launched UFT One and it has started working again.
I am not sure how long it will work.

Out of Memory "Set CS6 = New LabelManager2.Application" (VB6 - Codesoft)

I build VB6 Application to printing label using Codesoft 9 Application, but when I try to execute the code, the error appears "Out Of Memory" and then it debug to this code :
Set CS6 = New LabelManager2.Application
So, what's wrong with my code, any idea???
The error should be an exception with this message:
Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID
{3624B9C0-9E5D-11D3-A896-00C04F324E22} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following
error: 8007000e Not enough storage is available to complete this operation.
(Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007000E (E_OUTOFMEMORY)).
The issue probably involves licensing.
Only the Enterprise version of Teklynx Codesoft 9 and 10 support the full ActiveX LabelManager2.dll (Lppx2.Application) component. I can duplicate your problem using the Pro level or not starting the Codesoft application with the Enterprise Evaluation license first.
I think that the .Net wrapper version Lppnet.dll (Tkx.Lppa.Application), may work with the Pro level license, but it is very limited version.
Here is some additional information:
If you are running in Demo/Evaluation mode you can set the license level of the demo in the program's options
To open options with Codesoft 9, click Tools\ Options
To open configuration with Codesoft 10, click Tools\ Configuration
On the left side of the resulting dialog, there is a set of icons. Scroll to the bottom and click Product Mode
Select Codesoft Enterprise RFID
Click OK
Close and restart the program
When running in a demo mode you have to start the Codesoft application first before running your program. It may not load on its own unless you have an Enterprise license installed. I don’t currently have a non-demo Codesoft license to do testing on this aspect.
I also do not have Codesoft 2012 or 2014 installed so I don’t know if everything listed applies directly to those versions. They have made major changes to the way licensing works and installing them uninstalls the older version.

No error, but program won't start on WIn 8?

I have written a program in VB.Net and run it for a few years on Vista and Win 7 without issue. It is a requirements management tool front end to an Access or SQLServer backend database.
A few months ago I installed it on Win 8. It is a 64-bit version of my program running on a 64-bit laptop. It installs fine and runs OK initially. However, after a few weeks it stops running. This has happened twice, the last time after 28 days.
When I try to run the program nothing happens - no splash screen, no error message, no entry in the Applications Log in Event Viewer - just nothing happens. The only solution has been to re-install the program and then it starts working again.
I have tried: turning off all malware, firewall and anti-virus programs; running the program as Administrator; running in various compatibility modes. Nothing happens.
I also tried removing the license file from the program directory. When I did that I did get an error message in the Application Log in Event Viewer, so the program is trying to start. But when I returned the license file it still won't start and there is no error message in the log file.
Program was written in VS 2008 under .Net framework 3.5. I don't think this is an issue, since it runs fine for about a month after install. Also, it is not the license file. The license is perpetual, and anyway if it fails the license there is a splash screen that comes up, and that is not happening.
Can anyone suggest where I might look in Win 8 to try and work out what is going on when I try to start the program?
UPDATE: Through using the Reliability Monitor I have just noticed that at 2:30pm on the afternoon of the problem Windows Installer reconfigured my application. I had the app open all afternoon. but when I shut it at around 4:40pm, then tried to open it again, the problem above emerged.
Description
Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Capability Architect. Product Version: 1.0.0. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: SDG. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0.
The reason for the reconfiguration was:
Detection of product '{221672D4-9B64-4550-8B8A-A13C4BE20780}', feature 'DefaultFeature', component '{4F120286-6AE1-5DFE-65E4-A4495CA3F296}' failed. The resource 'C:\Users\Public\Desktop\SDG\Capbility Architect Template v2.0.accdb' does not exist.
Now, that file is installed by default with the product. However, I had deleted it earlier that day because I never use it and that seems to have triggered the reconfiguration. Is that normal behaviour?? And why should a reconfiguration stop the program from running? And is it possible to see exactly what the reconfiguration actually did?
EXTRA UPDATE: If this is the problem then I can't replicate it :( I tried deleting the folder again but it has not affected program start up at all.
Thanks
Ian

Winpe 4 drivers not loading

I need to inject custom drivers to wim file offline.
I'm using standard scenario described on MSDN http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh825206.aspx: mount, add-components (WMI, .NET4), add-drivers (signed, work correctly on windows 7 & 2012, x86/64), unmount, makewinpemedia.
However, when I booting from iso (on VMWare), drivers not loading.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
The most important thing while developing Win PE driver is to follow the architecture(using 32 bit on 64 bit Win PE can cause failures)
Follow the steps:-
Take the 'Custom Windows PE' rescue CD option in the rescue CD wizard.
If you haven't previously installed the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK), then this will need to be downloaded and installed. This is a big (1.7GB) download, so please be patient. The WAIK download dialog will be shown. Just click 'Continue' and be patient while the integration completes.
Once the integration is finished cancel the rescue media wizard.
Download and run 'inject.exe' from here:
http://updates.macrium.com/reflect/utilities/inject.exe
This will automatically inject the drivers into the windows image file (WIM) and will take a few minutes.
Once completed, take the rescue media build wizard again, select the 'Custom Windows PE' and click through to the final page.
Click the 'Rebuild' button to re-integrate the WAIK. This will not need to download and install the WAIK again, so will be much quicker.
Once completed, if you now burn the rescue CD the drivers will be integrated and you should have no problems booting with the CD and recognizing your local RAID volumes.
Have you gone through Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) you can have a look at the following link it may help you.
http://kb.acronis.com/content/24254
Windows PE always uses the same basic VESA mode video driver regardless of the card in use.
Please check the link below.

This particular link for creation of the ISO with Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) can also help you get going.

i did spent some time with Win PE,there is a image below are you getting the same message while booting with VM?
There are some additional steps given in the follwing link you can check if it works this way
