I was wondering if it is possible to create my custom SQL template in Datagrip.
As users of Datagrip know, if you type sel and then wait or press Ctrl+Space, a panel is shown with options. One of them is the template for:
Select * from ;
How could I create my own?
I have found out that if you type in a new file, for example:
sel and then hit CTRL+space
it will show:
Click the yellow lamp in the right top corner of the popup. It will show another menu with "Edit live template settings" option inside it where you can create your own templates.
Go to Settings → Editor → Live Templates
Also, follow official custom live template creation guidance.

I'm trying create a custom shortcut in IntelliJ to generate some predefined comments.
For example, if I write //-- and press enter, it should auto-generate:
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
The Postfix Completetion feature looks like it could be used for this but I didn't figure out how to set it up for this scenario. Can someone help?
If Postfix Completetion is not the answer, can I do it with another feature?
You can create a Live Template (Preferences | Editor | Live Templates). For example, a template like the following:
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
$END$
//------------------------------------------------------------------------------//
The $END$ indicates where the text cursor will be placed when the Live Template text is inserted. At the bottom of the Live Template settings screen you can configure in which languages/contexts the Live Template should be available.
I created some batch work and integrated it as ExternalTool to the IntelliJ IDEA. as described here: Configure Intellij IDEA to run batch file
But how can I add buttons to my toolbar that will activate the batch that defined as external tool?
It is quite easy.
Assuming that you already have an External Tool configured just right click on the menu bar and choose Customize Menus and Toolbars...:
Next step is to mark the last item (whatever that is in your setup) in Main Toolbar and select Add After...:
Now you can select your external tool from the Choose Actions To Add window (here you can also select an icon to use):
Action has been added:
And your button has been added to the toolbar:
I have downloaded and installed various module for scrolling text horizontally using these websites.
After I created new module and point out the position of that module, I can view that module in my web page. The text didn't appear because I didn't mention it in my module.
In Both of those modules, I couldn't find out that where have to I place the text to be scrolled in that particular modules?
I have searched a lot. But I couldn't get anything.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thank you in advanced!
These extensions display text from articles. So all you have to do is simpley:
Create a category in the Content Manager
Create some articles and assign them to your newly created category
In the Module settings, there will be an option to choose which category you wish to display the articles from, simply select your category
Hope this helps
There is no need of using any other modules for scrolling the text.
I used Custom HTML as menu type and write the code on editor.
The steps I have done as below:
Go to site -> Global configuration -> set Editor-None in default editor
Go to Extension-> module Manager -> New -> select the module type as Custom HTML
Copy the html code for scrolling text and Paste it in the text part and save the module.
Check your site. Now, your site is having the scrolling text. Then, You can change the Editor as before.
I have modified EditForm.aspx of a list in SharePoint 2010. I need to launch the dialog window (that's what EditForm.aspx seems to be launched as) maximized, but I haven't been able to find the correct setting to tweak.
A quick web search suggests to use the showMaximized:true style setting, but I am unable to find the element in EditForm.aspx to apply this attribute to.
If you want to remove ALL dialogs from a list, go to:
list settings -> advanced -> dialog -> turn them off
But if you just want to change the edit button, you will probably have to create a new edit <CustomAction> that uses javascript, see this example:
http://www.chakkaradeep.com/post/Using-the-SharePoint-2010-Modal-Dialog.aspx
Its for a different button, but you should get the idea.
And then you will need to build a <HideCustomAction> to hide the original edit button
Check this : http://www.wawawum.com/blog/post.aspx?id=66a5aed2-f530-4687-bd42-1ef0fb379544
Add a Content Editor WebPart to your EditForm, then put the code found in this blog to maximize the Dialog when opening it.
Works very well for me.
I'm building a plugin, and adding an entry to the context menu (right-click on a folder in the project tree).
So far it works, following this tutorial:
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/article.php?file=Article-JFaceWizards/index.html
The problem is that it's adding my entry in the root of the context menu. Since my entry refers to a "New XXX" wizard, I want it to go to the "New" submenu.
It seems like I would have to set the correct locationURI or menuPath in my plugin.xml. However I can't find the locationURI or menuPath corresponding to that submenu. How can I find that?
The new contributions are menu ID based, not menu path based. So it should be something like:
<menuContribution
locationURI="menu:file?after=additions" />
See this SO answer for an example of locationUri.
See Menu Extension for more. The exact id is either:
found in the existing plugin.xml from the menu or
determined with plugin Spy
See "How to add items in popup menu?" (from justinmreina) for more on adding an entry to a menu.
If you've created a plugin for a 'New XXX' wizard, you can add it inside the 'New' menu that you see when you right-click inside the Navigator by customizing the perspective.
Go to Window -> Customize Perspective and click on the Shortcuts tab. You should see 'New XXX'. Select it and you're good to go.
