Hiding specific columns within a custom HTML Rally app using the SDK - rally

I'm writing a Cardboard app using the AppSDK within a Custom HTML app. So far, it is displaying properly (rendering all columns, column headers).
Is there a way to target and hide certain columns and their headers from within the Cardboard app code? I can hide them using their CSS ID's.... However, this occurs after the app has rendered and results in a bit of an eyesore as the original app width will not resize.
TL;DR Rally Custom Kanban board (AppSDK) contains 6 User Story states. I want to hide the second and fourth states while still showing the other four.

There's an example in the docs that show how to create a board that has a specific set of columns: https://help.rallydev.com/apps/2.1/doc/#!/example/specific-columns-board
In that case it's doing Owners for columns and some extra stuff with custom rendering of headers, but the guts of it is specifying the columns config to the board, which is just an array of config objects which will be used to instantiate Rally.ui.cardboard.Column objects.

Shopify - is it possible to change the preview of a product with a inputbox?

Which ways are possible to edit the live preview of the product page in Shopify with Inputboxes next to it?
Let's say the product is a poster, and i want to add a custom text on it.
When typing into the inputbox the text changes in real time on the product.
Can this be implemented in the shopify code with the basic version of shopify?
Or does this necessarily needs an app?
ADDITIONALLY:
Let me go a bit deeper. I have a code that can generate a QR code.
Now i want that the QR code to be previewed in the product. Now position and color of the QR code is different from any product. Would that need an app?
Yes you can to an extent.
First the ground rules:
You can't modify the product from the front-end and update the content or media in the back-end - this would be a huge security hole
The changes applied to the product will be visible only to the user who changed them
The solution is to use Javascript and update the content of the front-end. If you like to store the changes for that specific user you can save them as cookie or localstorage.
If you like to share this change to other people you will need to add a custom parameter in the URL of the page and generate the content from it and share that url.
Each one of these steps will require some custom Javascript that will affect only the user in question, if you like to modify the product in the back-end directly you will need some kind of an app for this.
On my mind it can be done if the dynamic text is applied over product image.
Detailed code would be too long to write here but here are the steps:
Add an input to your product form to add a custom property (https://community.shopify.com/c/Shopify-Design/Product-pages-Get-customization-information-for-products/td-p/616503)
Write a Javascript function to get input value in real time
Use this value to display it in a div in product image container
Position this div in CSS as absolute and style it as you wish
While image container position should be set as relative in CSS

how to configure two sap fiori tiles target same application but each displaying different view of application as home page

I have created a custom fiori application and deployed it to abap repository. Now I have to create two tiles.
1.one for displaying the record.
2.other for creating the new record.
Both the pages(display and new) are created in different views in same application.
can I set the first page in first tile and second page in second tile as home page while launching, without creating the same copy of project again.
Another option is to have 2 differents target mapping parameters on the tiles and use this.getOwnerComponent().getComponentData().startupParameters to retrieve them.
This way you can read the parameter and choose what to do.
However as suggested by user6177399 the guidelines for edit and display view would not suggest that.

how to add autocomplete function to a column in oracle apex tabular form report

i want to add an autocomplete function to work in one of my column suppose name.It is easy to do using items.but how can i do it in the report.
Since a report doesn't contain Apex items, you can't do this with the built in features. Ignoring any possible plugins that may already be available, you can do this with jQuery UI, specifically the Autocomplete widget. Apex already includes some of the jQuery UI suite, but you may need to download the Autocomplete widget from the jQuery website.
This will need some custom work on your end. This really isn't that hard if you know how to use jQuery.
Download the jQuery UI Autocomplete widget and include it on your page. You can put just the .js file for that in your Application Shared Items. I have the whole jQuery UI library in a separate place on the webserver because I use different parts for different projects.
Source in that widget in the page properties.
You'll need to create text items with apex_item.text in your report.
You'll need an On Page Load dynamic action to attach the Autocomplete widget to your text items.
For the autocomplete source, if it's short, you can just use a Javascript variable that you put on the Apex page. If it's longer or you need to find the list at run time, you can use a function that calls apex.server.process.
If your report has Partial Page Refresh turned on, make sure the DA in step 4 has Dynamic scope, not Static.

Piranha CMS customisation

A few questions on customisation with Piranha CMS.
Is there a way to create additional custom site-wide items similar to those from the site helper? http://piranhacms.org/docs/api-reference/site-helper
e.g. to be able to set a phone number used throughout the site but still editable in the settings section of the manager.
Is is possible to create additional custom items for a page, e.g. page subtitle, and for those to appear in the Information section of page editing? Creating a region for say a page subtitle seems overkill.
Is it possible to create a custom page type with a region that is a collection of HtmlRegions or similar? e.g. for the purpose of managing a set of FAQs or similar enumerated content?
Is is possible to define custom settings properties for a page type?
Yes, you can add regions to your site in the same way as with page types under Settings > Sites. You then add content for them under Content > Pages > Edit Site.
You can add simple text properties on the page type. They will be shown as single line text inputs under Properties when editing the page.
No native support, however the region body can be anything that can be serialized to JSON so you have to handle this in the edit view for your region.
There is no support for injecting fields into the page settings, however if it's important you can override the whole edit view for pages and do anything you like by placing a copy of the view in the manager area in your local project. You can find the views in the github repo in the 2.2.5 branch.

Add web chart part to page

I already created a list in which I added a content type. The list is for Research. There are different kinds of Research, so all of them will be placed in this list. Every Research type has its own chart. When the user is adding values in the form (list), the chart must be updated. I tried to add the web chart, but when I tried to connect it to the web part of the Research type, it says "Your page does not contain any Web Parts that are capable of providing data to your chart Web Part". How can I achieve my goal?
use highcharts . which is basically works with jQuery
