Jenkins Dynamic Parameter Build - dynamic

I am new to Jenkins and I am looking to create a parameter build. My issue is that I want to create a list of parameters that is dependent on the first parameter. For example, My fist selection will be to choose a domain. I then want a list of parameters or services to populate below that correspond to the specific domain selected in the first parameter. The list of parameters will be different for each selected domain.
I have tried the Active Choice Parameter Plugin as well as the Active Reactive, however these only allow the choices of the parameter to be dynamic, not the actual list of parameters itself.
Is there another plugin I should look into?
Here is a link to another post which describes what I am trying to accomplish if what I stated above was unclear. This issue is still unresolved on the Jenkins site.
https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-5914
Thank you!

In order to accomplish the task above, I used the Active Choice Parameter to specify the first parameter selections. For the remaining parameters, I used the Avtice Choice Reactive Parameter which has a field to specify the parameter you wish to reference. this allows the parameter to re-fire every time you change the selection of the first parameter.

how to set allowed values through Rally WSAPI?

How can one set the allowed values for a Rally attribute (e.g. "Package") using Rally's web services API (2.0)?
I know how to retrieve the allowed values, and the WSAPI documentation says one should be able to POST new ones, or PUT to existing ones to rename them. But in actuality, POSTing new ones returns an error saying that POST isn't supported, and PUTting to existing ones isn't possible because they don't have _refs to PUT to.
Clearly there must be some way to do this — after all, the GUI can do it — but I haven't managed to figure it out. Anyone have the answer?
Ah, the package field... 'Twas a simpler time when this field was created. Unfortunately it is implemented differently than almost all other dropdowns in Rally and as such is not able to be updated via WSAPI as you have found. Other field allowed values (including custom fields) have _refs and operate as you expect above.

how to dynamically extract data from dropdown lists or multiple textboxes using import.io

I am making an API wherein I want to dynamically get data from the site http://transportformumbai.com/mumbai_local_train.php
Depending on start and end station and timings I want to get the list of all available trains along with the table given by clicking on viewroute column table. i.e. for eg.
I am using import.io connector... But it works well with a single textbox but not with multiple textboxes (Refer this link)or dropdown lists...
Can anyone guide what should I do next...
Apart from import.io is there anyother alternative?
I am a newbie working with crawlers... So please justify your answer.
What is web scraping... Do I have to use web scraper??
Thank you.
Actually, if you look in the URL bar the parameters for destination and time are defined there (highlighted below), so you don't need to worry about drop down menus, or using a Connector.
Use an Extractor on this page:
http://transportformumbai.com/get_schedule_new.php?user_route=western&start_station=khar_road&end_station=malad&start_time=00&end_time=18
Train it to get every column - note that the view route column contains links.
You can create a separate Extractor for the "view route" page:
http://transportformumbai.com/view_route_new.php?trainno=BYR1097&user_route=western&train_origin=Churchgate&train_end=Bhayandar&train_speed=S
Now you should "Chain" the second Extractor to the first one and it will pull that information from every link on the first one.
If you want to choose different destinations and times, just change the URL parameters of the original link.

Your best bet here seems to have an API for every URL combination. You have to analyze the URL structure.

CloudConnect: Dynamic URL in REST Connector

What is the best way to create a dynamic request URL for the REST Connector in CloudConnect?
e.g. I want the URL to be for example www.myservice.com/api/{todays-date}/report.json and the URL must change accordingly everytime the ETL runs.
Is there some way to make this happen by code in CloudConnect? I didn't find any straight forward way but I found that one might be able to import a remote file containing the URL.
Does anyone have experience or tips on this subject?
what should work the best is to generate this parameter (e.g. in Data Generator) or read some data from the source (e.g. list of IDs) and send it to the REST component as an input parameter (e.g. metadata field name is 'today_date', so use ${today_date}). As far as I know this should work.
Another option is to use a parameter from a *.prm file (like workspace.prm). You can use ${PARAMETER_NAME} in your URL and this should also work correctly.
Hope this helps.

How to access Custom Form data within the AtTask REST API (version 4+)?

For a project I'm working on, I need to access Custom Form data via the AtTask REST API. Specifically, I need to surface the text associated with any checked checkboxes within a custom form.
To see where this data might be visible, I've done a query of the form:
https://<company>.attasksandbox.com/attask/api/v4.0/task/search?method=get&sessionID=xxxxxxxx&fields=parameterValues
...but I'm not seeing the checkbox data I'm looking for.
Is it possible to surface this kind of data via the API?
If so, what's the proper syntax?
The parameterValues fields will return all the custom data that is set on the task. You can request the specific parameter by calling it by name like DE:Parameter Name. Both will only return the selected values of the checkbox. If you would like all values for the field then you will need to pull them from the parameter and parameter options objects.

Best approach to build a DYNAMIC query-by-example form in AngularJS?

I'm relatively experienced with Angular having written many directives, but I have a new requirement where I have to build a query-by-example form into which a user can enter different search criteria. My problem is that I do not know ahead of time what the possible criteria will be. This criteria information will be coming from the server via an ajax request and can differ per user. Thus I will need to dynamically construct a suitable user interface based on the information I get from the server.
I have built individual directives suitable for capturing the search criteria (for example a custom calendar control for date criteria) but I am unsure of the best approach to adding these directives to a form dynamically. Is this even possible in Angular?
I have built something like this before in jQuery but its not so clear to me how I would best do this in an 'Angular way'?
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
Everything that you can express as a model-to-view projection can be implemented in AngularJS.
I think here you can make a model consisting of "query params". Each of them has name, type and data for filter builder. For example, for the "select" type a data can contain a list of all possible values to choose from.
Then you iterate through the list of "query params" with ng-repeat, rendering each control differently according to its type. That's all.
If I understood the task wrong, please provide more info.
