Moodle - Hide block of Miscellaneous and Login activity - authentication

I want to hide Miscellaneous and Login activity block from User profile of moodle and add change password option. Any idea ?

These 2 blocks cannot be removed by customizing the profile page. This can be achieved by editing the source code.

B2C Hide the Social Intro

I updated our version of self asserted to 2.1.2 to address the new password reset flow. Doing this has added the social_intro to our custom log in page.
I have added the local_intro_generic to the page and it works fine, However the social_intro still show up. We are not allowing for any social login and I don't want it displayed. I can edit it... but I don't see a way to hide it either in the documents or any other search.
You can edit the html file that is getting referenced for that page. Hide the divs that you don't need after checking the class names of the divs using inspect element.

Shopify Liquid: Adding Sections to the Login Template

I have a client request to add manageable content to the login page. I assume this would work like managing any other page, simply create a section with the necessary schema and markup, then include that section ({% section 'section_name' %}) in the customers/login.liquid theme template. Problem is I don't see an option to select the login page in the page selection drop-down when customizing the theme. How do I allow my client to customize the login page via sections?
Thanks!
The actual login template cannot have manageable sections.
The closest workaround is to create a custom page template that includes a login form. The page can include manageable sections that are accessible when customizing the theme. The only issue is that all the automatically generated login url links will not go to this page, so any instances of those links need to be adjusted in the theme.
You can manually tell the customizer where to go by adding a hash(#) at the end of the url, followed by the shopify site path you want to visit/edit.
https://<domain>.myshopify.com/admin/themes/<theme-id>/editor#/account/login
Once you enter this in the browser url bar, you'll need to hit enter twice to get the page to reload properly.
If you do this and find it keeps sending you back to the homepage, it means that accounts are disabled on the Shopify store. You can change this by going to:
Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout > Customer accounts
Then selecting either: Accounts are optional // Account are required

Deleting buddypress account without deleting user

I've recently started using Buddypress in conjunction with a plugin called memberpress on a site, and am running into a problem:
Basically, if you're logged in to the site, as the Admin for example, and you go to the buddypress profile page link, you're automatically set up with a buddypress membership/profile and listed in the member directory.
I don't want everyone who logs into the site to just automatically/accidentally become a buddypress member and to be listed in the directory.
So I need to A)know how to delete the buddypress membership when that occurs without deleting the user and their ability to log into the site and B)better yet, stop buddypress from automatically assigning membership without purposeful signup.
Any insight would be helpful, thanks!
Buddy press works not connection but using the user table for users profiles. It means if you delete user or buddy press profile both result same delete both.
It might possible
Case 1 hide buddy press profile from public by deregister profile for the user
Case 2 hide user from member directory only.

SQL Script to set DNN page permissions and add an existing module to a page

I have a DNN site with a broken login screen. All urls (incl ?ctl=login) are not displaying the account login module so I am trying to create a new login page via the SQL database only.
I am looking for a script to do 3 things (ideally as a single script):
1) create a new page
2) give this new page 'All Users' permission to 'View Tab' and 'Edit Tab'
3) add the account login module to this new page
I hope this will be a workaround to gain access to site in order to fix underlying issue.
In general this is caused by the set login (Admin Site settings > Advanced settings) page not containing a login module.
Although not a direct answer to you question, the easier way to fix this is to remove the set login page for the portal.
In DNN 5+ check out the PortalLocalization table and look for the LoginTabId, reset that to NULL and you should be able to login again.

Joomla mod_login vs com_user

I'm having a very weird issue with user logins.
I'm building a site where all the content/menus are only available after you login.
I made a 'login' through the Modules and assign it the "userlogin" position.
Now when I go to the home page or any page, the login box comes up, but there's also a second login form. It seems to be coming from com_user.
This com_user login form doesn't work. I can't login using any credentials. If it was working I can simply remove my login module.
Is there a way I can either:
get com_user to work with normal user logins
or
disable this and so I can only see the Module login.
I can hide it from CSS, but I want to know where it's coming from.
Check the menu link which you have created should be public.
If these are not public then whenever user clicks it, he/she will be asked for login. Thats why the second login option is coming up.
