I am trying to create a shovel from my old (RabbitMQ Server 3.6.1) broker to my new (RabbitMQ 3.6.6) broker and I keep getting this error:

The log lines above are happening on the source server and nothing is being shown on the logs in the destination server.
I have verified (using e.g. telnet) and the destination server:port is reachable and the user and password being used are correct.
I have created the shovel using destination and source queue names and not exchanges. The queue and vhost already exist in the destination server.
Does anyone have any ideas about this issue or have run into it in the past? This is the first time I am working with shovel thus I may be missing a basic step.
Thank you.

Sometimes mirrors go offline, it's recommended to have multiple mirrors so you don't have a single point of failure, as well as keeping mirrors updated. Using reflector is recommended since it also finds fast candidates based on your location.
For the time being, edit /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist and uncomment a couple of mirrors, then try updating again.
I am trying to run two rabbitmq nodes on a single windows host. My end goal is to run two rabbitmq services.
currently, I have the following commands for the second node in rabbitmq-env-conf.bat :
set RABBITMQ_CONFIG_FILE=%APPDATA%\RabbitMQ\rabbitmq.conf
set RABBITMQ_NODENAME=rabbit2#hostname
set RABBITMQ_DIST_PORT=5673
set RABBITMQ_SERVER_START_ARGS="-rabbitmq_management listener [{port,15673}]"
Running .\rabbitmq-server.bat start produces the following error :
. . .
Starting broker...Logger - error: {removed_failing_handler,rabbit_log}

From the log :
Application rabbitmq_management exited with reason: {{could_not_start_listener,[{cowboy_opts,[{sendfile,false}]},{port,15672}],{shutdown,{failed_to_start_child,ranch_acceptors_sup,{listen_error,{acceptor,{0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0},15672},eaddrinuse}}}},{gen_server,call,[rabbit_web_dispatch_registry,{add,rabbitmq_management_tcp,[{cowboy_opts,[{sendfile,false}]},{port,15672}],#Fun<rabbit_web_dispatch.0.73002970>,[{'_',[],[{[],[],rabbit_mgmt_wm_static,{priv_file,rabbitmq_management,"www/index.html"}},{[<<"api">>,<<"overview">>],[],rabbit_mgmt_wm_overview,...},...]}],...},...]}}
It looks like I am unable to setup the rabbitmq management port successfully despite suppling starting args.
15672 is the first rabbitmq's management port number and I am not sure why this number is being picked up.
Some troubleshooting pointers will be appreciated.
I created a three node etcd cluester, config and start is already OK, but when I check the /var/log/messages, it shows
etcd: rejected connection from "172.17.0.3:43192" (error "tls: first
record does not look like a TLS handshake", ServerName "")
How can I fix it ?
I have checked the health of etcd :
member 48b0dff99d5c867e is healthy: got healthy result from https://172.17.0.9:2379
member 646dab89331aabab is healthy: got healthy result from https://172.17.0.8:2379
member b45603216bfac234 is healthy: got healthy result from https://172.17.0.10:2379
That shows Ok, but when I cat the /var/log/messages, it always shows this error :
Jan 12 20:08:57 master etcd: rejected connection from
"172.17.0.3:43160" (error "tls: first record does not look like a TLS
handshake", ServerName "")
Jan 12 20:08:57 master etcd: rejected
connection from "172.17.0.3:43162" (error "tls: oversized record
received with length 21536", ServerName "")
I got this message for the etcd peer communication when switching from http to https for peer communication. Apparently etcd has persistent peer information that overrides the command line options so it continued to use http for peer communication in spite of the command line options.
In the end, since this was a test cluster, I nuked /var/lib/etcd and the new cli configuration took hold
There is no solution from my side to fully help you with an issue but I've found couple of links that might help you in further investigations. Read them carefully, try solutions and I hope you will resolve the problem.
Github question #9917: check ETCDCTL_API variable, especially make sure --endpoints is configured with https.
Runtime reconfiguration: try to reconfigure you etcd by updating/removing/adding etcs members.
nginx ingress: check your nginx ingress annotations in case you are using nginx
google groups TLS handshake topic: Check this topic, especially comments related to VAULT_ADDR variable. I will copy paste last comment from thread here:
We were able to get everything to work, after understanding the
permission issues.
You asked: "Please confirm if you are seeing server error messages
before initializing Vault" Upon further examination, I did determine
that the errors were not happening before initializing the Vault.
The problem ended up not being related to VAULT_ADDR, and we used the
value: "http://127.0.0.1:8200"
I have the setup operation scripted, and it appears that not
everything was being run at the proper permissions. At first I was
running the scripts using the "sudo" command, which resulted in the
failures. I discovered that the permissions for the certificate key
were restricted and the file could not be accessed by my user. There
may have been other permission issues as well. But once I switched
user to root, and ran the script, everything behaved correctly.
Thanks
I am trying to configure ActiveMQ master/slave setup on a single WebLogic machine. The problem is when I start Managed Server1 it successfully connects to vm transport and everything works perfectly, but when I start Managed Server2 I am receiving the following errors in broker logs

Please help, I am stuck with this.
I still don't see the reason for the slave within the same VM. I suggest you reach out to an ActiveMQ expert consultant to validate your architecture.
However, I think I can help you move a little bit closer to this issue:
There is a fundamental miss understanding here.. the vm url is broken down like this:
vm://${brokerName}?option=value,etc
The first time you create vm://localhost?create=true.. you have created a broker
The second time you reference vm://localhost?create=false.. you have created a client connection to the first broker.
To get two brokers, you'd need two different vm://${brokerName}?create=true
I have a python program connecting to a rabbitmq server. When this program starts, it connects well. But when rabbitmq server restarts, my program can not reconnect to it, and leaving error just "Socket closed"(produced by kombu), which is meaningless.
I want to know the detailed info about the connection failure. On the server side, there is nothing useful in the rabbitmq log file either, it just said "connection failed" with no reason given.
I tried the trace plugin(https://www.rabbitmq.com/firehose.html), and found there was no trace info published to amq.rabbitmq.trace exchange when the connection failure happended. I enabled the plugin with:
rabbitmq-plugins enable rabbitmq_tracing
systemctl restart rabbitmq-server
rabbitmqctl trace_on
and then i wrote a client to get message from amq.rabbitmq.trace exchange:
#!/bin/env python
from kombu.connection import BrokerConnection
from kombu.messaging import Exchange, Queue, Consumer, Producer
def on_message(self, body, message):
print("RECEIVED MESSAGE: %r" % (body, ))
message.ack()
def main():
conn = BrokerConnection('amqp://admin:pass#localhost:5672//')
channel = conn.channel()
queue = Queue('debug', channel=channel,durable=False)
queue.bind_to(exchange='amq.rabbitmq.trace', routing_key='publish.amq.rabbitmq.trace')
consumer = Consumer(channel, queue)
consumer.register_callback(on_message)
consumer.consume()
while True:
conn.drain_events()
if __name__ == '__main__':
main()
I also tried to get some debug log from rabbitmq server. I reconfigured rabbitmq.config according to https://www.rabbitmq.com/configure.html, and set
log_levels to
{log_levels, [{connection, info}]}
but as a result rabbitmq server failed to start. It seems like the official doc is not for me, my rabbitmq server version is 3.3.5. However
{log_levels, [connection,debug,info,error]}
or
{log_levels, [connection,debug]}
works, but with this there is no DEBUG info showing in the logs, which i don't know whether it is because the log_levels configuration is not effective or there is just no DEBUG log got printed all the time.
I know that this answer comes massively late, but for future purveyors, this worked for me:
[
{rabbit,
[
{log_levels, [{connection, debug}, {channel, debug}]}
]
}
].
Basically, you just need to wrap the parameters you want to set in whichever module/plugin they belong to.
