I am getting the Java IO Exception while connecting the Webmethods Designer 9.12.
Connection failed for localhost:5555 (java.io.IOException)
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?
I can able to access the IS admin page and tried looking error in the server log
enter image description here
but didnot get anything in particular. Below is the error screenshot:enter image description here
What are your settings? Should be without SSL, can you check?
Are you able to open http://localhost:5555 in browser?

What we are trying to do is send an email from a pod (running Linux based on the image "microsoft/dotnet") on a client's Openshift environment using MailKit:
https://github.com/jstedfast/MailKit
We get an exception thrown when trying to set up the SSL Handshake:
MailKit.Security.SslHandshakeException: An error occurred while
attempting to establish an SSL or TLS connection.
System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Error occurred
during a cryptographic operation
We have tried using the.NET SMTP client as well and it worked (using a secure connection)! Unfortunately this component is now obsolete and Microsoft recommends to use MailKit.
Going through the .NET source code the exception raised is a generic catch all exception which looks like it comes from unexpected code returned from the OpenSSL library. Unfortunately I can't see how to get the error code (it is logged using "Debug.Fail", but I am unable to setup a trace to see it) so I am not sure what it is.
I have written a test just to build the X509Chain. When we have the Revocation Mode set to Online (the default) we get the exception. When the revocation is disabled it seems to build the chain OK.
When I run the test on our Test Openshift environment that is totally independent to the client's we get the following error, but do not see the exception: "unable to get certificate CRL"
The only thing I have noticed about the Revocation List is that there is a LDAP and HTTP URLs. Perhaps there is an issue processing the LDAP URL?
Any help on this would be appreciated!
This is something you should report to github.com/microsoft/dotnet
We are using Load Runner 12.50 .
While recording the native app using proxy mode , am getting error message
stating "Cannot establish a secure
connection to the client, message=A call to SSPI failed, see inner
exception."
Due to this error , scripts are not recorded in Actions
Can anybody please help us how solve this error . So their any setting which
need to be done under Load Runner .
Thanks,
Prabhakar.Y
Can you set the proxy on the handheld to connect to the PC running VUGEN? If not, you may have a firewall rule either on the local PC set by group policy object or within your network infrastructure which is preventing this communication. This is the most common reason why you cannot record in proxy mode.
I have migrated an application from WL 8 to WL 10 and set up my managed servers. They indicate that they are running, but when I try to access the site it throws a 404. This is my first time deploying anything on 10 so I could be missing something. Any ideas? Please let me know what additional information could be helpful. edit: I had this working, added a db connection and now it fails.

You got a weblogic.management.DeploymentException and this means that something went wrong in some server even if everything seems OK from the console.
Underlying error is from weblogic.management.configuration.JDBCSystemResourceMBeanImpl so I would review datasource config is appropiate for every target in your environment. Also check that datasource targets are the same as web application targets and JDBC drivers are available at managed servers classpath as well.
Try to log to the WebLogic Admin console and see what is the status of your application.
You can use the 'Testing' tab of your deployment to see the URL that the application has been deployed to. This will assist you in the troubleshooting process.
If you don't see anything here to test there are a few possible reasons, including the following:
The application failed to deploy and/or is not 'Active'
You are using a cluster and no managed servers are running
You have managed servers running but they are not in a 'RUNNING' state
I have problem with WCF on IIS when using diagnostics.
When I call the service I get the following error:
System.Net.WebException: The remote
server returned an error: (500)
Internal Server Error..
If I remove "system.diagnostics" section I dont get error 500 but I get an error
The requested service,
'http://localhost/CustomerServiceSite/Customer.svc'
could not be activated. See the
server's diagnostic trace logs for
more information..
Which obviously needs diagnostics to get fixed.
Any idea why diagnostics doesnt work?
Check event log on web server - http 500 should be logged there. Also check that Account running your AppPool in IIS has access rights to file used for diagnostics.
The diagnostics will write a trace file to disk - maybe the user account WCF/ASP.NET is running under doesn't have permissions to write the file.
If I opened my service in browser (http://localhost/CustomerServiceSite/Customer.svc) I have seen the whole error.
The problem was becouse I used NHibernate and Diagnostics in wrong way. Commenting NHibernate configuration solved my problem.
I am building an application and I am using web services for getting data from a server. It was working fine when I was developing on my XP machine but had to switch to Windows 7. On the new machine I grabbed the latest version of the code using sourcesafe.
However, when I try to add a service reference in the solution or update an existing one I get the following error:
There was an error downloading 'http://localhost:52490/Service/CustomerService.asmx'.
The request failed with the error message:
Server Error in '/' Application.

Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved: 'http://localhost:52490/Service/CustomerService.asmx'.
An error occurred while receiving the HTTP response to http://localhost:52490/Service/CustomerService.asmx. This could be due to the service endpoint binding not using the HTTP protocol. This could also be due to an HTTP request context being aborted by the server (possibly due to the service shutting down). See server logs for more details.
The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.
Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
Does it has anything to do with the IIS or is it any configuration file I have to change in the solution?
Any help is appreciated.
How do you deploy your app to the server? Via a zip file?
Perhaps it extracts the files without the path.
