Hello everyone I just setup ssl support with certbot and everything went good but it won't load the page unless I enter the full url to the login.
I am running an apache server on linode. I think i have to set up a redirect but when I do the page won't load and says to many redirects.
I am not sure what information you would need to help me out but whatever it is just let me know. Thank's in advance.

I have a web app and trying to host it on Heroku. I also bought the domain name on name.com. Everything works locally just fine. It also works with URL "app.herokuapp.com." But when I add DNS mapping, enable SSL, and try to go by my link, I have an error that IP is not found. Can anybody say what I did wrong?
UPD: Okay, I did everything one more time, and now it works, but only with HTTP, even though I enabled automatic SSL.

Thanks a lot. I managed to solve my problem. I don`t know where the issue was, but I just removed all records from DNS in Heroku settings and added it one more time. And added default SSL support. Everything works.
So I've recently implemented and activated SSL certification on my webshop. Now I need to change all the links on it to https:// from http://
There are a few hardcoded links on the site that I'm in the process of changing but most of the links are generated by a function that fetches the url from the PS database and I've managed to figure out that you add "true" value as argument and it will fetch the https url.
The thing is that there are a lot of diff. modules and it would take a lot of time to do such thing. So I thought there might be an easier way to do this? Some kind of configuration that will add "true" value as argument for all getPageLink() functions.
The SSL is working fine. The only thing Firefox, Chrome etc are complaining on is that some elements are not https. Any help would be appritiated.
Edit : I figured there has to be some kind of global variable that respresents the domain name. So I went to the database and found PS_SHOP_DOMAIN and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL. From what I've been able to figure out is that PS only apply SSL on the order and account pages. But I need it for all pages. so I changed the value for PS_SHOP_DOMAIN to https://domain.com but this did not make any difference. Am I on the right path?
Did you enable SSL here:
Preferences -> General -> Enable SSL
Regards,
I have a Plesk 12.0.18 on Centos Server. All subscriptions works fine, but one subscription have a domain with this problem.
When i change the domain prefix to "www.mydomain.com" or to "mydomain.com", this still stuck to "Waiting...".
When this happens, the rest of the server still works fine, but will not let me make any changes to the rest of subscriptions.
I try to edit the apache vhosts, but this looks fine.
Please I need a help.
I think there is an issues with the plesk databases and due to that your process is getting stuck. I will suggest you please check your panel error logs file OR ask your system admin to check this.
I have installed moodle many times. But this time when i install moodle all steps are completed uptil update profile. (localhost/moodle/user/editadvanced.php id=2) when i enter admin details and update file nothing is displayed. when i try to access moodle module through localhost chrome displays message "web page has a redirect loop".
localhost/moodle/admin/index.php page is not redirected. i have reinstalled Xampp.
in Apache error log i found following
RSA certificate configured for www.example.com:443 does NOT include an
ID which matches the server name
.
i found solution some where to comment include conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf but it another error is activated in error log
"Sessioncache is not configured"
. Also i have changed port 443 but it didn't work
Find the moodledata folder.
Inside the moodledata
there are many folders
Delete all from Cache
2.Delete all from Session
Restart your browser.
It worked for me.
Hope that works for you.
Thanks for reply. I have found another solution.
While i was accessing a service provided by Linux server i got message that service has been blocked by security settings. I searched and while searching for that problem i found the solution of both.
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/DYk8tSV8qM4
go to control panel, programs, click on java, security.
set security to medium.
Java security was set to high which was blocking moodle application.
Delete the cache and the sesson folder data's in the moodle data folder. It will prevent you from redirecting the loop.
It is worked for me.But deleting the whole moodledata folder is not recommended
Just a guess... but if you are using a certificate, have you tried using https in your config.php?
$CFG->wwwroot = 'https://...'
everybody.
I got an "404 not found" when trying to access the link
http://www.abc.com/api.php/
But the same link without backward slash is OK:
http://www.abc.com/module/mfox/api.php
My server using Cloudflare. And I have disabled this service, but it still happen. I also try with htaccess, but it do not work. Could anyone tell me what's the wrong here, and how to fix this issue?
Thank you.
That would be on your server directly (we don't host your content). The fact that it happens with us off definitely means an issue on your server.
