Is there any way to generate test Google Consumer Survey responses without running a real (paid) GCS Survey?
I'm building out an application for pulling, processing, and reporting GCS results. It's going to use this procedure for pulling the responses in Excel format, but I don't want to run a real survey just to test the module. Is there a procedure for doing this?
Note: Trying to pull responses from one of the example surveys found here results in an authorization failure because the "User is not an owner of this survey".

Is it possible to create a Kapow Robot that can search Google for the Operating hours of the Businesses from our list/database and update the timings if changes are made?

That's what the Google Places API is there for. While you could in theory just open Google Maps in a Load Page action, enter the query string and then parse the results, I would advise against it. Here's why:
The API will be faster, returning results in a structured manner (JSON)
Kapow has actions for calling RESTful services and parsing/modifying JSON
Google does not like robots parsing their pages, and most likely will lock you out (i.e. present you with Captchas sooner or later)
If you decide to go for the API, here's what you should do:
Get your API key first, see this page for details: https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/get-api-key. Note that the free plan allows for 1,000 requests within a 24-hours limit (https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/usage)
Maintain the place ids for all the businesses you'd like to query regularly, and update your list.
For each place, retrieve the details as described in the API documentation. The opening hours will be within the JSON response: https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/details
Update your list. I'd recommend using a definite type in Kapow for that, and using the actions Store in Database and Query Database. In case you need the data elsewhere, you may create additional robots (e.g. for Excel files, sending data per email, et cetera).
I have been working with the SurveyMonkey API for a few days now.
My ultimate goal is to be able to gather the voting results for each question in a survey.
For example... if I have a 5 question survey and each question has 3 options/answers... I'd like to gather the results of each question/option.
From what I'm finding in the API documentation... this is not possible.
Can this really not be possible?
Is there a way to gather the results of each question/answer combo using the API?
I hope I'm simply overlooking something.

It is definitely possible to get this kind of information - you can get the metadata of the survey via the API and all response data. How you process and parse that is up to you.
The most common use case to get a list of survey results is done the following way:
Get a list of respondent_ids via get_respondent_list
Send these respondent_ids to get_responses to get the raw response data
Match up the ids from this data with the ids described in the survey's metadata, which you get from get_survey_details
I am not familiar with API's so I was hoping someone could help me with a question I have. My company uses Greenhouse as their hiring software for people to apply and we are redoing our career site to be more custom. They want a page where we can display each department with a text icon that has the number of positions open in that department that updates itself and when you go into that page it wants to display the positions for that department a long with the location they are in.
In the Greenhouse.io API section they say
"This is useful for reporting purposes, or for customers who have

methods include Offices, Departments, Candidates, Activity Feed,
Applications, Scorecards, Scheduled Interviews, Offers, Jobs, Stages,

Does this GET method mean I can pull those pieces from the API and display them where ever we need to in the site and it will update automatically? I'm primarily a web designer so this info is a bit new to me.
The GET refers in fact to the HTTP methods. Generally, you call the api with GET to retrieve data.
If you want to insert a new data with api, you will use POST for instance.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) uses a URL format like qbo.intuit.com/app/timeactivity?txnId=123 to point to, in this example, a TimeActivity.
However, in the API, resources are referenced by entityId (returned as just Id when querying via the TimeActivity API), which is different from txnId.
In my time tracking web app, I have a feature that exports time to QBO as TimeActivities. I'd like to provide users with direct links from the time entered in my app to the corresponding TimeActivity in QBO—is there any way to do so?
The answer to this is that it's not currently possible because there's multiple base URLs (I think they call them "realms") in use for QuickBooks Online (qbo.intuit.com is only one of them). Because you do not receive this information as part of linking to QBO via OAuth, there's unfortunately no way to construct proper links.
Yes, when creating a successful TimeActivity you will receive back an Id, which I assume you are persisting.
That Id can be used to query QBO in a simple GET request.

I have a project that involves having public data downloaded from Google plus, can you give me a reference on how I can download like 1 GB of any type of public data from Google plus?
The data can be posts or circles information. I've tried to work with developer tools but the far I got is downloading my own profile information but what I need is public data.

There is no truly "public" data on Google+.
Every stream is unique to a user.
Try viewing the site without logging in, and you'll see what I mean.
Since users have the ability to block other users from viewing even their "public" posts, before Google shows you a post they check to see if you're on the blocked list. For them to be able to do that, you have to be logged in.
Your best bet would be to create a dummy account and only look at your nearby stream or What's Hot.
Otherwise you'd need to circle users, and that would create the stream. G+ is not like twitter. There's no firehose to speak of.
To programmatically cull data, you would have to use their API, but even then their HTTP API limits you to 20 results per search and you have to provide a query.
You could get up to 100 results per user if you picked individuals and got their userids, but again there's not a programmatic way to get a bulk dump.
You could randomly select users by using an activity search for a dictionary entry, and then seed that into the activity listing api... something like (in pure pseudocode)

group = userids from GET https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/activities?query=[word]
for userid in group
GET https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/[userid]/activities/collection/public
Actual code would of course depend on the language.
