IntelliJ - How to re-enable the "Update Project" popup - intellij-idea

In IntelliJ, when updating a project, the following popup appears:
If, as in the picture, we choose to not show this dialog in the future, how can we be asked again if we want to change something in our update strategy?
Thanks

I found out that if you click on the VCS update button while holding the Shift key, the popup reappears.
I hope this helps.

Focus on dialog with ideavim

I have some handy mappings set up in my ~/.ideavimrc some of which result in IntelliJ opening a new window/dialog box. For example the following line lets me type \t and it'll open IntelliJ's "jump to test" dialog box which lets me jump to an existing test or create a new test file:
:map \t :action GotoTest<CR>
This almost works great. The only issue is that when the dialog box pops up the focus is still on the editor window, not the dialog box. As a result I can't simply use the arrow keys to select my option and hit enter. Instead, I have to use the mouse. As a good code nerd, I abhor the mouse. So, how do I get the keyboard focus to change? Is this possible?
It's fixed in the master branch https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/VIM-796, but the fix hasn't been released yet. You can download a CI build and help testing IdeaVim. See https://github.com/JetBrains/ideavim for more details.

IntelliJ IDEA - Key board right click doesn't work

I am using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate v 13.1, and I am fond of using key board short cuts, rarely use mouse. I am relatively new to this IDE as earlier I always worked on eclipse.
My question is about performing right click operations by pressing the right click key on key board (usually found near the right side Ctrl key on external key boards). The problem is when I press this key, nothing happens but when I click the mouse right click and things just happen. This is applicable on editor, project explorer and I guess everywhere in the IDE.
Is there a switch I should turn on and it will work or any other way to get key board right click work in IDEA? Thanks very much for your responses.
I know it is an old question, but it popped up as 1st result when I searched for my issue, and I figured it out with some of the context in Ketan#'s answer.
Fix:
Go to File -> Settings -> Keymap
Search for "Show Context Menu"
Add a new keyboard shortcut. When prompted, press the "right click" (aka "context menu") key.
For me, It simply works after just restart the IntelliJ IDE
Sometimes accidents just happen for good! This one falls in that category :)
Somehow IDEA was unable to load any of my projects, and I thought of deleting '.IntelliJIdea13' directory from my user directory. Initially I didn't change my keymap (shortcuts) to Eclipse and right click just works fine.
In any case the problem is there for IntelliJ to fix. They should allow right click from keyboard to work even when shortscuts are mapped to Eclipse style.
I tried to change the shortcuts to Eclipse and keyboard right click stopped working. When I change it to default, it starts working.
If you was installed it with jetbrains toolbox you can't made it easily.
I made a script written in php but you could adapt it to other languages:

Quick fix all intention errors

As of now I am pressing alt + enter per intention fix in my source code.
Sometimes I have a lot of the same issues in a file and I'm wondering if a quick fix can be done for a whole package or source file.

Thanks
There should be a "fix all" option in the sub-menu (if you're navigating via keyboard, just press the "right" arrow key to get the sub-menu then select the fix all option).

Eclipse Plugin Development: Adding a menu on right click on Tab of editor

When we right click on a tab of an JavaEditor in eclipse, we get three options
1. Close
2. Close Others
3. Close All
I wanted to add an extra menu like this:
1. Close
2. Close Others
3. Close All
4. Open File in Folder
After my own study I was able to locate the command/handler that does these operations in the org.eclipse.ui plugin. But I wasn't able to view the menu contributuion anywhere.
Specifically My questions are:
How can I add the 4th menu option in the popup menu?
In which plugin is the menuContribution that actually displays those 3 menus when I right click on a tab?
I have attached the screenshot of the closeOthers command in te plugin editor..Hope it makes my question clear.
There is a bug about this: Bug 103045. As you can see from the bug's history, it has not been solved, but there seems to be a workaround written there. Good luck.

Is there a search history in Intellij IDEA?

A feature that I used a lot in Eclipse is the Search History, which remembers searches you performed in the past and gives you quick access to them. I cannot seem to replicate this functionality in IntelliJ - it seems that I have to start a new search each time. Does this feature exist, or does anyone know of a plugin that provides such a feature?
I think what you're looking for is the "Open in new tab" checkbox at the bottom of the "Find in path" dialog. For me by default it was disabled. When you enable it, you will have search results open in separate tabs every time, so accessing historic searches will be much easier.
For recent "Find Usages", open the "Find" window (Cmd 3); click the settings button in the "Find" window toolbar; in the settings dialog check the checkbox "Open in new tab".
Inside 'Find' dock press Alt+Down to see 'Recent Find Usages' dropdown.
Search history intellij alt up or alt down.
For in-file search there is Recent Searches drop down if you press the down arrow key, the same is available for the Find in Path dialog.
Alt+down arrow is what you are looking for...
First press Ctrl+Shift+f and then alt+down arrow
for more info check IntelliJ website:
https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/searching-everywhere.html#search_all
Using Alt+down works to see previous Finds, but by default only 1 Tab is open.
Of course the setting for opening new Finds in a new Tab can be found in a slightly different place than when the first answer was posted. It can now be found by right-clicking the top bar (or the "Show options menu" gear-icon) -> View Options -> Open Results in New Tab.
Click on the magnifying icon in the find window and you will see it. It is not intutive. I'd expect it to list the previous searches when I click on the text box window.
just when you user find by path, right corner of the search you will find the "open
in find window" there you will see history as shown in the image and you can pin the search history you need . just hit the <- arrow button in the left panel of find window, you would see the history
