We are creators of a music player app and would like to extend our app
with the Google Cast (Audio) receiver capability.
Currently the Receiver API is a JavaScript API, which allows access to the visalization of the receiver part only, no chance to get to the raw audio data...
Is there a plan to provide a public or private API to be used in mobile apps?
I know, there were similar questions already (e.g. Implementing Google cast receiver), but maybe there is an updated answer for this.
Thank you!
Casting to an Android or iOS app is not supported by the Cast SDK.

I am currently using Google Cast SDK in my iOS and Android app. I see on iOS that Google Cast SDK collects the following https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/ios_sender/app_privacy but I do not see nutrition facts for Android. What data does Android collect?
I'm wondering if turning off Firebase analytics will turn off cast SDK data collection. For example, if I set FIREBASE_ANALYTICS_COLLECTION_DEACTIVATED to YES on iOS (https://firebase.google.com/docs/analytics/configure-data-collection?platform=ios) and firebase_analytics_collection_deactivated to true on Android, will the cast SDK no longer send this data? If not, is there a way to turn off cast SDK data collection, and how can I test that data is no longer being sent?
There is no way to turn off logging/analytics, and there are no plans currently to provide a way to disable logging/analytics. You can find out more information about what Android collects from the GMS Core documentation.

I need to implement signalling between peers in a many to many video conference.
To do that i need access to the RTC Data Channel.
Since "Twilio Video API" doesn't yet provide Data Channel, should I use "Twilio Conversations API" for this task as it provides access to the RTCPeerConnection Object which can be used to create data channels which i found over here:
Or is there a way to get the RTCPeerConnection object of other peers in "Twilio Video API" itself?
Twilio developer evangelist here.
The Twilio Conversations API is deprecated so you should not use that.
There's no official way to get access to the RTCPeerConnection object within the Video API. I haven't found an unofficial way yet myself (though I'm sure there is, given that JavaScript doesn't really have private methods/properties).
If you definitely need the RTCDataChannel itself then you might not want to build with the Twilio Video API.
However, if you are looking to signal between peers, then perhaps the Twilio Sync API, which is a real time API for syncing data between clients and works really well alongside Twilio Video, can help.
After a thoroughly research it seems I can't find a way to integrate HealthKit on a cross platform application as it seems it doesn't provide a REST API and the code has to be exclusively written in either objective-c/swift.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there really no way to retrieve the data from healthkit on a cross platform app?
You're not missing anything. HealthKit data is stored exclusively on the user's iPhone, not in the cloud accessible from a web service.
I want to disable device or find logs for particular client. How could I find out what deviceID associated with particular client?
I use Android native and iOS native
-Thanks in advance
You haven't specified what kind of client-side technology you are using, but assuming hybrid, MFP provides client-side APIs for getting hold of a device ID, e.g. getID() in the JavaScript API.
With device access management feature, you can see device Id mapped to a user Id in the operations console Devices tab. Refer to

I downloaded Nokia Counters and I dont understand how do they get sms count and call durations if there is no API that could support this?
Do they have any extra APIs?
Most likely they have deeper access. After all, it is only for their devices which means that they can not only exit sandbox, but access their own proprietary API.
It is similar to Youtube app, Adobe Reader app and deep links to marketplace.
I would really want to get access to such API :/
