What do i need for "idsldapmodify, ldapmodify, etc"? - ldap

i want to use the ldap interface to modify some attributes at TDS.
I found a tutorial Overriding password policy and unlocking accounts
I created a .Ldif file and tried to load the file via command-line in Windows 7 (!). But i think i am missing the necessary ldap tools.
"idsldapmodify" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
What do i exactly need to run such parameters "idsldapmodify –?"
Best regards!

That was the problem, "ldapmodify" didn't work.
But now i got it. I have downloaded "OpenLDAP 2.4.34" and now i can use "ldapmodify". Thank your very much!

How to unzip password protected zip files with apache nifi

In apache nifi I am not able to unzip zip-files in my workflow, because they are protected by a password. I know the password, it is the same for all Zips. What can I do?
The current CompressContent processor does not provide for a way to accept a password, but you could work around this by using the ExecuteStreamCommand processor to invoke the unzip command on the command-line and populate the password in that command. I also raised a feature request Jira to enhance the processor here.
Since you know the password and it is the same for all the zipped files, you can easily use the UnpackContent processor. Select the package format and provide the password in text format like this.
Configuring UnpackContent
You can find details on this processor here - https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/components/org.apache.nifi/nifi-standard-nar/1.13.2/org.apache.nifi.processors.standard.UnpackContent/

Is it possible to rename a file on FTP server programmatically using cocoa?

My basic requirement is to add a ".temp" suffix to a file while it is getting uploaded on to the FTP server (suffix should be only for time until the file is fully uploaded).
As per my understanding, i thought this could be achieved by: Add a suffix to file on the local machine, then upload it and after the upload is complete, rename the file to remove suffix on server.
But now the another problem is that i could not found a way to rename a file on FTP server using cocoa. I know renaming a file is feasible using Java or other languages but i want to achieve the same in objectiveC.
Please tell be if the above task is feasible and if it is what is the approach i should follow?
FYI: I know how to upload and download a file on FTP server using NSInputStream and NSOutputStream.
Thanks. I'd appreciate any help.
Take a look at CFNetwork FTP docs. They do not mention exactly your case, but there may be a way to sent RNFR and RNTO commands over the stream.
https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/Networking/Conceptual/CFNetwork/CFFTPTasks/CFFTPTasks.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30001132-CH9-SW1
There is also a sample project you can look into:

This library claims to do what you want (rename remote files)

Lynx file "/etc/lynx.lss" is not available

using cpanel server, setting a simple "lynx http://www.domain.com/script.php" command gives following error and I am unable to understand it.
Lynx file "/etc/lynx.lss" is not available.
the problem is the SHELL.
You can solve this problem via two ways:
1] I simply changed the sentence:
SHELL="/usr/local/cpanel/bin/jailshell"
in /var/spool/cron/account
to SHELL="/bin/bash"
2] You can copy file /etc/lynx.lss
to directory: /home/virtfs/account/etc
Both worked for me !
Wilhelm
You can create an empty (or not) style sheet file in a directory where you have write access, then explicitly point to that file on the lynx command-line:
lynx -lss=/path/to/my/lynx.lss ...
I enabled shell access for the account and it started working. The above answer seems to assume you have access to the entire server and can modify those files, if so then just enable shell access and you are set, but if you are on a shared hosting account basic cpanel and ftp access you may not be able to do it. Ask you hosting company if you can have shell access. Then decide what you can do depending on the answer they give you.
you can solve this issue by follow below process :-
Open this file
root#server [~]# vi /var/cpanel/exim.conf.deps
and append below entries and save it.
/etc/lynx.lss

How to use "htaccess" on synology system for website access control?

I am trying to set up the access control for my personal website on synology NAS. Right now I am using DS212J. I found the following article teaching how to use "htaccess" on apache to achieve that.
http://www.synology.com/support/faq_show.php?lang=enu&q_id=347
But I encountered 2 problem:
1) I don't have the command "htpasswd" after ssh to my DS212J.
2) After I manually create those files, I got the username and password prompting up on the website. However, the password in "admin.pw" and "normal.pw" doesn't work when I type in. I am not sure whether it is because I didn't use command "htpasswd".
What am I missing here?
Thanks.
The htpasswd executable is at /usr/syno/apache/bin/htpasswd. As that directory is not on the PATH, you have to explicitly use the whole path to use it:
Apache doesn't keep passwords in plain text, it uses a hash of them so that even if someone gets access to the password file they won't be able to log in. That's why you must use htpasswd to create the file.
For anyone who comes across this, I couldn't get that synology support tutorial to work either. I am running DSM 5.1-5022 Update 4 on my own domain with ssl. Here's how it got it working:
Follow the steps in the following wiki: Synology Wiki
In the control panel, go to "Web Services" and disable SPDY for secure connections. (Gleaned from this article.)
Good luck.

Accessing a resource file from a filesystem plugin on SymbianOS

I cannot use the Resource File API from within a file system plugin due to a PlatSec issue:
*PlatSec* ERROR - Capability check failed - Can't load filesystemplugin.PXT because it links to bafl.dll which has the following capabilities missing: TCB
My understanding of the issue is that:
File system plugins are dlls which are executed within the context of the file system process. Therefore all file system plugins must have the TCB PlatSec privilege which in turn means they cannot link against a dll that is not in the TCB.
Is there a way around this (without resorting to a text file or an intermediate server)? I suspect not - but it would be good to get a definitive answer.
The Symbian file server has the following capabilities:
TCB ProtServ DiskAdmin AllFiles PowerMgmt CommDD
So any DLL being loaded into the file server process must have at least these capabilities. There is no way around this, short of writing a new proxy process as you allude to.
However, there is a more fundamental reason why you shouldn't be using bafl.dll from within a fileserver plugin: this DLL provides utility functions which interface to the file servers client API. Attempting to use it from within the filer server will not work; at best, it will lead to the file server deadlocking as it attempts to connect to itself.
I'd suggest rethinking that you're trying to do, and investigating an internal file-server API to achieve it instead.
Using RFs/RFile/RDir APIs from within a file server plugin is not safe and can potentially lead to deadlock if you're not very careful.
Symbian 9.5 will introduce new APIs (RFilePlugin, RFsPlugin and RDirPlugin) which should be used instead.
Theres a proper mechanism for communicating with plugins, RPlugin.
Do not use RFile. I'm not even sure that it would work as the path is checked in Initialise of RFile functions which is called before the plugin stack.
Tell us what kind of data you are storing in the resource file.
Things that usually go into resource files have no place in a file server plugin, even that means hardcoding a few values.
Technically, you can send data to a file server plugin using RFile.Write() but that's not a great solution (intercept RFile.Open("invalid file name that only your plugin understands") in the plugin).
EDIT: Someone indicated that using an invalid file name will not let you send data to the plugin. hey, I didn't like that solution either. for the sake of completness, I should clarify. make up a filename that looks OK enough to go through to your plugin. like using a drive letter that doesn't have a real drive attached to it (but will still be considered correct by filename-parsing code).
Writing code to parse the resource file binary in the plugin, while theoratically possible, isn't a great solution either.
