How can I disable 'autoscroll from source' in Visual-Studio-Code - ide

Code Version - 1.7.1
I find this to be one of the most annoying parts of my day.
How can i disable 'autoscroll from source' in Visual-Studio-Code?
In Android Studio it is possible to enable/disable Auto Scroll to/from source. I'm looking for a way to disable this in Visual-Studio-Code.
Thank you

Open your user settings and set "explorer.autoReveal": false. This setting is listed under "File Explorer" on the default settings side.

May you want to focus to "File Explorer" from "current editing file" you can set "Files: Reveal Active File in Side Bar" in Short cut setting file. after set "explorer.autoReveal": false

IntelliJ moving my mouse cursor in random positions

IntelliJ sometimes moves the cursor on default positions, like over the Find button when you do a Find in Path.
However recently it is moving my cursor to completely random positions. I suspect this is because of my multi-monitor setup.
A computer/IntelliJ restart doesn't fix the issue.
How can I disable this "automatic move" thing entirely?
you can disable "automatic moves" by Settings > Appearance & Behavior > Appearance, checkbox Automatically position cursor on default button. Docs
Edit (2021-02-15): Something changed in the UI in recent versions. If you're having trouble finding the option you can edit the registry.
Here is the request for missing option:
https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-99985
The option should be disabled though. Try checking
focus.follows.mouse.workarounds in registry.
You can open the registry by searching all Actions for Registry, then edit that value.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+/ and select "Registry" from the menu that appears.
Then set ide.settings.move.mouse.on.default.button value to disable.

From the official Intellij documentation: https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/appearance.html#d1207234e126
To disable this quickly in Intellij 15 and newer (which have the 'Search Everywhere' feature), do the following:
Press Shift+Shift
Type UI: auto. This should popup the following:
Highlight that option and press enter.

PHPStorm: Disable Auto Opening of File transfer tool window

I'm using PHPStorm 10, every first save after the opening PHPStorm the File transfer tool windows show up, telling me that the file is being auto uploaded.
I've tried all type of settings, without good results: the file transfer window keep showing up at the first save. How can i disable this behavior?
This is the tool window:
File Transfer tool window
Open Tools > Deployment > Options and change Operations logging to "Errors only".
There is no such option in Settings/Preferences.
Just close the window (minimize it) and it will not show up again for this session (only notifications, which you can disable if so desired via Settings/Preferences | Appearance & Behavior | Notifications -- look for "Web deployment" entries).
If you change the View Mode to Undock and drag the inner edge of the File Transfer window outside the viewport, it will effectively be disabled. This is not very elegant and I hope JetBrains gives us a setting to disable this soon.
To see the File Transfer window again, right-click on File Transfer and select another view option such as Dock Pinned.
As of PHPStorm 2019.1.2. Thanks to Erenor's comment for the inspiration.
Edit: Ástþór's answer does work provided none of the transfers are throwing errors. Due to the way a server is set up on one of my projects, it always gives a benign error, which makes the File Transfer window pop up.

Disable copying entire line when nothing is selected in Intellij

I have recently started using Intellij and I noticed that by default, when you do ctrl+c for copying something when you have nothing selected, it copies the entire line into the clipboard overriding what I had in there before.
This is really annoying yet I cannot seem to figure out how to disable it. I am aware that there is a paste history you can use however this is not what I am after, I just want to disable it like you can do with sublime text.
Is there a way to disable this behaviour so that when I press ctrl+c and nothing is selected it just leaves the clipboard alone?
Since version 2021.2 there is a dedicated Don't copy/cut the current line when invoking the Copy or Cut action with no selection setting for this in Preferences | Advanced Settings on the Mac, Settings | Advanced Settings on other platforms.
For older IntelliJ Platform based IDE's the setting is more hidden:
Invoke Help | Find Action... (Ctrl (Cmd on Mac)+Shift+A), type Registry and select the Registry... item that appears. Enable the editor.skip.copy.and.cut.for.empty.selection option there. Be careful with the other configuration options, because it is possible to break your IntelliJ IDEA installation with an incorrect setting.
In Mac OS X:
Press cmd+shift+a.
Type registry and press return to
open the Registry.
Enable the editor.skip.copy.and.cut.for.empty.selection option.
Click Close.
I suppose it should be same as in WebStorm, or someone might be searching WebStorm solution as I did:
Open the settings: File > Settings > Advanced Settings (bottom of the list).
Start typing "editor".
Check the editor.skip.copy.and.cut.for.empty.selection
Click "OK" or "Apply"
On: WebStorm 2022.3.1
in PHPStorm -> From the Help menu, select Edit Custom Properties.
and paste
editor.skip.copy.and.cut.for.empty.selection = true

SQL Server Management Studio Object Explorer - How to increase Font Size?

In SQL Server Management Studio Object Explorer - How to increase Font Size?
From the tool --> Options --> Fonts & Colors we can change fonts for many windows. There is a drop down 'Show Settings For' where we can changes font for text in many area's but I'm not sure how to change the font for the Object Explorer. I thought it would be the tools window drop down selection but that didn't effect the Object Explorer. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
You can't change the font of the Object Explorer on it's own but you can change it.
Go to "Tools/Options/Fonts and Colors"
Under the "Show settings for:" dropdown choose "Environment font"
Set the font/fontsize to whatever you want (I use 12 pt Segoe UI)
Click "OK"
Restart SSMS
Using SSMS 2016, it will set use the font and size settings under "Environment Font" in object explorer (and in all menus etc) on restart of SSMS. Screen shot showing setting panel and result
Sometimes I like larger fonts, they help me see clearly and avoid mistakes when reading all the tons of text and data.
My alternatives for not being able to change the font in Object Explorer:
Windows 7 has a Magnifier.
Add a Filter when finding a specific table among the many tables in a database. Right click on Tables --> Filter.
In SSMS-17, Once you have navigated to Tools->Options->Environment->Fonts and Colors, Select Environment Font from the Show settings for. Then the Font will need to be set to a different Font before the Size of the text can be changed. The Automatic default Font setting prevents the Size from being changed.

Snip: SSMS-17 After changes are made
This is a known issue, and will not be fixed at this time.

currently there is no option but you can vote for this to be added into future versions here:

change grid result font
Go to "Tools/Options/Fonts and Colors"
Under the "Show settings for:" dropdown choose "grid results"
Set the font/fontsize to whatever you want (I use 12 pt Segoe UI)
Click "OK"
I had a similar issue where the sql connection box was really tiny. I tried using all the different font sizes for environment but nothing would fix the connection box size. What did fix it was a computer restart. All fonts went back to normal.
To increase the output of the print or select function, go to Options > Fonts and colors > Show settings for:, select Grid Results and change the field Size to a default of 7.

Aptana won't save editor preferences

I've got a little (big) problem in Aptana. Whenever I try to edit my settings for a specific editor, I click "Apply", then "OK", but my preferences don't get saved, and if I open the settings again, the default ones are shown. What might be causing the problem?
I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 with Aptana build 3.0.4.201108101506.
I'm looking forward to reading your suggestions.

EDIT: The situations changed with version 3.0.5. Now, YAML editor's preferences get erased when closing the settings window as before, while others editors' ones are overridden with defaults when closing the IDE... This is very strange.
open preferences (settings)
click General
click editors
click text editors
change displayed tab width to 4
check insert spaces for tabs
click apply
click ok
open preferences (settings)
click aptana studio
click editors
click YAML (or desired editor)
change tab policy to use spaces
change tab size to 4
this worked for me
