We are building an iOS app that uses Yodlee API's to retrieve credit card transactions for our users.
Right now, we are using FastLink API to connect.
Once accounts are added to a users profile, is there a way to filter the transactions for a specific account by credit card? (For credit card accounts that have multiple cards associated with them)
For example: I have one credit card account with 4 cards associated with it. I am trying to retrieve only the information for a single card. Can this be done?
Yes, you can get a particular credit card account by calling Get Account Details API-https://developer.yodlee.com/apidocs/index.php#!/accounts/getAccountDetails
by passing the accountId and container as creditCard.
Hope this helps.

If an existing PayPal user has one or more credit cards saved in their PayPal account, and that user is new to my application, are those card details accessible via the Rest API Vault endpoint?
No. When you make a REST call, the end user will be providing you their card data directly. The credit cards in their PayPal account are backup funding sources. While it's possible you could get paid through them, there's no way for you to know because the payment will be shown as their PayPal account only.
Specific requirements for my app:
buyers must be able to use credit card
i want to collect a portion of each transaction (fee)
I was initially using Dwolla but realized that users would not be able to pay with credit cards. Now I'm looking at Stripe and see that they have Stripe Connect.
Would Stripe Connect fit the bill? A post here says that SC "would require the [recipients] to have business licenses". Is this true?
Also, looking at the API, I don't see how to direct the received funds to a recipient account. It seems like all you can do is "charge" the card. This seems like it would just put all of the funds in my account. All I want is a portion (fee) and then have the rest somehow deposited in the recipient's account. Is this possible, and if so, how do I specifiy the recipient in the API call?
It's best to view Stripe Connect as OAuth. Merchants can connect their Stripe accounts with you, and you can authenticate to Stripe with their details, and make charges on their behalf. You can take a fee off the top using the 'application_fee' param.
As to your first question, all users would have to sign up to and abide by Stripe's terms. They don't necessarily need to be businesses though - they could be sole proprietors.
You can find more docs on Connect here. https://stripe.com/docs/connect
I am working on one app. In this app to buy some non digital items i have to give access to users to do transactions using credit card / debit card. I have seen some apps in app store which accepts credit card / debit card . Those apps are Pay Anywhere , Rev COIN.
1) Can we know which third party API's they are using. 2)While using these apps do we need any card reader(another device) to swipe the card.
As well how to get those API's. Can any one help me please. This plays majority role in my app. Any suggestions please.
Doing some transactions with ZOOZ are ok . But coming to my app i have one requirement. i.e user can send order for one item and user can say expiry time(i.e in how many days product has to be delivered) at the time of offering an item payment will be done. before delivering the product user can cancel the order. whenever the order is cancelled some amount has to be deducted and remaining has to be refunded.
For example user sending request for pepsi which is worth of 10$ and expiry time is 3days payment will be done immediately. Next day he may want to cancel the order in such a case user 2$ will be deducted and remaining 8$ has to be credited back to user account. Can we do any these type of transactions using some API's.
Zooz is one way that you can do in-app payments. It's supposed to be easy. That kind of model would be for you using an app as a kind of online "store" like amazon.
If you're talking about using an iOS device to record transactions (using a single unit as a cash-register system) then you would need a card swipe add-on unless you want the customer to input all of their credit information when they pay.
Or, as jgervin pointed out you could use card.io to let the users take a picture of their credit card. The company charges you per-scan however.
Important note: Apple will reject your app from the app-store. See the linked questions.

Has anyone implemented the PayPal API through a native iPhone app?
Which PayPal iPhone SDK should I use?
So hopefully you're planning to deploy with airwatch or something similar.
I'm looking for a way to automate a transfer from one credit card to another credit card or from one bank account to another bank account, without the end user having to login to something like paypal or amazon payments to complete the process (by transferring their on-line balance to their bank account).
This is extension to the earlier question.
API For Direct Deposit (ACH, EFT, Whatever)
Anybody solved this. Could you suggest the answer?
[EDIT]
I know that PCI compliant issues will be there to store credit card info in database. So I am checking for an API which saves saves the info and doing crediting and debiting credit card.
Is there any issue to store the bank info in database?

I saw that there is an api for that. echeck.net which uses ACH network and credit/debits a bank account.
Is it possible to store the bank info in authorize.net server through CIM API, and use them whenever website needs to collect money from consumer, through a script? and through script is it possible to credit the users bank account from website bank account?

CIM does work with eChecks and should do what you need. See page 9 of the CIM manual for details of the createCustomerProfileRequest API call.
I am developing a website that will allow customers to pay with credit cards. I live in Uruguay, so I can't apply for a normal merchant account like Authorize.net, Braintree, etc. So I can't use the functionality they have to store credit cards to make recurring charges.
Anyone known a credit card processor/gateway that offers this functionality that allows to store credit card info and access them (Not seeing the credit card info, just a token or an ID) via an API to charge them and that accept NON-US companies? I know 2checkout but they don't have recurring payments functionality :(
I have Googled for days without luck, and maybe someone have a good tip.
Thank you very much for your time!
All the best,
Andres Montalban
Well, you could use the paypal API, and instead of storing the users credit card, store their paypal ID, then just bill the paypal account with the API. Their paypal account will let them enter a credit card to back their transactions.
