Get Date From Google Custom Search API - api

How i can get date data like that google search. Is it possible to get it?
I never found it in google custom search API. The second picture i post is only snippet which got date and some description about it. The first picture from google search news and the second is google custom search

The following API request returns metadata, like published time, only if it is mentioned in its HTML source.
GET https://www.googleapis.com/customsearch/v1?key=APIkey&cx=CustomSearchEngineID&q=rambo
And refer to the "metatags" section
And Voila!
Hope that helps :)

How to use exactTerms and excludeTerms with Google Custom Search JSON API

I've been working with Google Custom Search API and faced some inconveniences I hope you can help me with.
Google Custom Search API offers as a parameter in its call the possibility to search by an exact text as well as exclude it from results: exactTerms and excludeTerms. However, the q parameter is mandatory and cannot be ignored, so if I want to search only by an specific text I just can't.
So how can I do a query using JSON API that contains specifically the text I want? Does the q parameter work as the search form in Google?
If I want results including 'foo', should I do this:
service.cse().list(cx=const.SEARCH_ENGINE_KEY, q='"foo"').execute()
or this?:
service.cse().list(cx=const.SEARCH_ENGINE_KEY, q=None, exactTerms='foo').execute()
Thank you in advance for your time.
Due to the success on the answers (hehe) I'm posting my own conclusions. Please, if you've any facts regarding the original question, please post it.
I've been testing with some calls to Google CSE API and looks like you can pass to q parameter the same query you'd do in Google's main page textfield. So (at least for my needs), you don't need exactTerms and excludeTerms to get what I was trying to achieve.
Anyway, as I said before, if you know how to work with these parameters I'm sure everybody will thank you.

Get wikitext from wikipedia API?

I'm looking at the API documentation here,
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Query
Getting the wikitext for a page is mentioned in the beginning of the documentation,
The action=query module allows you to get information about a wiki and the data stored in it, such as the wikitext of a particular page, the links and categories of a set of pages, or the token you need to change wiki content.
but I cant seem to figure out what parameters to pass in the API request to return the wikitext for a given page. Anyone know how to do this?
I've tried parameters like,
{'action':'query', 'titles':'Anarchism', 'prop':'wikitext', 'format':'json'}
You must use this query .
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=revisions&rvprop=content&format=json&titles=Anarchism&rvslots=main

Accessing full url of all page images Wikipedia API

I'm experimenting with the Wikipedia API and was trying to get the full urls for all images on a particular page, in this example Google's main page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google).
I found the page id through the use of another API and then attempted to use this information in the following API to get the full urls of all images on that page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&pageids=1092923&generator=images&prop=imageinfo&iiprop=url|dimensions|mime&format=xml
I get some of the page images from this but cannot understand why I am not getting all - specifically the logo which is what I was most interested in. Apologies I am aware that there are similar questions which have been asked but I was not able to find one which would assist me here.
The API does not give you all results at once, it defaults to 10 results. You see in the beginning answer that you have a value for the parameter gimcontinue. If you use it like this you get more images: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&pageids=1092923&generator=images&prop=imageinfo&iiprop=url|dimensions|mime&format=xml&gimcontinue=1092923|Google_bike.jpg
Alternatively, you can ask for more images at once using gimlimit like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&pageids=1092923&generator=images&prop=imageinfo&iiprop=url|dimensions|mime&format=xml&gimlimit=500

Google Custom Search API curl trouble

I'm a newbie at stackoverflow so please be patient with me :)
I'm trying to get access with the Google Custom Search API.
But I get return that I can't understand.
My query is like this:
https://www.googleapis.com/customsearch/v1?&key=********&q=red%2Bsox&cx=**********&start=0&num=10&cr=countryCA&lr=lang_fr&client=google-csbe&output=xml_no_dtd
And the result I get is this?
string '{"error": {"errors": [{"domain": "global","reason": "invalid","message": "Invalid Value"}],"code": 400,"message": "Invalid Value"}}' (length=172)
What am I doing wrong?
I want the result from Google to appear.
Thanks in advance :)
You don't have a cx.
Take a look at this answer
What happens is because this api is used mostly for adding a search option
for your site you have to specify you custom search engine (e.g. search only your site).
When you want this to search the web by code you need to do the above. Add a fake
site (where you would add your search textbox), configure it (search the web, or your site, or whatever else) and then delete the fake site
Update
Oh god, i just saw that. Sorry. Well the problem is that you start with 0. Valid is 1. Change start=0 with start=1 and i think you would be good to go. Take a look at this for valid values for the start parameter official page

How can i remake the return from Google search api?

How can i use Google search api to get like on the google engine, title of website,a short description and URL. Is it possible?
I tried the api but it gives me only some information that doesn`t have a url or title to a website.
Using the Google shopping api, you can retrieve the title, short description and url. I've achieved this in a c# application where it returns a json file from the url below and parse over it.
You need a apiId to start with.
Using this url you can add search parameters after the q, in this example just searching for digital camera.
https://www.googleapis.com/shopping/search/v1/public/products?key=key&country=US&q=digital+camera
See http://code.google.com/apis/shopping/search/v1/getting_started.html
for more details
I'm not sure that I have enough information, but I find the Google Custom Search API reference page has the reference JSON/ATOM examples:
https://code.google.com/apis/customsearch/v1/reference.html
This query will get you started:
https://www.googleapis.com/customsearch/v1?key={YOURAPIKEY}&cx={cx?}&cref={cref?}&q=st%20olaf
Does this get you started?
Take care!
