I try to create a program that can collect every "UTP" sheet in one folder into one "Master UTP" workbook (located in the same folder)
So, first I need to read all file xls in folder.
Copy "UTP" sheet and paste it to "Master UTP".
Then do looping again.

First issue is you try an open sName rather than sFileName (Use of Option Explicit would detect this error)

Your code looks fine except for the error where you try and open the other workbooks. You try and open workbooks from the variable sName which is never used. You also reset the sFileName variable needlessly, instead try using sPathName & sFileName as the input for Workbooks.Open().
Also, you try and compare the sFileName to the sourceWb which are two different data types, instead compare sFileName to sourceWb.Name.

However, for some reason, it only copy pastes some of the files and not others (or maybe it overwrites it?, point is some of the files are not copied in). Not sure why this is the case? Is it because there are some blank cells in files? To rectify this, i replaced all blank cells with 0 - didn't work. Is it because of different copy paste area? Don't know how to rectify that if this is the case
So after long investigation, i found out an impractical approach where if you paste in files that you need to copy one by one, It does the trick but it is inefficient. So just for a temp solution, i did the following where vba code copies in a file from a temp folder to the source folder, does its job of copy pasting to the master work book and then deletes the file that was copied in. For some reason, the code stops at the first even though it's a Do while loop. Not sure what's the problem here and what is most efficient approach here?

I use StrFile = Dir("C:\Users\A9900899\Desktop\Desmond\VBAProject\Raw\") to get the files in that folder and loop through them to do something. If the file contains the word hong kong, I go into the function to do some things. However, when I come back out, instead of StrFile = Dir containing the next file in the folder, it returns an empty string. There are more files in the folder. Why is this happening? is it something to do with the way Dir works or some scope issue? Please help thanks

Please edit the subroutine CollectData() so that it suits your needs, i.e. performs the click / url open. (I am not familiar with opening urls from excel, but I loop through workbooks often)

I was working with a vba and I'm trying to open all excel files in a folder (about 8-10) based on cell values. I was wondering if this is the right approach to opening it, it keeps giving me syntax error where I wrote the directory. and when I rewrote that section, the vba only shot out the msgbox which meant it had to have looped and did something right? but didn't open any files. one of the issue was, you had to write
Workbooks.Open Filename:=Directory & MyFile
instead of
Workbooks.Open Filename:=MyFile

I found this code online and it will open all the excel files in a folder, you can adapt the code to apply a function to the workbook, once it is open.
