RewriteRule directives "run" before Redirect ones do. Thus, if you want to force the redirections to run in a particular order, you need to convert them all to Rewrite directives.
Replace the three Redirect directives with:
RewriteRule ^dorama/(\d+)/(todome-no-kiss--paralel|life-as-a-girl|todome-no-kiss)$ http://www.piratefiles.org/$1/$2 [R=301]
Tweak as necessary, but that's the reason it's failing, and a proposed solution.
(Also, standard note here: If you have access to your main server config, .htaccess files should be avoided whenever possible. .htaccess files are for people that don't have access to the main config.)

second issue:

You can place this in the directory the bootstrap file (index.php) is in.
If you have FastCGI implementation, you need to add a question mark in the rewrite rule:

I am probably attempting to take URL Canonicalization a bit too far but here it goes anyway.
Basically I am looking to the following:
301 redirect every base url to http://www.mydomain.com/ some pages are https it should recognize that and continue to use https where already used/requested
301 redirect away any trailing slashes ie http://www.mydomain.com/page/ becomes http://www.mydomain.com/page (I already have a line of code that finds the index.php page - this site is built on Codeigniter)
I Don't want the base url to have the slash stripped that is the only time a slash should be left behind
Find any instances of index.php (in the front middle or end of the url) and 301 redirect them out
ie http://www.mydomain.com/index.php/page/index.php/ becomes http://www.mydomain.com/page
301 redirect any use of my ip address to the actual domain
ie 11.11.111.111/page/index.php would become http://www.mydomain.com/page

For whatever reason I can't seem to get this right, I've looked at many examples on here and apache's website. I'm trying to force www.domain.com instead of domain.com on EITHER http or https but I am not trying to force https over http.
the following code seems to work for all https connections but http will not redirect to www.

You don't need the second RewriteEngine directive. That may or may not be causing a parse issue making the second set of rules not work. To test whether this is the case, try switching the order of the two blocks you have.
It's good practice to use L to modify requests that are definitely the last. So, change [R=301] to [R=301,L] both times it appears.
Largely as a matter of style, I would consider changing the RewriteRule directives to something like (using http or https as appropriate):
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.domain.com$1 [R=301,L,QSA]
Your rules seem to be fine. You can combine them as follows:

Remember, once you have your CodeIgniter htaccess file setup, you will want to go into your “/system/application/config/config.php”, find the following:

I need a rewrite that will do the following:
Rewrite: http://subdomain.example.com/ to http://subdomain.example.com/page
I would also like this to hide the /page (/ would act as if it was /page) but this is not a necessary requirement. Also, I'd like it to work with HTTP or HTTPS.
Any help is greatly appreciated because I have been struggling with this for hours.

I need to redirect any URLs without "www." to URLs with "www." for better search engine optimization. I read that this is possible with mod_rewrite and .htaccess files, but I do not know the right code to use. Can anyone help?
Create a file called .htaccess in your root folder (the one where, say, index.html or index.php resides). Put the following into it:
