Admin model categories, Keystone 4 - keystonejs

Anybody know how to make keystone 4 admin ui categories. By default you get "Users" and "Other" on the admin dashboard. I would love to group my models a bit.

This is done by setting the nav property in your root keystone.js file. See this example from the demo site, which shows both single items and arrays being used.

Joomla, assing menu-item to particular user

I am designing a photographers website.
What i need to do is allow every logged in user to view -ONLY- his portfolio and no other.
Since i haven't found any extension that does that in style, i decided to use a general portfolio extension, and create a portfolio for each user.
Then i need to find a way so that when a user logs in, with his username/password, a menu-item will appear that will hold -ONLY- his portfolio.
So my question is, how can i do that???
Assign a single menuitem to a single user.
Thank you.
The only idea I have in mind is to use user groups here. Create the user, create the user group, assign the user to the group and assign that group to the object you want to protect.
If it's just about showing images I have another idea.
I build that user group specific handling into Event Gallery, a Joomla! gallery component: https://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/extension/photos-a-images/galleries/event-gallery/
Doing this make creating different menu items unnecessary. Once the user logs in he can see his content. In addition the content is protected. A simple menu item might not do that trick.

BigCommerce Stencil - Category Resource Depth

I'm working on a store with 14,500 categories. It takes over 8 seconds to load the homepage.
I'm trying to limit the level of subcategories that are pulled in as a resource, thus dramatically decreasing the amount of data being loaded on each page bc I only need 1 level on the nav menu.
I don't see anything in the control panel, front-matter, or config file that would do this. I know this was in Blueprint, so I figured it would be in the config file but no luck.
Is this possible? Any ideas?
So I changed the store back to a Blueprint theme, and changed the category display setting to only show 1 level. Then switched back to my Stencil theme. Debugged the local JSON locally and that did the trick. Now the store is only loading 1 level deep of categories. I have no idea why this setting was overlooked in Stencil and not included in the config file.

Piranha CMS customisation

A few questions on customisation with Piranha CMS.
Is there a way to create additional custom site-wide items similar to those from the site helper? http://piranhacms.org/docs/api-reference/site-helper
e.g. to be able to set a phone number used throughout the site but still editable in the settings section of the manager.
Is is possible to create additional custom items for a page, e.g. page subtitle, and for those to appear in the Information section of page editing? Creating a region for say a page subtitle seems overkill.
Is it possible to create a custom page type with a region that is a collection of HtmlRegions or similar? e.g. for the purpose of managing a set of FAQs or similar enumerated content?
Is is possible to define custom settings properties for a page type?
Yes, you can add regions to your site in the same way as with page types under Settings > Sites. You then add content for them under Content > Pages > Edit Site.
You can add simple text properties on the page type. They will be shown as single line text inputs under Properties when editing the page.
No native support, however the region body can be anything that can be serialized to JSON so you have to handle this in the edit view for your region.
There is no support for injecting fields into the page settings, however if it's important you can override the whole edit view for pages and do anything you like by placing a copy of the view in the manager area in your local project. You can find the views in the github repo in the 2.2.5 branch.

Broadleaf commerce display some product to logged in users only

I am developing an e-commerce application using broad-leaf commerce.
My requirement is I have to add an product from login panel and display that product to only logged in users. Here few product products will be visible to all users (guest too) and few will be visible to only logged in users.
is there any way to do this?
Thanx soulfly1983 fou your try,but I found another alternative to do this without any customization. here is the full procedure..
Add a new category from admin panel.
Add a new page from admin panel (under content tab) and note the URL should be the same of category and page.
3 In the page click on rule tab.
4 Check the yes button in "Restrict to certain customers?"
Click +rule button and the select "match all" and select customer registered is equal to false
So this page will be visible to only guest users.
In the HTML body section of the rule (in general tab) write a message "you need to log in to view this stuff"
When user will log in successfully the user will not be able to the page , because we applied a rule that only logged out users can see the page so this time user will see the category and products added to that category.
am I doing right? any regarding this suggestion?
You can either extend the Product entity and add a field that will indicate whether that product will be visible to all users, or alternatively you could simply add an attribute for each product via the admin interface. Either way you will need to modify the UI logic so that it will take this additional field (or attribute) into consideration.
