MFP8.0 Adapter deploy failed - ibm-mobilefirst

We updated our Developer Kit and QA environment to product version 8.0.0.00-20170220-1900. We try to build the adapters and deploy the adapter to remote server using MFP CLI. But the deploy to server is failed with MAVEN plugin error.

Error deploying adapter: NotificationsAdapter

If you can build successfully then Try to deploy manually from Operational Console.

From MFP Console try to deploy the adapter: your issue get fixed.

Try to change or add version detail (in-case missing) pom.xml as following. It resolved issue for me.
<build>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>com.ibm.mfp</groupId>
<artifactId>adapter-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<extensions>true</extensions>
<version>8.0.2020110500</version>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
In my case it deploy using adapter-maven-plugin:8.0.2022030307:deploy and facing same error

Connection timing out while connecting to Maven repository

I am trying to build my project in my local system using the below command
mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip=true
It fails with the below error. It is failing to connect to repo.maven.apache.org.
I pinged to the server repo.maven.apache.org, I can see the response back.
I am using maven 3 version and connecting to maven 2 repo (repo.maven.apache.org).

I had this same issue and just like the comments suggested it was the maven proxy. Setup in \conf\settings.xml

How to run javaee7 sdk samples?

My teacher want me to run javaee7 sdk sample "annotation-war". Then I download the javaee7 sdk from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/downloads/index.html. But, I don't know how to run it.
I have tried the following steps:

I really don't know how to run javaee SDK samples. Can anyone who know how to run it give me some help?
The simplest way to get it running is to first build the project with mvn install which will output a WAR file. The bottom of the log will tell you the full, absolute path to the WAR file. the install Maven goal will also put copy it to your local repository which is managed by Maven, so you will see two different paths to the same WAR file. Either of these works, e.g:
/path/to/my/app/target/annotation-war-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.war
You can then use the asadmin tool in GlassFish to deploy the WAR file, first making sure GlassFish is running:
C:\zjf\soft\glassfish\glassfish4\bin\asadmin start-domain
C:\zjf\soft\glassfish\glassfish4\bin\asadmin deploy /path/to/my/app/target/annotation-war-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.war
This isn't the only way to get it running (there are many) but you may find this is the easiest to undestand, with the fewest things that might go wrong, despite it being a bit long-winded.

First of all you need to set MAVEN_HOME then set PATH=%MAVEN_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
set JAVA_HOME and PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
this is the prerequisite for maven configuration.
I assume you already took care of above.
Then create maven project which must have pom.xml and configure accordingly.
Go to the directory where pom.xml is present and run required configuration
Maven need configuration file pom.xml in work directory. Run cd c:/path/to/your/project/folder and after run mvn <needed goals>

What did I miss in a configuration? (I hope it is a configuration problem not a Maven plugins related bug!:) My repository URL seems to be ok (the plugin has been complaining before, I fixed that up), I also set a date format for parsing (also been complaining, also fixed).
target/changelog.xml being promised was not generated at all.
Maven 2.2.1
Mercurial 1.4.3
Windows XP SP3
mvn scm:changelog command provides an expected output.
Thanks for any suggestions, I haven't googled up anything (nor binged up;).
I did a test with a random project (noop, to be precise):
hg clone https://noop.googlecode.com/hg/ noop
And after configuring the dateFormat of the maven-changelog-plugin in the top pom.xml:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-changelog-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<dateFormat>EEE MMM dd hh:mm:ss yyyy Z</dateFormat>
</configuration>
</plugin>
I've been able to run mvn changelog:changelog without troubles. My point is that the plugin seems to work for at least one project (chosen randomly :).
I'd really like to know if hg log --verbose behave correctly as the plugin seems to complain about it not running successfully. If it does, could you try to pass the -X option when running Maven and see if you get more useful information.
Also, please provide the content of your <scm> element.
