How do you debug a react-native Universal Windows Application? - react-native

I've followed the instructions on how to set up the hello world "AwesomeProject" targetting the "Universal Windows Platform" from https://github.com/ReactWindows/react-native-windows
The app is running and I want to debug. How do I access the developer tools and debugger?
The Getting Started instructions regards debugging on the react-native-windows project just points to the http://facebook.github.io/react-native/docs/debugging.html which mention nothing about this platform.
I've tried all the obvious combinations of Command + D & CTRL-D to no avail.

How do I access the developer tools and debugger?

BTW, On Universal Windows Platform, the react native has helped us to generate all UIElements instead of web elements.

Not able to run hybrid application in windows phone 8 in IBM Worklight

I made a project in IBM Worklight Version 6.2.I am have added android,iOS and WindowPhone8 Enviournment for the project.I am able to build and run the application in android and iOS.But when i imported the project in VS2012 for windowPhone8 It is not Working.It is not showing the Css and the click events are not working.Seems like it did not loaded Js and css but these files are present in folder structure.
Do i need to do any changes or am i doing anything wrong.Kindly help me running my project in Windows phone 8.

From tests performed, the Windows environment is built and displayed correctly. You've been asked to provide the project where this is happening to you. Do that.
Try cleaning Visual Studio's cache, try to preview your app in MobileFirst Studio and make sure there are no errors.

Regarding sdk and environment in mobilefirst studio

In the process of creating an Hybrid app while adding other environmenent i mean adding apple and android thus it requires the necessary sdk to be preinstalled in eclipse help pls ?
MobileFirst Studio generates for you the native project for each environment.
iOS: an Xcode project is generated. You then need to open it in Xcode, which requires a Mac.
Windows/Windows Phone: a Visual Studio project is generated. You then need to open it in Visual Studio, which requires a PC running Windows 8 or above
Android: for the native project to be generated, you need to:
either install the Android ADT plug-in for Eclipse
or setup Android Studio and open the project there

Titanium Studio with Windows Phone Plugin: Titanium SDK does not support the Windows platform

I want to do Windows Phone development with Titanium Studio.
I followed https://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/guides2/Getting+Started+with+the+Windows+Phone+SDK#GettingStartedwiththeWindowsPhoneSDK-UsingStudio(Preview) in order to get the Windows plugin. After a required restart of the software, the Windows option apears in the Deployment Targets when creating a new project.
Unfortunately, for all Titanium SDK Versions I have installed, 3.5.1.GA, 3.5.0.GA, 3.4.0.GA, 3.3.0.GA, I am getting an error like "Titanium SDK v3.5.1.GA does not support the Windows platform".
So I basically cannot create projects for Windows Phone.
I am using Titanium Studio 3.4.1 and followed the installation tutorial, though I deleted the SDK path after setting it (it is the default path, setting a value caused an error message, also I left the publisher GUID and Windows Store Certificate empty, since I just want to develop and don't have publishing credentials yet).
How can I create an app that runs on Windows Phone, too?

As per Eduard's answer, I skipped https://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/guides2/Getting+Started+with+the+Windows+Phone+SDK#GettingStartedwiththeWindowsPhoneSDK-WindowsPlatform(Preview) and had to do it. Now I got Titanium SDK 4.1.0.v2015... and I get the option.

So I also need to update Titanium Studio.
Well, I guess mobile development has to be buggy and cumbersome, at least that is my experience so far with various (cross-platform) products.
Try opening the solution generated in Visual Studio to attempt packaging the .sln to .appxupload to upload it to the Windows Store. Hopefully that will serve as work around until Titanium has full support for Windows (very likely 4.0.0 or 4.1.0 Titanium SDKs).

VS Debug to a windows phone device?

My understanding is in visual studio, if i change my debug to 'Remote Machine' I should be able to build and deploy to my phone, and still be debugging it in visual studio.
However, I can't seem to find a guide on how to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I specifically have a windows 8 lumia 920 if it matters.
I have VS 2012 on Windows 8 Pro with the WP 8.0 SDK installed.
What project type are you using? It sounds like you may have been using one of the templates for Windows 8 (a Windows Store app), which have the Run dropdown options Simulator, Local Machine, and Remote Machine.
If you are developing for Windows Phone using one of the WP8 templates, the options that you should see in the Run dropdown are Device, Emulator WVGA 512MB, Emulator WVGA, Emulator WXGA, and Emulator 720P. To debug to your phone in Visual Studio, you need to select "Device" from that dropdown. Here is an article with a screenshot.
If you have a solution that contains both a Windows Store and a Windows Phone project in it, make sure that you right-click on the Windows Phone project and select "Set as Startup Project".

wpf project to pixelsense application

I'm trying to write a Microsoft surface application for Samsung sur40 pixelsense machine. I have found some sample projects online and run them on the MS Visual C# 2010, but I want to convert these projects into applications so that I can put them into Samsung sur40 and run them in its surface mode. Do you know how I can actually achieve this?
In order to write these type of applications, I am using the following OS, programs and tools.
Embedded Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Microsoft Visual C# 2010 Express Edition
.NET Framework 4.0
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) 4.0
Microsoft XNA® Framework 4.0
Windows PowerShell and DMTF DASH support, and enhanced administrator tools
MS Surface 2.0 SDK(an Input Simulator allows me to develop and test projects on Windows 7 PCs)
Everything is working properly and I can test the sample projects on my PC. I just want to make a Visual Studio project to run in the Samsung sur40 machine. Please help me if it is possible? If you need further explanations to answer my question, please let me know and I try to expand the problem. Thank you in advance.

you create a shortcut of the ApplicationName.XML in your project for MS Surface applicaion
copy shortcut file and paste --> "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Surface\v2.0\Programs"
and following this steps :
In Windows mode, click Start, click All Programs, click Microsoft Surface 2.0, and then click Surface Configuration Editor
In the left pane, click Application Launcher.
In the Application Launcher pane, in the Launcher title box, type the title text you want to appear above Launcher.
The title text will be placed just above the Launcher menu and is left-justified. You cannot change the font, font size, font color, justification, or location of the text.
Click OK to save your setting and close Surface Configuration Editor, or click Apply to save your setting and continue configuring Surface. Restart Surface Shell for your settings to take effect.
