Videojs : How can I disable play/pause on click? - video.js

I am using the videojs framework.
I want to implement click action.
When I click the player, I want to get information about mouse position (x,y) and current time in video.
However, I don't want to play/pause video.
and I want to show control bar.
How can I do?
Here is body part (below)
<video
id="myvideo"
class="video-js"
controls
preload="auto"
data-setup='{}'>
<source src="http://media.w3.org/2010/05/sintel/trailer.mp4" type="video/mp4"></source>
<source src="http://media.w3.org/2010/05/sintel/trailer.webm" type="video/webm"></source>
<source src="http://media.w3.org/2010/05/sintel/trailer.ogv" type="video/ogg"></source>
<p class="vjs-no-js">
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a
web browser that
<a href="http://videojs.com/html5-video-support/" target="_blank">
supports HTML5 video
</a>
</p>
</video>
<script type="text/javascript">
videoElement = document.getElementById("myvideo");
videoElement.addEventListener("mousedown", mouseHandler, false);
function getElementCSSSize(el) {
var cs = getComputedStyle(el);
var w = parseInt(cs.getPropertyValue("width"), 10);
var h = parseInt(cs.getPropertyValue("height"), 10);
return {width: w, height: h}
}
function mouseHandler(event) {
var size = getElementCSSSize(this);
var scaleX = this.videoWidth / size.width;
var scaleY = this.videoHeight / size.height;
var rect = this.getBoundingClientRect(); // absolute position of element
var x = ((event.clientX - rect.left) * scaleX + 0.5)|0; // round to integer
var y = ((event.clientY - rect.top ) * scaleY + 0.5)|0;
console.log("x : " + x);
console.log("y : " + y);
console.log("Video Current Time :" + videoElement.currentTime);
}
</script>
I tried this code in css file.
.vjs-tech {
pointer-events: none;
}
If I write this statement, video player don't play or stop when I click the video. But, my mouseHandler action is also didn't work.
My videojs version is 6.2.0

I solved this problem. In my click event, I implemented play toggle action again.
function mouseHandler(event) {
if(video.paused()){
video.play();
}
else{
video.pause();
}
var size = getElementCSSSize(this);
var scaleX = this.videoWidth / size.width;
var scaleY = this.videoHeight / size.height;
var rect = this.getBoundingClientRect(); // absolute position of element
var x = ((event.clientX - rect.left) * scaleX + 0.5)|0; // round to integer
var y = ((event.clientY - rect.top ) * scaleY + 0.5)|0;
console.log("x : " + x);
console.log("y : " + y);
console.log("Video Current Time :" + videoElement.currentTime);
}

I solved this problem by css and changing option setting.
css:
.video-js.vjs-has-started .vjs-tech {
pointer-events: none;
}
JS:
var options = {controlBar: {
children: [
"durationDisplay",
"timeDivider",
"currentTimeDisplay",
"fullscreenToggle"
]
}};
var player = videojs('my-player', options);

Load WebGL texture from HTML5 video element in sync

If a WebGL texture is loaded from an HTML5 video element repeatedly, how can I sync the load procedure, eg. load the texture and render the WebGL scene exactly once for every video frame?
In Chrome there is now requestVideoFrameCallback
Example from the spec:
<body>
<video controls></video>
<canvas width="640" height="360"></canvas>
<span id="fps_text"/>
</body>
<script>
function startDrawing() {
var video = document.querySelector('video');
var canvas = document.querySelector('canvas');
var ctx = canvas.getContext('2d');
var paint_count = 0;
var start_time = 0.0;
var updateCanvas = function(now) {
if(start_time == 0.0)
start_time = now;
ctx.drawImage(video, 0, 0, canvas.width, canvas.height);
var elapsed = (now - start_time) / 1000.0;
var fps = (++paint_count / elapsed).toFixed(3);
document.querySelector('#fps_text').innerText = 'video fps: ' + fps;
video.requestVideoFrameCallback(updateCanvas);
}
video.requestVideoFrameCallback(updateCanvas);
video.src = "http://example.com/foo.webm"
video.play()
}
</script>
replace ctx.drawImage with your WebGL code

jQuery-Knob to control web audio api panning

So I have a panning feature with a basic HTML input range I am using the following javascript code to control the panning:
var x = this.valueAsNumber,
y = 0,
z = 1 - Math.abs(x);
panner2.setPosition(x,y,z);
Any idea how to implement it with jQuery-Knob library? I have done it with volume control using change function and reading in value but panning uses more than one value so unsure how to implement it.
Example implementation. I did this using another formula for equal power panning and it isn't perfect but maybe it can help you understand how to affect variables with the knob plug in.
<div class = "container">
<div id="pad" style=""></div>
<input id="panDial" class="dial" data-min="0" data-max="360" value="0" data-width="100">
</div>
$(function() {
var audioContext = new AudioContext();
var oscillator;
var val;
var x = 0;
var y = 0;
var z = 0;
var xDeg = 0;
var zDeg = xDeg + 90;
var valuePanDial = document.getElementById("panDial").value;
$(".dial").knob({
change: function(valuePanDial) {
xDeg = +valuePanDial;
zDeg = 180 - zDeg;
x = Math.sin(xDeg * (Math.PI / 180));
z = Math.sin(zDeg * (Math.PI / 180));
}
});
$("#pad").on("mousedown", function() {
oscillator = audioContext.createOscillator();
var panner = audioContext.createPanner();
panner.setPosition(x, y, z);
panner.panningModel = 'equalpower';
oscillator.frequency.value = 100;
oscillator.type = "sawtooth";
oscillator.connect(panner); // Connects it to output
panner.connect(audioContext.destination);
oscillator.start(audioContext.currentTime);
})
$("#pad").on("mouseup", function() {
oscillator.stop(audioContext.currentTime);
})
});
.container{
position:relative;
top:30px;
width:700px;
left:40%;
}
#pad {
background-color:orange;
margin-bottom:20px;
opacity:0.8;
border-style:solid;
border-color:grey;
width:200px;
height:100px;
}
#freqDial{
width:10px;
height: 10px;
}

dojo 1.7 IE9 widget function call not triggering

I'm trying to add a button to a custom pallete to call a function "uiFileInputDlg" which is in the workspace that uses the widget. The upbtn appears on the pallete, but it is not triggering the DoUpload function which is connected in postcreate to then call on "uiFileInputDlg".
works flawlessly in firefox.

Update
this.connect(this.btnUpNode, "onclick", "DoUpload");
to be
this.connect(this.btnUpNode, "onClick", "DoUpload");
onclick is a dom event, onClick is a dijit event. Since you are using a dijit button you want to use the latter.

jQuery - Animation content inside a div when it becomes the current container on a horizontal slider

The Setup I have a full screen horizontal slider with 5+ divs that moves to the left when you click on an anchor link. I have some basic knowledge of jquery, and did attempted to use (scrollLeft). But the div is the wrapper div is hiding over flow and doesn't really go anywhere.
The goal is to animate the content inside the container div when it becomes the current container, and undo animation when it does to a different div.
The Issue: I got the animation to play, but have no control over when it starts.
The HTML
<div class="contentItem" id="content2">
<div id="top-box"></div>
<div id="bottom-box"></div>

Tab App fluid width not working

I have a tab app set to fluid on both height and width. Height is no problem ... it is the width that is not working so a good portion of my page (which is only 648px wide) is not showing up. We intentionally set the width to be less than the max so we wouldn't have this problem. To view you can go to the Arrow Fasteners page ... contest or like us to enter tabs.
Tab Apps are only working with a fixed width: 520px. Only height is settable.
Fluid Width is only for Canvas Apps (apps.facebook.com/app-name), that's why these settings are prefixed with "Canvas" (Canvas Width, Canvas Height).

Add your AppID and the following codes, above the closing body tag. It will work perfectly on tabs.
<script type="text/javascript">

window.document.childNodes[0].appendChild( fb_root );
}
