Basically, I am trying to re-create Excels SUMIF function within the custom code section of SSRS. I have data that started coming in later than the majority of my data, and I want to perform a sum only if the data is available.

I have tried many versions of a public function and I am still getting the #Error result.
Anyone have any ideas?
It looks like my issue was that I was missing CINT() for the field values. I added them and it seems to be working fine.
In your Numerator sum field, try this.

=Sum(IIF(Fields!Denominator.Value = "", 0, Fields!Numerator.Value))

I am hoping to get some help on a formula I've been banging my head against the wall over. Essentially I am using Concatenate to produce a formula, when this is then copied into the final cell, it won't execute. I've tried using the hidden Eval function but that doesn't work for this specific part, however, it does for the other. The only thing that seems to solve it is either pressing Enter on each cell, or using the Find/Replace function. However, I need this to happen automatically. I've recorded using Find/Replace without any luck. The displayed color aspect is a custom function that works perfectly. I have had to change some of the wording for sensitivity reasons.
Concatenate Part:
=CONCATENATE("=IF(DisplayedColor(",I3,")=38,",eval(I3)*100,",""",E3,")")
Result to Execute:
=IF(DisplayedColor('[Spreadsheet]Tab1'!$BV$19)=38,-6.43801947500129,"")
Use the Indirect Function as follows:
Formula = INDIRECT(CONCATENATE("=IF(DisplayedColor(",I3,")=38,",eval(I3)*100,",""",E3,")"))
The INDIRECT function is useful when you want to return a value, based on a text string.
I have this statement nested in an IF-Statement under a scenario. I would like it to format column 2 into a Accounting number without decimal places. How can this be done using VB.net? The current code gives me ex: 1,000,000.00 on an input of 1000000. I noticed excel has buttons for adding or subtracting decimal places. Could these be called within VB.net? Thanks!

From what i understand you want, you can do:
math.floor(*insert the value or variable you want here*)
What that does is it changes the number in the parameter to the biggest integer lower than the parameter.

My report code:

the problem when i am displaying the report it looks like this

which is not what i want. i want the original value inside my database is this possible without doing such code? please take a look of the picture below.

I am writing data into an excel spreadsheet. The data comes from an Access Database. Code like the line below works:
xl.cells(5,5)="joe"
but code like the line below does not:
xl.cells(5,5)="1/2CD438"
I get an error like "Application defined or object defined error"
I think Excel is trying to do a calculation, and the calculation fails. All I really want is the text string.
I've tried formating the column like
columns(1).NumberFormat="#"
, but it doesn't work either.
Any ideas?
Thanks for all the input. I had tried several of your ideas without success. As it turns out I was using variables to determine the exact row, column as:
xl.cells(NextRow, Col) = ars!PartNo
By simply replacing NextRow with an integer, the code worked. Replaced the integer in the test with NextRow, and the code ran. I suspect a misspelling or something, but couldn't see it looking at the code.

I'm trying to use either PERCENTILE.EXC, PERCENTILE.INC or PERCENTILE.
Looking at FormulaParserManager.GetImplementedFunctionNames() these are not implemented functions.
I wondered if I could set the formula and leave it to Excel to calculate. So far I've not got this to work and I get a #NAME? and "The formula contains unrecognized text". Merely clicking in the formula bar causes the formula to be calculated correctly.
Inspecting the internals of the Excel file I am creating (via EPPlus):
_xludf.PERCENTILE.EXC(B14:B113,0.95)
whereas in Excel I get:
_xlfn.PERCENTILE.EXC(A14:A113,0.95)
I think this is user defined function vs function. I've tried prefixing "_xlfn." to my formula string.
This is as far as I've got I think I either need to roll my own percentile calculation in code or manipulate the xml in the Excel file maybe.
Any help appreciated.
