How to fix: fatal error: openssl/opensslv.h: No such file or directory in RedHat 7 - module

I have RedHat Enterprise Linux Server 7, and I downloaded the linux kernel version 4.12.10 which I am trying to compile but when I execute the following command:
make modules
I get the following error:
scripts/sign-file.c:25:30: fatal error: openssl/opensslv.h: No such file or directory
Does anyone have an idea to fix this please ?

To fix this problem, you have to install OpenSSL development package, which is available in standard repositories of all modern Linux distributions.
To install OpenSSL development package on Debian, Ubuntu or their derivatives:
$ sudo apt-get install libssl-dev
To install OpenSSL development package on Fedora, CentOS or RHEL:
$ sudo yum install openssl-devel
Edit :
As #isapir has pointed out, for Fedora version>=22 use the DNF package manager :
dnf install openssl-devel

For Alpine Linux:
apk add openssl-dev

On CYGwin, you can install this as a typical package in the first screen. Look for
libssl-devel

for resolving this issue install:
# yum install openssl openssl-devel
and then try again to do make bzImage.

how to install python-gtk2 debian arm64 on kali?

I downloaded amd64 but it doesn't work for my system and I can't find how to download arm64
And then how to start Zenmap?
I am using mac air m2
And I'm trying to use Zenmap on Kali Linux.
So I
apt search zenmap
sudo apt install zenmap. -y
zenmap start
I entered the commands in order
And got the error below
Could not import the zenmapGUI.App module: 'No module named gtk'
If you installed Zenmap in another directory, you may have to add the modules directory to the PYTHONPATH enviroment variable.
So I entered the command below to download python-gtk2 debian
sudo apt update
sudo apt-get install alien dpkg-dev debhelper build-essential
wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/p/pygtk/python-gtk2_2.24.0-5.1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
chmod 777 python-gtk2_2.24.0-5.1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
dpkg -I python-gtk2_2.24.0-5.1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
I ran the last command above and got an error
The architecture of the package (amd64) does not match the system (arm64)
I got the error above, so I tried changing amd to arm, but it didn't connect.
How to download arm64 package?
Yes, it means that you need to find an arm package of the python-gtk.
I'm here with the same issue. M1 chip, Parrot in a VM and trying to get zenmap to work. :(

package installation into singularity

I have singularity-ce version 3.10.2 on ubuntu 20.02. I am trying to install python package. It always says
Singularity> apt-get -y update
bash: apt-get: command not found
I already have python on my local computer. How can I resolve this?

Install aerospike community server on Ubuntu 20.04

aerospike-server-community-5.2.0.2.ubuntu20.04.x86_64.deb depends python package, but Ubuntu 20.04 support only python3 and when I’m trying to install deb package I’m getting an error:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of aerospike-server-community:
aerospike-server-community depends on python; however: Package python is not installed.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install python3

pacman -S mono-complete ~ error: target not found: mono-complete | How can I get this to install? I'm using arch linux

When I try to install mono-complete, it says that the target is not found.
I've tried using just mono, but when I do that, it says that the command is not found. I'm using Arch Linux on an OVH VPS.
pacman -S mono-complete
This Returns:
error: target not found: mono-complete
I'm trying to install this so that I can access mono commands, but I cannot seem to get it installed.
Install mono package
sudo pacman -S mono

Apache installation; libpcre error

When installing Apache on Ubuntu 11.10, I get the following error:
configure: error: APR not found. Please read the documentation.
I followed the instructions here, then, I get the error below:
configure: error: pcre-config for libpcre not found. PCRE is required and available from http://pcre.org/
What am I doing wrong and how can I resolve it?
1. Download PCRE from PCRE.org
2. Compile it with a prefix and install it:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/pcre
make
make install
3. Go back to where your Apache installation is and compile Apache with PCRE:
--with-pcre=/usr/local/pcre
For me (Fedora Linux), it was enough to just install the pcre-devel: yum install -y pcre-devel. Didn't even have to use --with-pcre afterwards.
Debian
In a clean installation of Debian 9.5, during the installation of Apache it is necessary to have some packages and libraries to avoid errors. Next I show the type of error and its respective solution
Configuration
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential
configure: error: pcre-config for libpcre not found. PCRE is required and available from http://pcre.org/
$ sudo apt-get install libpcre3-dev
Then I make the configuration indicating that it is installed in the path /usr/local and not in /usr/local/apache2, otherwise I will have library errors. The idea is that the libraries created for httpd end in /usr/local/lib so that the dynamic linker knows them.
$ configure --prefix /usr/local
Compilation
And for the compilation the following the installation of some packages also would avoid us errors in a clean installation of Debian.
xml/apr_xml.c:35:19: fatal error: expat.h: No such file or directory.
$ sudo apt-get install libexpat1-dev.
It is recommended to use the -j3 parameter to make the compilation faster. Although it could also be ignored.
$ make -j3
I was other problem compiling apache2 in CentOS with pcre. I installed pcre in other location "/custom/location/pcre" and configure command throw the following error
configure: error: Did not find pcre-config script at "/custom/location/pcre"
to solve it changing the flag --with-pcre=/custom/location/pcre to --with-pcre=/custom/location/pcre/bin/pcre2-config
BTW, on CentOS 7.6 before building httpd, please install pcre-devel
`$ sudo yum install pcre-devel`
In RHEL 3 is not necessary setting parameter --with-pcre pointing to pcre-config. Only need pcre path
My configure command:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache2 --with-pcre=/usr/local/pcre
This worked for me:
sudo apt-get install libpcre3-dev
In ubuntu
This worked for me
./configure --prefix /u01/apache --with-included-apr --with-pcre=/usr/local/pcre/bin/pcre2-config
