I am newbie to jet.com api. Earlier I have worked in amazon api now i have a task of working with jet.com api. However I have a simple query that can we change merchant sku using jet api.
I have also read jet.com api documents but could find anything regarding changing merchant sku in jet.com api. I guess there must be somebody who knows the answer.
If you want to change your Merchant Sku
Then there is no direct method unlike Walmart
1) First of all, you need to send an archive request for that particular product whose SKU you want to change
2) Now all you have to do is to upload a new product with the desired SKU
and that product will be listed on Jet with changed Merchant SKU
Currently jet don't have such feature, if you want to change SKU you need to archive the older SKUs(products) and again upload the new updated one over jet.com
I was also facing same problem as im woking on jet.com since last two years, have communicated to jet.com many time.
Jet.com just provided archive method to hold products.
Jet.com Archive
There is no method defined to delete or update merchant sku once it is uploaded to jet.com

I made a Ticketmaster developer account and I would like to pull listing price data for specific events. I am able to retrieve this type of listing data for specific events using Stubhub's API, but looking through Ticketmaster's API documentation, I don't see any specific API requests that will return listing data, such as section, row and listing_price.
Am I missing something, or is it not possible to retrieve this type of listing data using Ticketmaster's API?
For anyone who stumbles upon this in the future, TicketMaster does offer this functionality through their availability endpoint. However you have to be a TM nexus partner to use it, and getting approved as a partner depends on what your business/software does and income etc...
I am querying the Shopify API for a specific order and I would like to know how to determine if the order was placed in our Amazon Seller channel and sent to Shopify as it is described in Shopify's documentation: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-online/amazon-sales-channel/processing-orders. On the section "Fulfilling Orders" of that page it reads:
All new orders placed through Amazon appear in your orders list and
are marked as Amazon.
A real JSON response from the Order API looks like this: https://help.shopify.com/en/api/reference/orders/order#show
I could not find any indication that the order might come via Amazon. I did find the fulfillment service (just a simple Ctrl F "amazon") but that is a different thing.
Being a Shopify Plus customer we asked their Guru Support team how they implement the "marked as Amazon" part and the response was:
Guru: Looking at all your orders you won't be able to
differentiate. When you click through to a singular order though,
you'll be able to see in its timeline that it came from Amazon instead
of your Online store.
My team: mmm so if I connect though the API
"orders.json?id=xxxx" the only way I can check it came from amazon is
though the timeline?
Guru: As far as I'm aware that's the case. I can check with our
development team to see if there's another indicator. Would I be able
to email you back with any additional findings?
Of course my team is still waiting on an answer from them but I bet someone at SO has already been in this situation before.
Some might want to know why I need to know the order source. We are sending these orders from Shopify into Netsuite via a Celigo connector. Amazon orders need to hit a different GL account than the normal Shopify orders and my task is to code the correct mapping based on some differentiating element or name/value pair from the JSON response.
When an order comes down the JSON has a field called source_name and the value should be something like this: sell-on-amazon
"source_name":"sell-on-amazon"
I'm building an integration for my warehouse and using Amazon's API's to get product information from UPC. I've ran into a number of times where a result comes back accurately from the GetMatchingProduct on MWS API but not from the Product Advertising API. Even Vice Versa has occurred.
Why might this be? Is there a reason I should just use one or the other?
Example: UPC - 363824072463
MWS brings back ASIN - B0057UUHGU which is the relevant one that also comes back when you just search Amazon. However the Product Advertising API does not return this in its list of results at all.
We have found that often times new, or recently changed items take a little while to correctly populate in the Product Advertising API.
Also, for what you say your purposes are, I would be cautious relying on the Product Advertising API. It is a sales tool, so sometimes when given an out-of-stock item, for instance, it will return results of a different item (maybe similar, maybe was variated with it, etc) as the purpose of that API is to drive sales to Amazon.
I'm trying to load all Skus from a Bigcommerce store. I first tried to use the API path /products/skus/count to get a count of the number of skus in the store as outlined in the BC documentation at https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/stores/v2/products/skus However, the /products/skus/count endpoint is returning {"count":0}. I know for a fact that I have hundreds of products with a sku. Ultimately I'd like to get a list or array of just the skus in my store. Has anyone else been able to use this API or know a way to load all the skus in my store without loading all the product object graphs as that is too slow of a solution as I don't need all the additional information nor do I want to page through all my products since it's limited to 250 items at a time. All of my other API calls are working great so I'm questioning whether there is an issue with the specific API.
Are you try to get the "sku" property for all products or the SKU resource associated with a product?
The api call at the url that you've given https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/stores/v2/products/skus
will return all the SKU resource/object associated with a product. You can either get skus for all products using the resource "products/skus/count" or a specific product using "products/{productid}/skus/count". Both calls works as documented.
I need to retrieve custom field values for customers and addresses using the Big Commerce API.
There appears to be a facility for this for custom product fields;
https://developer.bigcommerce.com/api/stores/v2/products/custom_fields
However no documentation exists for customers and addresses. I tried to access with a similar URL to the products custom fields URL (ie. GET /stores/{store_hash}/v2/customers/{customer_id}/custom_fields) with no success
I realise a similair question has been asked on here already, however BigCommerce support asked me to ask the question on here and that a developer will respond. Here's hoping.
Unfortunately there is no endpoint for custom fields on customers/addresses through the BC API. Hopefully that will be something they'll add when they come out with the next version of their API
