How can I get the connected hotspot BSSID/MAC Address in a React Native app? - react-native

I can easily do that using existing packages for Android, but I couldn't find any package that would do the same both on Android and iOS.
Update (Feb-08, 2017):
After waiting over two weeks and placing a bounty on the question which resulted in zero answers, I decided to implement a new package (react-native-gateway-finder) that returns the exact info I was looking for.
It is currently implemented for Android only and an iOS implementation is welcomed.

After I did some search on google, got the result as below:
react-native-network-info works with both Android and iOS. But you might need to upgrade your react-native version to 0.48 or higher.
react-native-android-wifi works with Android platform.
If you only need some basic info, NetInfo provided by react-native is a good choice.

Cant run setDebugModeEnabled on Expo for Firebase Analytics

So to give a little context im using expo-firebase-analytics (latest version) on Expo (27) and im trying to activate setDebugModeEnabled so that i can use the debugView on firebase analytics.
The problem is that when running it i get the following warning
The method or property expo-firebase-analytics.setDebugModeEnabled is not available on ios, are you sure you've linked all the native dependencies properly?]
I havent found any information about it on the web
Have you tried installing the latest version of expo-firebase-analytics since expo install brings an older one
Ok so i tried to reproduce the issue. It seems ("even though it seemed obvious") that its not available for a reason on ios. but it is in android. if you use an android device it shoudl work seamlesly
if you check on the exports is the function there?

Augmented Reality in React-Native

It is a question to professional developers at react-native. My react-native application needs augmented reality in it to develop complex games. I tried using viro-react, if you know this package. Developers of viro-react gave up on the package:
Not supported on IOS anymore
Documentation for some components is missing or poor
Are here people who is successfully using AR in their apps? Can you please tell me how you are doing it (different package or native components)? If it is native components, can you please tell me in a nut shell how to use native components with AR?
Thank you
Viro is actually a company that no longer exists, so don't hold your breath waiting for them. You can try using this example that works on both Android and iOS if you really want to use viro.
From my experience, there is no great solution to building AR apps in react native. You can also build the AR part of your app in Unity and import it into your app using this package.

this question is a bit vague for SO, something that would require an entire course to answer. Currently it looks like you should learn how to do react-native android before attempting to add on top HERE. There are many great tutorials to get that started and working.
For the here portion you will have to use the Here-Maps-SDK. Since there isn't a react version of this SDK, you will need to link it using a react bridge.
It's not that easy of a process, and will take a decent amount of work to get right.
Here are some examples to help get started: https://hackernoon.com/react-native-bridge-for-ios-and-android-43feb9712fcb

React Native Maps Error - Native component for "AIRMap" does not exist

I’m struggling with the Google Maps API in React Native, for Android.
I’ve followed the installation instructions for Android but I keep receiving the same error (see title) when I try to use the Mapview Component. I'm using the Android Studio emulator.
versions: react native - 0.55.4 / react-native-maps - 0.18.0 and 0.22.0
Haven't found any online solution for Android. Does anyone has a way to get me out of this trouble?
Please, tell me if you want to see my code. Thanks!
I really struggled with this for a few days also. I think it's a bug with the installation process, and it's very frustrating their docs no longer provide manual installation instructions. Honestly, I eventually gave up and used react-native-mapbox-gl

crash reporting with crittercism in react-native project

I want to use crittercism for "crash reporting/exception handling" in react-native project, Want to check if anyone already has done it ? If yes please guide.
This is Kunal from Apteligent. Unfortunately we do not support React native apps with our sdk yet, although there is a feature request in place and our team is working on it.
Once we have the compatible sdk we will update on our release notes page - https://docs.apteligent.com/release_notes/release_notes.html
Let me know in case of other questions.
