Search everywhere in intellij stoped working - intellij-idea

When I search everywhere in intellij I get only the latest files I worked on and not the full results.
Is there any way to fix this besides re-install ?

try using Ctrl+shift+R?
this acts like search everywhere and allows you to replace words too

How can I create a gedit plugin using python?

I wanted to create a simple gedit plugin that could save the current file when mouse leaves the text area (just like the <<leave>> event in tkinter) using python3. I went through wiki but I couldn't get much from it (All I could do was to create a plugin that just showed in plugins menu,nothing more). Can anyone help me with this?
According to the Python plugin HOWTO:
The gedit window based on Gtk.Window.
Looking at the documentation for Gtk.Window, it inherits from Gtk.Widget.
Looking at the signals documentation for Gtk.Widget, it looks like leave-notify-event is what you are looking for.

Using MXUnit or is there another way to display coldfusion output using Intellij IDEA 15

I'm loving IntelliJ because I also work with MySQL and the integration into one UI is great. Seems that IntelliJ works nicely with ColdFusion as well. I'm just hoping to successfully use MXUnit, but I seem to be getting an error upon testing. My main goal is just being able to display the output directly in IntelliJ instead of outputting in a browser.
My test site path: /Applications/ColdFusion11/cfusion/wwwroot/Test/test.cfc
Error http://localhost/mxunit-launcher.cfc?method=executeTestCase&componentName=test
Seems like I have to add in a mapping, maybe in CF Admin, because the path and web path don't match but I haven't done that before if that's the case. Here's a screenshot of input in IntelliJ, and the output at the bottom of the screenshot when running the debugger:
Thanks for any feedback on what I might be missing.

IntelliJ IDEA FXML is not correctly recognized

Why does IntelliJ does not recognize all tags in this *.fxml document?
The JavaFX plugin is enabled and some of the tags are recognized... (I created this with SceneBuilder)
How to solve this problem?
Don't rely on the wildcard import for resolution of the fx:root type attribute.
Use:
<fx:root type="javafx.scene.layout.GridPane" ...
Instead of:
<fx:root type="GridPane" ...
Then all of the node type specific tags (such as <children>) will resolve OK in the Idea editor and not be highlighted in red.
Do not ask me why this is so as I do not know.
I tested the above on Idea 15 EAP ideaIU-143.116.4-custom-jdk-bundled.dmg, it may or may not work on earlier Idea editions.

get rid of “cannot find Symbol” error in intelliJ

Before everything was fine but since some time i get "cannot find Symbol” when i try to compile.
The errors are on my own classes.
If i jump to source and then click the error icon i get this:
But the constructor already exists.
I have no idea of how to get rid of it. I did a lot of searching but none of the solutions like clean worked.
My project is under VCS which i don't really understand (how to set up etc). So maybe it has to do something with that. I only don't know how to get rid of it. Can someone help?
edit:
Here is the zip of the project folder and one folder that includes a library that is used.
I try to compile with build artifacts.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17630770/temp/doekeLibsArchive.zip
I hope someone can give it a try. I would love to continue on this project.
The problem is coming from the fact you have two BezierVertex classes,
a public one nl.doekewartena.path.BezierVertex
and a nested one nl.doekewartena.path.BezierVertexPath.BezierVertex
when you are inside BezierVertexPath, intellij is right nl.doekewartena.path.BezierVertexPath.BezierVertex does not have the constructor shown on your screenshot, it is nl.doekewartena.path.BezierVertex which has it, so you should use the fully qualified name of that class.
Am I missing something ?

IntelliJ Idea 12 - Java file is too large for editor

Getting "file x.java is too large for IntelliJ Idea editor" after trying to open a web service stub class that is generated for Axis 2.
I saw a post associated about this issue which says change the
idea.max.intellisense.filesize=2500
in idea.properties.
But this trick didn't work for me despite I increased the value enough. Also I tried to comment out it for disabling this feature; but it didn't work too..
Nowadays the setting
idea.max.intellisense.filesize=50000
works perfectly for me and lets me open files of up to 50M size.
If you just want IntelliJ to open the full file instead of truncating it, use this:
idea.max.content.load.filesize=500000 #500MB
My issue is that the file was > 20mb. See this link: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-85045
