Beyond Compare 4 - Not showing the proper aliment for differences

Hi All I am comparing two text files , using beyond compare V4 and it is showing differences as below snapshot.
Right file does not have CollectionCash and left file does not have CollectionsCO values. It should show blank/missing lines for values which are not present in either of files. I want to compare based on the first word fully matched in lines. I tried different rules but no luck. Please suggest how can i achieve this.
Thanks
Beyond Compare's default Text Compare settings align based on partial matches. To only align exact matches:
Click the Rules toolbar button (referee icon).
Go to the Alignment tab.
Check Never align differences and click OK.

PDFBOX - WordUtils.wrap - need to display bold and non-bolded text on same line

I am a newbie to pdfbox AND java - trying to replicate a pdf letter with logos formatting etc. I need to use mixed font (bold) within a sentence. Presently appending paragraph string, using WordUtils.wrap, then begin.Text , etc. to parse and display (drawString has strikethrough cannot select this - I did find info for multi font using it). As field values will vary in text and length, I cannot simply search on, split and change font to display. Unable to use tags to do this (OMG I've tried everything I can think of!), but hoping there is a way to use a single char identifier for beginning of bold and another for end of bold??? One issue is that no guarantee the identifiers would end up on the same line of the paragraph. UGH. Everything else is perfect, EXCEPT the text I need to bold. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I am required to use pdfbox to accomplish this - cannot use Itext. Help please! Thank you!!
SOLVED - I figured it out. Thank you for your suggestions!
I did not want to use positioning, needing to keep it as simple as possible. We'll eventually need to implement hundreds of letters. I Am using Utils.wrap strictly as a line parser, not formatting, so that is cool.
Using 2 identifiers - 3 checks -
1) both on the same line,
2) beginning bold on one line, and
3) end bold on another line.
Using split string by " " and checks equal to identifiers. Formatting is perfect. Going forward may need to modify, if for some crazy reason identifiers are contained in letter text.
It works for the 1st roll-out. Thanks again - your help is much appreciated!!!

How do I fill out fillable PDF Form fields using 4gl?

I have a PDF form that I'm filling out with data using progress-4gl. To date, I've been only filling in text fields using the following syntax:
put stream stream1 unform
"^global CHX_SINGLE_CE_PLAN3" skip(0)
"X" skip
CHX_SINGLE_CE_PLAN3 is the field name...
This code works when dealing with text fields but I'm trying to check a box instead of fill in a text field. I cannot find any documentation on this. Is checking a box on a fillable pdf form even possible with 4gl?
As far as I remember PDF Include has support for filling fillable forms. Whilst it's probably a bit over the top in terms of what you want to achieve, it's an open source project and so you may well find the answer to your question within the code itself.
Here's a link to the project page: http://www.oehive.org/pdfinclude
I discovered the answer, which I thought I had already tried before asking this question. The answer is you need to pass the value "Yes" (with capital "Y") in order to check the checkbox. The correct code in this instance is:
put stream stream1 unform
"^global CHX_SINGLE_CE_PLAN3" skip(0)
"Yes" skip
I believe this is the case no matter which language you're using

Formatting Marks also show and hides tables

I have a weird bug.
The below report is built from from a complex Excel Macro and below is a single page from the report output. The page is built from a range so the report is all in tables which is fine.
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-A_d72xVQXtfmVQUFFHdmVvUUdldUpLT1dmRnk4bXowaDNtUWt0eE5yeE1mZHRKNEpyck0&usp=sharing
The problem I am having is that the table Excel has put into this particular page (and about 1-2 others), is that the "show/hide formatting marks" button (e.g. the backwards P at the top of word) also show and hides the table and anything in the table.
I can expand on this as much as needed and have provided a download link as the only way to really show it is for it to be seen by turning the formatting marks on and off. I have removed text on that sheet as some of it is sensitive.
Excel code being used to copy and paste is below. This code works fine for the other 100-200 pages.
Sheets(curr_sheet).Range(sp(0), sp(1)).Copy
oDoc.ActiveWindow.Selection.Paste
any ideas?
I have found the answer thanks to #Tim Williams pointing me in the right direction.
It was because of the hidden text flag being set to true, I do not know how it got set to true as I can not find any reason for it to be.
Anyway if anyone else is looking this sloved my problem
oDoc.ActiveWindow.Selection.WholeStory'select everything
oDoc.ActiveWindow.Selection.Font.Hidden = False'Turn hidden off for whole document

Eliminate stray whitespace between textboxes on a report

I have 4 stacked textboxes in the body of an SSRS report and am getting a stray space / extra line between textboxes 3 & 4.
This is for an address block - name / title / email / website. Can't put it in a single textbox with intervening vbcrlf tokens because the email and website are links. I've tried formatting it to remove vertical spacing; also calculated the exact position by taking top + height to calculate the position. And of course I've tried positioning it so there are exactly 0 pixels between the text boxes. If I reverse the position of #3 & #4 the rendering looks the same so it isn't stray formatting characters in the data fields.
The solution is to wrap the stacked boxes in a rectangle.
I had this problem as well. It blew my mind until I started over on another part of the form. The new boxes worked perfectly until I moved them to the right of another set of text boxes which had some word wrap in them. I realized the wordwrapped boxes were directly related to the gaps I was seeing the set of textboxes to the right. I guess there's some kind of poor markup going on that tries to line things up horizontally and enclosing the set of textboxes in a rectangle protects them from it.
good idea on putting the info into a table - jumping off that idea - I'm going to construct a dynamic string in my query and output the dynamic string into a textbox. thank you for the idea, I don't know why I didn't think to do that.
Simpler thing is to just check text alignment - the default is "default" which appears to be centered. Changing the text box to the right to "left" fixed this problem for me.
Reduce padding property of the textbox.
Once dragging the textbox one closer to the other the tooltip shows convergence points between two textboxes - make tooltip show 0 points
it is best I could do to control the spacing
