When I upgraded to WebStorm 2016.3 the SASS and SCSS file disappeared from the new file dropdown in the project explorer.
I can't find where to configure the content of that menu. Preferences -> Editor -> File and Code Templates only modifies the templates, not which are available in the menu.
I'm certain the setting is staring me in the face, nonetheless I cannot find it.
You can create a new SCSS file template in Preferences | Editor | File and code templates - new templates will appear in File/New menu. But note that new scss/sass files can be created via File/New/Stylesheeet - just choose 'SCSS File' or 'Sass File' as stylesheet kind
It's on Settings -> Appearance & Behavior -> Menus and Toolbars -> Favorites View Popup Menu -> New. Then click an item to remove with the left button then click 'Remove" on the right.

I would like to add some other options, like "PHP Enum" or "PHP Interface" directly to this menu. Also, I would like to put PHP-related options first. It is possible tu customize this in PhpStorm? I'm using last version (2022.3.2) with the new UI enabled.
I tried using Appearance & Behaviour -> Menus & Toolbars but that didn't work for me.
Do you know that you can use the universal PHP Class entry and just change the type of the object (and therefore the file template) there? That can be done right away when typing the file or class name -- just use Arrow Up / Down keys:
(GREEN rectangle area is where that Up / Down key will work; RED rectangle shows my custom file templates)
P.S. The template for PHP Enums is also there, it just the screenshot was taken in a project with PHP 8.0 language level (need 8.1 for enums to appear).
P.P.S. The IDE will remember the last used template when you invoke this dialog again.

You can add new entries to this menu by creating custom File Templates at Settings/Preferences | Editor | File and Code Templates

Here are my test custom file templates:
And this is how they appear in that menu:
Customizing this menu (removing items, changing their order)
This is not possible at the moment. https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-143090 -- watch this ticket (star/vote/comment) to get notified with any progress.
The situation is when I open some files it isn't added on editor tab(red box).
The file that I double-clicked is located in green box with replacing existing file.
problem on editor tab in intellij
I want to see multiple tabs in editor tab in IntelliJ.
But I can see just only one tab like below.
I try to look around settings - Editor - General - Editor tab. But I couldn't find answer.
I wish I could get a hint here. Thank you.
Click on gear on the right -> view options -> Open in a new tab
For example, I have to click "VCS->git->pull" to update a project. How to configure the UI to make those operations executed by commands that are directly available to users?
What you can do is assign a shortcut for specific command.
Intellij -> Settings -> Keymap -> Version Control System -> Git ->
Repository
Then Right click on pull and
add Keyboard shortcut
Or For Add Icon Pull to your Toolbar you can
Right click on toolbar -> Customize Menus and Toolbars -> open Main
Toolbar node -> click on position where you would like to put new
action -> Add After -> Select the action ( Main Menu - VCS
- Git - Repository - Pull -> OK )
If you want you can custom the icon also.
I'm quite confused when it comes to file templates in IntelliJ. Basically, when I right click anything and hover my mouse over to New, I can see the usual file templates like Java Class, HTML File and so on. I downloaded Scala plugin and I can see Scala templates (Scala Class, Scala Object, etc.) if I go to Edit File Templates, but I can't actually use/see them in the New menu. Is there a way to modify what I see in the New menu? I'd like to be able to create Scala classes.
Go to Settings -> Menus and Toolbars
There you will see many type of menus. You need edit the menu you want the files to be displayed. Most Probably "Project View Popup Menu".
Click on "Add After" button on right. There you choose the file form plug-ins or other category to be displayed.
I added "Show Bytecode" to meny well it does not make sense here. You can add files from scala plugin like that.
You can restore to Defaults if you mess up easily by clicking on
"Restore All Defaults" button.
I've got a little (big) problem in Aptana. Whenever I try to edit my settings for a specific editor, I click "Apply", then "OK", but my preferences don't get saved, and if I open the settings again, the default ones are shown. What might be causing the problem?
I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 with Aptana build 3.0.4.201108101506.
I'm looking forward to reading your suggestions.

EDIT: The situations changed with version 3.0.5. Now, YAML editor's preferences get erased when closing the settings window as before, while others editors' ones are overridden with defaults when closing the IDE... This is very strange.
open preferences (settings)
click General
click editors
click text editors
change displayed tab width to 4
check insert spaces for tabs
click apply
click ok
open preferences (settings)
click aptana studio
click editors
click YAML (or desired editor)
change tab policy to use spaces
change tab size to 4
this worked for me
