I'm trying to build my EOS smart contract using eosio.cdt and via cmake.
Compilation succeeded, but linking failed with below log.
/usr/local/eosio.cdt/bin/wasm-ld: error: locale.cpp.o: undefined symbol: strftime_l
/usr/local/eosio.cdt/bin/wasm-ld: error: memory.cpp.o: undefined symbol: __cxa_pure_virtual
/usr/local/eosio.cdt/bin/wasm-ld: error: system_error.cpp.o: undefined symbol: __cxa_pure_virtual
The code for linking module generated by cmake is as below.
eosio-ld -L=/usr/local/eosio.cdt/lib/ CMakeFiles/a.wasm.dir/a.cpp.o CMakeFiles/a.wasm.dir/validator/b.cpp.o CMakeFiles/a.wasm.dir/validator/c.cpp.o CMakeFiles/a.wasm.dir/common/d.cpp.o -o a.wasm
libc++.a exists in /usr/local/eosio.cdt/lib/.
How can I fix this problem?
Just include <eosiolib/eosio.hpp> header file.
I have a small GUI program in Red language that runs very well but is not compiling for Android. I am using following command on Debian Stable Linux (which successfully makes applications for Windows and for Mac):
$ wine red-063.exe -c -r -t Android-x86 myapp.r
But I get following error messages:
Target: Android-x86
Compiling to native code...

I get same error messages if I use Android instead of Android-x86. Where is the problem?
GUI for Android is planned for 0.65

This constant as been introduced in perl 5.9.3, and mod_perl use it from 2.0.10.

to overcome this you must modify mod_perl to use this constant conditionaly of the perl version:

A modified/enhanced version of Mathieu Carbonneaux's patch above was committed to the mod_perl SVN repository on October 8th, 2019:
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=1868115
With this patch, mod_perl 2.0.11 will compile and install using Perl <= 5.8.8.
(Sorry, I don't have the reputation to comment, only answer.)
Why are you trying to build your own version of mod_perl? Centos has a pre-built version of mod_perl which will work with the pre-built version of Perl that is already installed.
$ sudo yum install mod_perl
(Of course, this won't help if you're not using the system Perl)
dont know how but mod_perl-2.0.6 has got installed successfully. had no success with the mod_perl-2.0.10 :(
I am trying to build CMake 3.5.2 from source on Mac El Captain using GNU GCC 5.3 from HPC.
The ./bootstrap process is completed successfully but when i am using make is failing with the following error.
/Users/dev/Downloads/CMake-master/Utilities/cmcurl/lib/vtls/darwinssl.c: In function ‘darwinssl_connect_step3’:

make[1]: *** [Utilities/cmcurl/lib/CMakeFiles/cmcurl.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2
The same process worked fine when I was using the default clang compiler provided with Mac OS.
When I tried finding about SecTrustEvaluateAsync I found the following information in the apple site.
Any help on this is highly appreciated.
You might try the latest CMake 3.6-rc1. If the problem persists, file a bug to notice the CMake developers. We probably won't fix CMake's code.
When I am trying to build matplotlib-1.3.1, I am getting the below freetype header errors. Probably it is not finding the ftheader.h. Any idea on how to solve this problem?
NOTE: I just installed Freetype-2.5.0.1 following the instructions as mentioned in
FreeType Install because manually building Matplotlib-1.3.1 from source was failing due to the required package 'freetype' which was not found initially.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

For Mac OS 10.6.8
sudo ln -s /usr/X11/include/freetype2/freetype /usr/X11/include/.
Seems to do the trick... If you look at the /usr/X11/include/ft2build.h it seems as though it is really a problem with that header file and the way free type is installed, not a matplotlib problem.
Once installed (properly) the development package, the Freetype headers shall be in $(includedir)/freetype/freetype2 and $(includedir)/freetype2/freetype/config, with the only exception of ft2build.h which is in $(includedir).
It seems from the message you showed that indeed there is a ft2build.h file in /usr/include (a natural place for $(includedir)), yet the rest of the headers are not at the correct place.
I do not know exactly how to correct this since it is probably an issue with your particular distribution and the way you installed it, but I feel the most natural fix is to uninstall (properly) the freetype-dev[el] package, then re-install it, using of course the distribution-provided version which matches your installed .so, apparently 2.3.11.
Installing Freetype 2.5.0.1 will not help you until you successfully build the library, then install it in your system successfully; only then you will have the headers installed in $(includedir) and its sub-directories.
For RHEL use below command :
yum install freetype-devel -y
For Ubuntu use below command:
apt-get install libfreetype-dev -y
