I am trying to connect the PHP with Java with the PHP/Java Bridge library. But I am facing an error as given below.

By default, the phpjavabridge servlet try to connect to a php-cgi daemon. It can be easily fixed, either by starting one of the bundled php-cgi (found in WEB_INF/cgi, follow the error message) or modify the configuration in the web.xml (see an example here) to provide your system php-cgi path. Repackage and redeploy your war file.
That said, if you want to use Java from PHP (and not PHP from Java), you don't need a php-cgi daemon. My recommendation, have a look to the following project: http://docs.soluble.io/soluble-japha/. This is a reworked version focusing on PHP -> Java integration.

I want to use JavaMelody to monitor the SQL requested by a Glassfish Application Server. There are step-by-step instructions on https://github.com/javamelody/javamelody/wiki/UserGuideAdvanced#monitoring-of-sql-requests-and-of-jdbc-connections-in-glassfish-v3
I followed the instructions (I didn't download javamelody-objectfactory.jar but used javamelody-core-1.54.0.jar instead) and I get this error when clicking on the refresh button (javamelody web page) :

jrobin-1.5.9.1.jar is installed in the lib folder of glassfish (and in my ear project).

javamelody-objectfactory.jar (java source included in the jar) and javamelody-core jar file are absolutely different things. The first is to make the datasource monitorable in Glassfish and the second is the monitoring tool itself.
First fix the exception. You should probably put javamelody-core jar and jrobin jar files in your ear project (and not one in lib folder of Glassfish and one in ear).
Then if the monitoring reports don't include SQL monitoring for the datasource declared in Glassfish, use the javamelody-objectfactory.jar including all steps as said in the doc.
Am running my application from a payara micro UberJar and would like to increase the memory allocated to the application. How can I do this at the point of creating the uberJar?
There are a couple of ways you can do this. The first way I'll mention is the preferred way:
1. Use asadmin commands
The latest edition of Payara Micro introduces an option called --postbootcommandfile which allows you to run asadmin commands against Payara Micro. Your file should include something like this:
delete-jvm-options -Xmx=512m
create-jvm-options -Xmx=1g
create-jvm-options -Xms=1g
You will need to make sure you delete the existing options before applying new ones.
You can then use the file similar to this:
java -jar payara-micro.jar --postbootcommandfile myCommands.txt --deploy myApp.war --outputuberjar myPayaraMicroApp.jar
Your settings should now persist in the resulting Uber JAR.
2. Supply a custom domain.xml
The alternative to this would be modifying a domain.xml of your own and overriding the in-built domain.xml with your own.
You can use the --rootdir option to get Payara Micro to output its configuration to a directory so you can make changes there. This process is outlined in this blog:

If you already have a custom domain.xml to hand, you can use the --domainconfig property to supply it, as follows:
java -jar payara-micro.jar --domainconfig myCustomDomain.xml --deploy myApp.war --outputuberjar myPayaraMicroApp.jar
After following either of these methods, you can simply start the resulting JAR and all the settings and configuration will be applied:
java -jar myPayaraMicroApp.jar
Payara Micro uber JAR is a plain JAR and it doesn't start a new JVM like Payara Server does. Therefore there's no way to modify JVM memory settings from within the JAR as the JVM is already started. Although it's possible to add the JVM settings into the Payara Micro configuration, they are ignored and not applied. Those configuration values are only used within Payara Server.
With Payara Micro uber JAR, you need to specify the JVM options on the command line, like this:
java -Xmx=1g -Xms=1g -jar myPayaraMicroApp.jar
If you need to specify JVM arguments in the uber JAR, you need to use a solution like capsule.io to wrap the JAR into a launcher JAR that would spawn a separate JVM for Payara Micro and pass the arguments to it.
I have been using php for CGI scripting for some time now and recently got interested in lua.
I installed the latest version of luarocks(2.1.2) and the bundled version of lua(5.1.4). I wanted to start from the basics and hence installed cgilua(5.1.4-2) and all its dependencies using "luarocks install cgilua".
I am able to run simple lua scripts using the shebang line to point to my lua interpreter but when i use it to point to the cgi launcher "cgilua.cgi.exe" to run .lp files it just won't work. I edited my httpd configuration file to allow cgi execution in my htdocs and cgi-bin directory and used the cgi-script handler for .lp pages. I am trying to run the login.lp example in the cgilua examples directory. I even added the line "Content-type:text/html" to no avail. Executing the cgilua.cgi.exe file from the command line without arguments just closes the application with the message "cgilua.cgi.exe" stopped working".
Could anyone tell me what am I missing? Maybe the launcher is supposed to be used in a different way?
I don't suppose permissions have a part to play in this as in windows all users have at least read and execute permissions.
The url I'm trying to access is http://localhost/login.lp. My apache error log shows "Premature end of script headers: login.lp" with a 500 internal server error and the same thing if I access http://localhost/cgilua.cgi.exe
I don't know what your requirements are, but perhaps it will be easier to simply use apache's mod_lua.

I was trying to install Apache Solr 4.0.0 with apache Tomcat, but it is giving an error like this:
SolrCore Initialization Failures
collection1: java.io.IOException:java.io.IOException: Can't find resource 'solrconfig.xml' in classpath or 'solr\collection1\conf/', cwd=C:\apps\tomcat-solr\apache-tomcat-7.0.35\bin
There are no SolrCores running.
Using the Solr Admin UI currently requires at least one SolrCore.
After this I have installed apache solr 3.6.2 and it working perfectly well. I still cannot understand why i am not able to use solr 4.0.0 with the same server configuration.
I hope you will be able to tell me the mistake i have committed.
The directory structure changed in Solr 4.0. Have a look at the one in the example/solr directory. You will see that Solr 4 now has collection1 directory inside that and conf directory is now one level lower inside that. That's basically what the error message said.
If you don't like that, I think you can change it by putting solr.xml with the single core definition in it and directory paths setup the way you like it.
Platform: TomEE Web profile 1.5.0.
I am trying to do a very basic thing, setup a data source for MySQL. I have read the official guide (http://openejb.apache.org/configuring-datasources.html). It asks us to enter a Resource element in openejb.xml. I can not find that file anywhere in tomee-webprofile-1.5.0. I read in other places that I could use tomee.xml for the same purpose. So, I added this to my conf/tomee.xml.

The prepareStatement() call is throwing this exception:

Why is the system using hsqldb driver? In fact, no matter what is use as name for #Resource, I get the same exception.
What am I doing wrong? I am starting TomEE from Eclipse, if that makes any difference.
I have tracked down the root cause. The problem happens only when I start TomEE from Eclipse. If I start it from command line, my data source definition works just fine.
It appears that when I run TomEE from command line, it uses configuration files from /.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0/conf. To change this, I had to take these steps in Eclipse:
Remove all deployed projects from the server.
Open server settings and from "Server Locations" choose "Use Tomcat installation". This section is greyed out if you have at least one project still deployed to the server. So, make sure you have done step #1.
Restart the server and redeploy the application. Now, my application is finding the data source.

After doing the steps in http://tomee.apache.org/tomee-and-eclipse.html (including "Workspace Metadata Installation") I got the same error "user lacks privilege or object not found".
My reaction was to:
$ ln -s [workspace_path]/Servers/tomee.xml \
[workspace_path]/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0/conf/
As an advantage of this solution TomEE in eclipse is always using the current version of Workspace/Servers/tomee.xml without any further manual operation.
For me, better solution is to put tomee.xml file in your wpt server directory (/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0/conf) and define your datasource there.
